Part 8: • Michael Jai White on W...
Part 1: • Michael Jai White on P...
    --------
In this clip, Michael Jai White weighed in on Zab Judah feeling like he's the only person to ever hand Floyd Mayweather Jr. a knockdown in a fight, despite the judges not scoring it for him. Michael said he believes Zab had faster hands than Floyd but it was Mayweather's mental game which set them apart. He talked about Floyd's fight-day demeanor and the calmness he exudes in the ring even in midst of chaos like the Zab Judah fight devolved into.
Michael also talked about Don King and how his public persona was nothing like interacting with Don in private.

That's how you know Floyd is great. People think speed is what wins you fights but once you identify your opponent is just as fast or faster, that's when you begin to time 'em and adjust. That's where Floyd ascends above most fighters. He's a master at staying composed and adapting in the mist of hell.

@@dlt9784 Yeah he eventually got there. He s the only boxer in history to go from junior middleweight, to middleweight, to cruiserweight, to light heavyweight, then finally heavyweight because he destroyed everybody in his actual weight class...Best fighter of all time IMO. Regardless the question was about speed, and reaction time. Not who beat everyone put in front of them..Even though Roy just about did that too. Floyd handpicked his fights for the most part, with dabs of real fights in there here and there. Not taking anything away from Floyd's ability, just the question and video title is about speed. Nobody says anything about weight class..Roy had the hand speed and reaction time to beat Floyd, had they been in the same weight class.

Don King is the real king of boxing. He really came in the game as a pure street dude and took over the sport for decades. He had no college degrees or inside connections, he really got it out the mud. He became a multi-millionare and never looked back. He understood when his time was up and got out the way with his money. He doesn't seek attention nowadays like alot of other people that use to be on top. Only in America!!! He fucked over alot of people to get to the top, but he made it to the top despite the odds, and it will never be done again in our lifetime.

@@LB3THEKID Zab was whooping Floyd because he was a fast Southpaw. There is no bigger advantage in sports than being a Southpaw fighter. Floyd used to always take 4 rounds to adjust and get your timing down. If Zab was orthodox, he wouldn't have won a single round

jab was a good fighter. people keep saying he relied only on his speed, but if that was the case he wouldnt of never made it to the pros. his problem was he let his emotions get in the way of his profession, and he wasnt much of a fighter to go into later rounds with elite fighters. at the time he was definitely elite. he didnt make the money he made just being average fighter. floyd was just mentally and physically stronger despite jab being faster. all you have to do is see what fighter face was more damaged after the fight.
