No they're not. We aren't taking scraps from a contender for Vuc. How bad does said contender want to win? Salary filler and a couple of 2nd round picks? No thank you. Come correct or go kick rocks. Come correct or watch the playoffs from home without a winning center. Bye bye losers....keep your precious pick. And the Bulls were never asking four 1st round picks for AC. That's ridiculous. Vooch is worth a 1st or viable young player assets that fit our rebuild. Anything less will not suffice. We'll keep Vuc....don't need table scraps.
I agree they shouldn't settle for garbage, but holding onto to Vooch to see his value decline or even lose him for nothing in two years isn't any better. And yes, the Bulls were asking for 4 first round picks
Bulls overvalue their players. Is Vuc an all-star? Are the Bulls going anywhere with Vuc as a core player? They better take what they can get and make better decisions in the future.
@@QuietStormP They can start making better decisions now. Bulls gave up a lot to get Vuc in the first place and he's currently performing at a high level. A level that at the center position teams don't get for 20m a season. Bulls need to stand firm. If a team wants Vooch its one with an immediate window to winning and they're in need of big help. No reason to "take what they can get for him." They can do that next season when he's on expiring deal, or keep him to play center through 25-26 and let him walk. He is not the kind of player to take "anything we can get for." His position is specialized, he's playing very well, and he's on a friendly deal. Bulls need value back for their investment and the current product. No scraps accepted. A GOOD pick and salary guys is not too much to ask. Or lesser "picks" and a young player or two with higher upside. If we can't get that? The trade ain't worth it. And that goes both ways, apparently. Who wants him, why, and how badly?
Too much!? Wtf dude is an all star! He could really help a contending team get over the hump. One first round pick is nothing! A contending team wont even get a top 15 pick...
how is asking for a first round pick " borderline delusional" ? they didn't say its unconditional, heck it could be a late first. do you want a late 2nd pick instead? what is the backfire? we keep vooch for one more year for 20 mil. and maybe trade him again for a team looking to shed a salary as now he is expiring? Is it really that bad compared to a late 2nd round pick?
I don’t think it’s overvalued at all. If Gobert can get 5 first round picks, or was it 4? In either case, than Vooch is worth 1! And his contract is not too bad.
Great vid but I tend to disagree vooch is having a career year as a bull I don’t feel like the bulls should sell low on there talent they did that with demar and got pretty much nothing I’m not mad at there high asking price
Bro theres no way ppl are still hating on the Caruso trade like I get it we should've got some seconds but josh giddey is tuff and established and LITERALLY SO YOUNG like y'all are too harsh on him I loved the trade the moment it came through, did I want some seconds yes, was I happy about getting Giddey absolutely
Hellz, No! Do you realize how hard it is to find a 20 and 10 center? In the Chicago Bulls history they've only had Artis Gilmore, Pau Gasol, and Joakim Noah who were worth a damn. As long as Vooch is ball'n he stays!
@ecobean3440 Why he should stay? So that Bulls can keep winning 35-41 games per season and play some play-in games? If Bulls would be a better team overall, yes you keep Vooch, but we are too far from top.
@@atsk3281 How many games do you think the Bulls will win without Vooch? Besides, who knows if the Bulls will win 35-40 games? There's a lot of regular season left. What if the rook Matas Buzelis blows up the 2nd half of the season. How much better will the Bulls be then? What if Lonzo Ball stays healthy as his mins increase? How much better can Julian Phillips be? The Bulls need vets as they develop the young guns. They need players who know how the league works. If the Bulls end up with a top 10 draft pick they can trade Vooch over the summer. But they'll have to give up their top 8 draft pick to SA next year.
Voochie Coochie is playing like an all star this season. A first round pick or promising young aspects are the least we should get back in a trade. How often do 2nd round picks amount to anything at all? Most times, they don’t even convert to something nearly as valuable as Vooch when he was playing BAD, let alone his production right now.
