The one thing I'd like you to clarify is how to correctly value TE's based on the premium in your league. I play in a lot of .75-1 pt premium and even a few start 2 TE leagues. Maybe a discussion on how to correctly adjust values for TEs in these markets since higher TEP's are becoming more common.
I still think what I said holds true, only caveat is that Bowers and those really top tier bulletproof guys become higher startup values, I still think avoiding the mid TE1s-late TE1s in favour of volume TE drafting later is still viable
I’m at 1.01, 1.05, and 1.05. Jeanty is locked but depending on how the board falls, idk if I’d take Burden over the RB2 in the class and the 1.05 is a pick that’s busted wide open for me.
@@Ayeee155 if you are taking Jeanty, let's assume Tet goes at 1.02, then you get another RB at 1.03...if the 1.04 doesn't take Burden, he's yours at 1.05 - which in a vacuum is likely. Does 1.04 team have a glaring hole at only WR, only RB, or both?
Last year I had amassed 7 of the first 11 picks. After taking Daniels, Marv, Nabers, Rome, and Bowers, I drafted Brooks. At the time I thought this was a great idea but I passed on BTJ and Ladd to do it and now I hate having Brooks on my roster instead.
I know this channel loves Drake Maye - I do too! Would you be good sending AJB and Carr to get Maye in SF 6pt PTD, 2PPR, start three flex? Have Murray and TLaw (and Fields). Also have JJ, BTJ, DJM, Sutton, Worthy, Downs, Ridley. Really need an elite QB to get me over the hump. Keep finishing 2nd or 3rd. Edit: Also have a competing offer for Herbert for AJB/Carr. Still leaning Maye.
Those other guys were all like 200 or less pounds, Chase brown is 211 and we were also very high on him coming out of Illinois and going into the year so I’d say probably not
Anthony Richardson is a running QB with great draft capital, so it's not quite that simple. He completed only 54% of his passes in college, 53% in HS. A QB being able to run is a huge advantage but we must also assess their ability to actually play QB and pass the ball. Agree with most of the other lessons though
Really hard to answer before we know draft capital and landing spots of the other guys I’d say as of now Bucky would find himself in a tier with that RBs 2-6 range of Judkins, Hampton, Henderson, Kaleb & Gordon II for me
I own the 1.02, 1.03, 1.06 and the first three picks in the 2nd round and couple early 3rds (12 team league superflex) what should I offer with my 1.02 to get the 1.01?
After getting 2nd place Last year I slightly over paid and added a conditional pick for the 1.03 to control my fate and get Nabers but with the 1.04 I took Rome instead of bowers or JD5 because I have heavy hitters at qb and had Trey McBride and Kincaid at TE and I knew it was the wrong pick inside but nonetheless I won this year
Yeah that's a classic example of drafting for need my man, I don't think Rome over Bowers was egregious but no way we would've told you to draft Rome over Jayden Daniels
@ yea I definitely choked on that one. Hopefully JJM balls out and I’ll feel better. I was able to snag Bo as well after someone dropped him like week 4 or something. I need Rome to show out to make me feel better I still believe especially since Ben Johnson left my lions
I had Bijan Gibbs Achane Bucky And others, first year with Achane and my first championship win. JJettas disappointed at receiver for me and taking Marvin Harrison over Nabers at #1 flopped
Are you rebuilding? I mean I’d rather have guys outta rookie draft than any of these, I mean legit with the picks you get you can grab jeanty, tet,hamp/johnson or burden depending on roster. Bottom line if you have that many picks you’re probably at the bottom of league. I have 7 picks in top 2 rounds, w/ jd, and maye, nabers, btj, and London at wr. Bunch of wr3 or rb3
My question to you is why? you already have tons of rookie pick capital to add to your team. 1.02 for Cook and Hock is probably a wash and then Tua, Legette and the 3rd probably wash out the otherside assuming it's superflex. I get having some excitement for the rookie class but to me this is just too much investment into one class
Last year I passed up on a trade that would’ve given me JSN for the 1.10 on Rookie draft day. Then I traded out of the pick that would’ve given me bo nix bc I didn’t need him. Got sniped Michael penix too to make it worse. Also Traded the 1.03 which ended up being nabers for Pickens and the 1.09 which ended up being BTJ. So yeah I had an absolute brutal brutal year. Moral of the story: IT IS OKAY TO BE AGGRESSIVE AND TRADE UP TAKE BPA ALWAYS. Even if you don’t need a qb, take the damn QB.
I took pearsall over btj last year and I feel like an absolute idiot. On the flip side I traded stroud and 2.04(brooks) for Kyler and 1.04(Nabers) feel REALLY good about that one
Yeah honestly boss I don't even know how you came to that conclusion, even if for whatever reason you preferred Pearsall (idk why he was an inferior prospect by every statistical and film measure) you should've at least traded back. That 2nd trade was a smash tho
I'm sitting at 1.01, 1.02, 1.05, 1.12, and 2.01 in my home league. Just so happens that my need is RB so I got lucky lol. Probably gunna take Jeanty, Tet, Kaleb/Omarion/Henderson (depending on availability at 1.05), then 2 of Tre Harris, Tyler Warren, Jalen royals, Dylan Sampson, DJ giddens at 1.12 and 2.01. super excited.
Trade offer Team 1 Drake London Chase Brown Derrick Henry 2025 2.04 For Justin Herbert 2025 1.05 2025 2.05 2027 Mid 1st 2QB, 7 starting + 2QB not counting K or DEF. Which side wins?
Loaded up with Nabers, Marvin and BTJ in my 24 draft, hoping to get the best RB available at the 1.04 and 1.06 in my 25 draft. It's a 1 QB league, and I already have Herbert, Maye, Caleb and Penix, with Bijan and Nico as my other established players. Hoping the draft goes Jeanty, Tet and Burden, which will leave my Hampton/TreVeyon/Johnson to choose from with my picks.

