- Hi everyone! I'm bringing yet another one of my personal mixes, in today's video I'll be presenting you my take on the track "Place With No Name".
The song was originally recorded during the "Invincible" album sessions, But in this mix I'll be reconstructing the song as if it were made during the "Bad" album sessions! Please leave any suggestions for future mixes!

Recorded in 1987 under the name "Place With No Name" shortly after Leave Me Alone was recorded. It failed to make the album and it was replaced with Speed Demon. However, it was originally was a planned release for Bad 25, but was canned shortly afterwards. Finally on October 10, 2022, Quality Mixes leaks the original 1987 completed track.

Yes. Nice detail, since a lot of songs were pitched up for that album, like Bad, Smooth Criminal, The Way You Make Me Feel, Leave Me Alone, Another Part Of Me, etc.

This is really good! You're a master of 80s mixes. I wish the audio had a higher quality tho, I can hear the bass is kinda distorted and there's also s lot of echo in Michael's voice. Either way, your ideas are awesome, that guitar got me hooked from the start :)
HE DON'T MISS! Seriously, you always seem to capture the right sounds and instruments from different eras and albums so well. Some mixers have an artificial or fake feel to it, but your music seriously sounds like something I could imagine being from a real release.
(Would love to hear a "Bad" mix at some point too! Haha)

Lol I barely pitched the vocals up, it’s actually only 15% more sped up than the original
Even so.. some of Michael's songs were pitched up anyways. It's not that big of a deal.
@@calamari.jaksun8914 lol these “TH-cam comment experts” don’t realize that the entire albums of Bad and Thriller were both slightly pitched up by 15% hence why I always do the same in my mixes but trying to explain that with every mix is getting exhausting.
