They are not. They don't support the right to bear arms for the Chinese people. The statement that they would hypothetically approve of making guns "disappear overnight" demonstrates a huge misunderstanding. To claim there haven't been gun deaths compared to the United States, and that China has a "clean slate" is disingenuous. The CCP has murdered millions of its own citizens.
@@TL8311-j6x No they are saying it is a fantasy that will never come true, why would they want firearms banned in the first place if they want to defend themselves? All they are saying is that it will never happen in the way the government wants it to.
@@TL8311-j6x They are being realistic. Obviously, guns are bad. They are devices made to kill. That's a bad thing. But America already has so many that you may as well go out and get your own to keep yourself safe, or have some fun with it. People are already shooting each other left and right. In China, they don't have that problem, so why create it. I don't agree with his position, as I don't have a fetish for guns that would make me try to see some situation where it's okay to buy 50 of them. But his position is totally rational and not hypocritical.

I am 5th generation Texan, living w/ family on the same piece of land for 125+ yrs now. It takes a special breed of person to be a true Texan. One cannot determine a true Texan by simply looking at them; a true Texan is identified by their heart (actions + words). There's no denying Texans are proud but that's because Texas and Texans are awesome! We are generally the nicest people as long as you're polite too. But if you do 'get out of line', you will get straightened out w/ the quickness (& for the love of God do not disrespect our women.) Donald Chen understands the "Texan way" & appears to be Texan AF, more than many Texans I know. I hope I get to meet him one day, shake his hand & welcome him to Texas. Thanx for the great report!
Yeah, you're supposed never let a novice have more than one round in a pistol. I've heard too many stories of people shooting themselves or others because they can't control the recoil.
I'd just like to point out, from a statistician's point of view, looking at "firearm-related deaths" is not the same as "firearm-related homicides," as "firearm-related deaths" also includes suicides. From what I understand, the U.S and China have roughly comparable suicide rates, they just don't have access to guns in order to commit suicide. Hence, comparing "Firearm-related deaths" between the two countries is like comparing shootings in China to shootings PLUS firearm-related suicides in the U.S.
And about 2/3 of the US firearms deaths are in fact suicides, yet the US does not have an abnormally high suicide rate (compared to other industrialized countries). So it would stand to reason that without guns there would be about the same number of suicides, but they would use other methods. Honestly, I much prefer suicidal people blowing their own brains out at home over them jumping off of a highway overpass or in front of an oncoming train. I mean ideally they would not be in a place to actually want to take their own lives, but if they do, I'd rather have them not risk the lives of others around them while doing it :X That said, the US does have a problem with gun violence as well. But that is not caused by guns. There are other countries with almost the same level of gun proliferation (like Switzerland or Czech Republic) which exhibit nothing close to the level of gun violence the US does. There are probably several reasons for this, but the most likely ones are the missing or inadequate social security systems, a lack of mental health support systems and of course the major issues with gang violence. Those are mainly fueled by the drug prohibition (while at the same time being the largest consumer of illegal drugs in the world), which makes it insanely profitable for those gangs. This in turn of course incites turf wars, leading to lots of shooting victims. I think the single best policy to prevent gun violence would not be banning guns (those illegal drugs are also banned, yet they still make it into the country in bulk) but rather legalizing most if not all drugs, regulating the market and drying up this entire illicit economy. You don't see Anheuser-Busch and Coors Brewing Company shooting up each others distributors these days. Not since the prohibition on alcohol ended and dried up that revenue stream for the gangs at least.
@Troy Hendrickson what are you coming at me for? I was just admiring you for knowing a Mexican that joined the military....wow. if we only had more people like you this world be a better place.

People here in the United States don’t realize how good we have it. Of course we have a lot of social issues that needs to be fixed but compared to other nations we have it a lot better. Trust me, it could be worse. I was born and raised in Mississippi, I grew up in poverty as well. When I joined the Marine Corps right after high school, I got to see the world and it has given me a different perspective compared to my peers who pretty much have never been anywhere. Appreciate the freedoms we have here. Like I said earlier, it could be worse. Trust me, I have seen worse.
Indio Hatuey tell that to the people of Djibouti, Africa where I was stationed. Tell that to the local Djiboutian population that welcomed us with open arms even though they were Muslims but didn’t want sharia law enforced by Islamic extremists from Somalia or Yemen. Tell that to the local people of Djibouti who welcomed us(who were mainly Christians) because we stimulated the economy and provided much needed jobs for the tiny country. I never felt so appreciated in my life until I went there. The people of that country were beyond hospitable and we never had to fire shots. Our presence there alone kept out radicalized warlords from neighboring countries. Tell that to the small Iraqi communities that were overran by again radicalized idiots who perverted their faith. I never said I fully supported everything the USA government does. However my time in the military was an eye opener to how great we have it here in the USA.