The fantasy professor! Thanks for the 101 refresher
Haha I gotchu boss
“Shoutout to Liam Coen for staying in Tampa.” OOOOFFFF
I drafted both Jonathan Brooks and Trey benson over btj and Ladd. Glad I did though bc now I learned the lesson for future years
Damn both guys? Very painful lesson lol but you know what to do moving forward
I wish you were in my league
@@GameStarGreen my team still clears so it’s fine lol I’m glad it happened
Sorry brother but I’m glad I wasn’t the only one
both def could still pay off tho lol im buying benson everywhere i can...
Great video Bush. Really appreciate how you guys are able to change as the market does and don’t just hand out the same tired and outdated advice. 💪🏼
You bet!
Incredible video keep cooking Corey
Thanks! Will do!
Really enjoyed this video!
Glad you enjoyed it!

The draft and experts gave me Marvin and Rome last year - going to hold both for a while!
Traded for no. 1 this year -
Hope Jenty is more productive❤
Yeah those guys should be just fine, lost a bit of value which stinks but they should bounce back
Great video
Thanks!

Depends where burden goes but he’s definitely climbing the board
Assume you mean 1.06
Really all depends on landing spots and capital for the backs and Burden, as prospects, they're likely a wash
@@ER0CK5_ apologies, the second listed pick was supposed to be 1.03. So it’s 1.01, 1.03, and 1.05

is Dell a sell, hold or buy? and what is his price at the moment? 3rd round?
Does Chase Brown fit into the lesson of size is less important?

Love the content…Milroe though 😳
Haha, ik he’s not that great but if the nfl says he’s worthy of a first round pick we’ll all have to change our tunes a bit
Where does Bucky compare to the rookie RBs in this class? Would he be just behind Jeanty?
Really hard to answer before we know draft capital and landing spots of the other guys I’d say as of now Bucky would find himself in a tier with that RBs 2-6 range of Judkins, Hampton, Henderson, Kaleb & Gordon II for me
I drafted Hurts at the 1.07 and Herbert at the 2.06, then traded D Smith (6.07) for T Law (6.01) later in the draft. Feel good about it and it's BB
Nice 3 stack of QBs you got long term
@ for sure! WR is pretty weak but in BB I feel good about having better QB and RB first
I own the 1.02, 1.03, 1.06 and the first three picks in the 2nd round and couple early 3rds (12 team league superflex) what should I offer with my 1.02 to get the 1.01?
I'd try the 1.02 and 1.06 for the 1.01.
Yeah, 1.02 + 1.06 for 1.01 makes logical sense, maybe see if you can get it done using some 2nd rounders tho first
Due diligence for the 2025 offseason.

Depending on league format, it's actually kind of a dumb flex. 1QB league but just guessing.

pretty bad
if that's a superflex league you're playing with sandeaters haha, even in 1QB I love it