I seriously doubt the Bulls will make any significant trades. Zach, Zo, and Vooch will remain past the deadline. The Bulls will have to give up their top draft pick this summer or next summer. Either way they will keep the team in tact and build onto what they have.
We want a 1st for Vucevic, Worth a 1st for Vucevic and the only team with Value for the Bulls is The New Orleans Pelicans swaping Ingram and their Milwaukee first. Packaging Carter & Duarte! This way we get a pick this year, and lose enough to keep our own pick sense Ingram will be out to the End of all-star weekend. That’s two 1st rd picks and a 2nd this year… We gain leverage this way! Anyone who doesn’t agree with this should read this twice👍 Pelicans a Playoff team with Vucevic and with Health and they need a center and we need what they can offer.
@@BullsCentral2 firsts & a 2nd in this years draft… and Brandon Ingram… While staying 900K under the Tax,.. and The Pelicans need a Vucevic more than any other team. And they have the players that fit his output. You have no idea how to create a better outcome than that. That’s a well-rounded approach. Do better research.
Bro, you just said the Bulls should trade for Brandon Ingram as if that solves anything when you have to pay him next year and is a DeMar DeRozan redundancy, and then you tell me to do better research….lol ok
@BullsCentral So it doesn’t solve anything because we have to PAY HIM? The $ isn’t the issue… needing a dominant option @ PF, averaging 25/5 & 6 against every team in the Eastern conference is the issue. Not having enough DEPTH TO BENCH COBY is the issue. If you’re worried about paying him $36m you worried about the wrong thing. Resigning Lonzo could be $14m less that’s an additional $14m beyond B.I. Current $36m! Giddey is worth a 4/$60m that’ll still leave us $11m under the Tax considering THT & Craig which im sure we would agree to re-sign THT for that 3rd string rotation. Maybe leaving us with $8m. Just enough to get a Draft pick and a young 7-footer… all without going in the Tax… but getting B.I. Before the season ends, will provide useful proof if it’s worth going in the tax this summer IF need-be… it’s about Strategy! Giddey, Lavine, Williams, Ingram. Simple math.
Who are these sources? I always find trade talk funny because the truth is that nobody knows anything substantial until just before a trade actually happens.
This gives me the vibe that even after what all those shitty decisions(the Zach to Portland one being especially freaking despicable😡)have led to, they still haven’t woken up and realized the error of their ways. Tired of this.
Bulls NEED a young center in return not a random 1st round. Ayton's value is at an all time low. We should capitilize! Trade Vuc, jevon carter & duarte for Ayton & Rayan Rupert & 2 2nd rounds (or 1 top 10 protected 1st round)
@atsk3281 Clingan is great, but he's a project. He is a great defender, but he could learn so much from Vuc offensively. Vuc is a low maintenance star that, despite being 34, has played over 70 games in each of the last 4 seasons (Ayton has played over 60 games once in the last 4 seasons). For a 20 & 10 guy, vuc has a great contract he expires in 2 seasons when Blazers will be more able to compete. He is also a veteran who's a great example. He's a respected multi all star, a great professional, and could really help a young team with no culture or respected veterans to develop. Carter would also be a solid piece for them, he's also a great professional who just didn't get a role in the bulls due to the rising of white & ayo.
@atsk3281 How is that not a great deal for Portland? Ayton has clearly not worked out...He doesn't fit their timeline. They clearly drafter his replacement and he's got a headache of a contract, one of the worst in the nba for how he's performing.
@ciccio40105 Blazers have Clingan and Williams III for a backup. Why do they need Vooch and would give away a pick to get him? I don't think that Ayton's contract is that bad or long to do it.
I doubt we'd get a first but we'll see idk if I'm a team I ain't giving up a first for an expensive old big man like he's playing like an all star and he should get a first but I can see the bulls not getting a first tbh
Asking late pick for a 21,10 and 3 guy who is shooting 58,47 and 85 is fair imo.
