This was my moms feminism - confident, intellectual, self evident... Fair. Now a days McKinnon's and Dworkin's feminism is more like a belief or faith, the scripture behind progressive ideas and beliefs. Minus the worldly self-sufficiency part, feminists now seem far less mature and worldly. Paglia is a hero of mine. But it was really the bright eyed enthusiasm of Hoff-Summers that made this fun to watch.
While it is not always their intention, I feel that most populist movements make it much more difficult to have an honest, constructive discussions on societal problems. Communication between groups is becoming more and more broken day after day...
Hoff looks so much different with that hair color and style...sorry to be a misogynist for noticing but I am a man.... In all sincerity, she is one of my favorite people out in the public pushing back against Marxism and Feminism Thanks for sharing!
noting her hairstyle is not misogynistic. Misogyny is the hatred of women. You made an observation with no judgement atached to it. Even if you were judging it, doesn't make it misogynistic.
A perfect example that feminist now is same as 23 years ago...or 43 or even 63 years ago. It is just that now we remember feminist Pr of that era. That is also no different from what it is now.
Feminism can never remain in the mainstream because it ceases to be feminism whenever it becomes rigid in structure or fixed, and it will probably always exist as long as females and males exist. But feminism is very different today, because there are new females within it who may or may not remember their history.
@@naryainc _But feminism is very different today, because there are new females within it who may or may not remember their history._ Structurally feminisms now is same as it was 80 years ago. Only thing changing is extend of demands. As due to feminism parasitic nature it keeps on going, growing bigger and with that so do it demands. It was always "me, me, me, me, me, me..." and it was always about acquiring privileges, while avoiding responsibilities. In fact i would say that feminism succeeded in actually reducing amount of responsibilities women have. Now pretty much every time a women fails it is fault of either patriarchy, society or nature("its not her fault, she has mental condition").
It's Ben Wattenberg. He says his name at the very end and it's displayed right under the show title: Think Tank with Ben Wattenberg T1 E116 (all in uppercase letters).
Always a pleasure to listen to Hoff-Sommers and Paglia.
McKinnons hair... Is still annoying. I never heard of Hoff Sommers and Paglia at uni, I see why now: they make sense!!! :)
The fact that McKinnon has an old Edwardian era Gibson hairstyle from the early 1900’s shows how far behind she was.

I actually agree with all three of them. How odd.

Don't apologize. I was noticing the same. She is a beautiful woman, but she really does look better as a blond. It really works for her.

Why not include MacKinnon in the title of the video? Personal bias?

The interviewer is Abe Vigoda.

@@RoyalroadtotheuncPoint well taken, but I was saying it like I would also say if I were watching Megyn Kelly that she is Nicole Brown Simpson.
Wow this video is awful and I cannot believe I was forced to watch this for class
