German Shorthairs are great dogs. Owed one in my life, one of my favorites. She'll be hyper till she's 3. Also they are hard dogs, so don't be afraid to be strict with her. they love discipline and structure it helps them contain their nervous energy.

And my new $5,000 German Shorthaired Pointer puppy directly imported from Germany. But first I'm going to spin up a tortilla put some wild hog meat from an exotic hunt I did and then Sprinkle it with some GOLD DUST !! Should be a great day of fishing !! And it was !! Great vid !! My GSP was my hunting and fishing buddy for quite a few years. The high energy tapered off around 6-7. Finally had to put her down at 15 due to health issues. For Sadie’s first trip, that wasn’t bad. She will get there if you keep bringing her along.

I have a pointer that could be sadie's twin. They are great dogs. She showed you that she does know how to hunt when she goes in. Mine does the same. She cries when you cast because she anticipates a catch. Wonderful dogs
She has good prey drive. Explains her whining when you cast. She doesn’t care bout the lure , only reason she watches it hard is because she knows it catches fish. Smart dog

I have a Portuguese Water Dog an it was a pain in the beginnin but now she’s the only one that goes fishin wit me, an she only jumps in when I throw her ball in cause that’s how I trained her to stay on the boat, your definitely gonna need some patience but it will pay off in the long run, an for the first time she didn’t do that bad... 🤙🏼🤙🏼

I bought one down in Sanibel from my buddy that owns a tackle shop and paired it with my STRADIC 4000 and I gotta say that it's my favorite inshore combo by far. Nothing bothers me more then when people say there dogs are dumb and a pain but then when they do something wrong they don’t yell at them. How are they to learn? If you don’t want her in the water make sure she knows it’s wrong. Smh Same goes for kids.

My Lab goes in and grabs the fish and swims him back. He can als go got fish from others and bring them back and drop them in a bucket. LOL
