Savor dozens of stunning photographs captured by the Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist who spent 42 years at The Dallas Morning News.
Photos from his book cover travels to four continents, multiple Super Bowls, Pope John Paul II’s celebrated visit to Mexico in 1979, and the tragic 1993 Branch Davidian siege near Waco. His portraits include Nolan Ryan--whose 5,000th strikeout pitch became legendary by Woo’s camera, Mark Cuban, Clint Murchison, Shannon Wynne, Rosalyn Carter, Betty Ford, Lady Bird Johnson and Troy Aikman.
David Woo was part of the Dallas Morning News photo staff effort that won the Pulitzer Prize for the coverage of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. In 1984, David was a runner up for the Pulitzer in feature photography for photos of civil wars in El Salvador and Nicaragua.
