Thank you for this review! I'm looking into this for my 6th grader and going to look for reviews of other BJU worldview materials for my 11th grader.

Hi, Sarah! I can't believe I haven't subscribed to you yet! Glad I came across your video ;) Just subscribed! Great video! We used this worldview book this year as well with my three kids.

Hey Ashley! Thanks for subscribing! 💜. This curriculum has SO MUCH packed into it that our kids (everyone, really!) should know. I’m really thankful I stumbled upon it at that convention we attended!

do you think the teacher guide is necessary?

Great question! Honestly, for some BJU Press courses I’d say yes. For this one, I think you’ll want the answer key to the activity guide for sure (if you plan on having your kids do the activity workbook), but you could absolutely do this without the teacher guide.
Many days (after using this for a few months now) my kids and I read the next section together and simply discuss.
The teacher guide does have some helpful answers and suggestions though, but I don’t think it’s *necessary* to use.
I can’t tell you how much we are loving reading through this book, though!!

How did this work out for your homeschool? I have my eye on it.

I love this curriculum. Highly recommend it. We are working through it slowly and only doing 1-2 lessons a week because that’s all we have time for at the moment. We will continue with it until we get through it all.
My kids are 5th and 6th grade and sometimes the workbook/writing parts can be a lot. So we just modify that as needed. But the textbook has been great and we have a lot of great discussions during our lessons.