In America, the process for foreigners is usually exactly the same as it is for citizens of this country. You'd be surprised. There are a surprising number of pro-gun conservatives in the rural areas of California. It's them city folk who ruined everything. If we're not careful every state will be like that.
There are also pro gun Democrats here. But it's not popular to talk about in the media. I feel the only news we hear about is the far left and far right. Nobody wants to hear about what average joe democrat/Republican is doing because that's "boring". For example not many people want to hear about the responsible Democrat who owns five guns and only takes them out of his gun safe for maintenance plus a bimonthly gun range trip with his friends. Then on the Republican side it's boring to hear that concealed carry owner only takes gun out of holster for maintenance; they have loaded guns in their secure gun safe and only two people in the household have the combo.
When she asked those dudes “ should china leave citizens have guns” those dudes where like, do I want my family back home disappeared? As well I have family in China. The most important thing that won't get discussed is that "as long as you have money" comment. If you have money/buy property you can skip ahead in the visa/immigration process. There are more people in the USA on expired visas than cross the border illegally.

For those who question his true allegiance. As an immigrant born in Taiwan (of Chinese ethnicity) , raised in the U.S. since 9, my allegiance is with the Chinese/Taiwanese/American people, not the Taiwanese Nationalist Party/CCP/U.S. 'Woke' govt. There will always be bias and questions of a person's true beliefs, but don't ask that question base on skin color. When the U.S. government/corporations signed the NAFTA with Canada/Mexico and WTO with Chinese CCP, do you think the 'white' elitist government and 'white' CEO's have the best interest in the American people? When GM/Ford moved their manufacturing plants to Mexico what are their interests? I can tell you it's not the American people. When Apple/HP/Dell moved their plants to China, what are their interests? I do need to clarify the terms 'white' used above is based on majority of the ruling class in U.S. during the 80's/90's. As a son of orient descent, I am happy to see Taiwan/China's rise in economy and lifting its people out of poverty through hard work. I truly believe all people just want to live with dignity and those that hold die-hard allegiance with certain government entity are few. In truth, if there is a war breaking out between China/U.S. I would not help either government's conflict for power (being a senior communication tech working in U.S. govt branch), but I would do my best to save lives and not point my barrel toward anyone. In conclusion, his allegiance is with Texas and the 2nd Amendment and 100% with the American people.
xDAZZE I’m Canadian. I want to move to Texas as well but it’s near impossible for me because I’m not a skilled worker and don’t have any family in the US. I’ve already got my education as well. @Home Home That's not true . In Europe crime has skyrocketed in the past 8 years and we cannot defend ourselves except for Switzerland (they can own guns).
Some words/phrases don't translate well in different languages. For example, many Americans like to say the French phrase "Je ne sais quoi" to describe a certain "x-factor," despite it literally meaning "I don't know what." These translation difficulties become more apparent when the languages are not related to one another (i.e. translating english to chinese and vice versa). Culture, thought, and ideas also play an important role in the grammatical structure and vernacular unique to each language.
I'm appreciative that AJ took an interest in this man, and presented this man in an interesting and fair way. His chosen lifestyle mirrors what my family members and my upbringing were like, although he is obviously wildly successful in his ventures. I thought the best part was when he said "My life here has given me peace, I can be with my children every day". You can tell they are going to have a pretty great life. It also did a good job of showing how, no matter where you may have been born, you can adopt, embrace and be a part of the great Texas culture if you feel it is for you. True Texan here.

Yeah AJ+'s propaganda intent is pretty obvious here
And about 2/3 of the US firearms deaths are in fact suicides, yet the US does not have an abnormally high suicide rate (compared to other industrialized countries). So it would stand to reason that without guns there would be about the same number of suicides, but they would use other methods. Honestly, I much prefer suicidal people blowing their own brains out at home over them jumping off of a highway overpass or in front of an oncoming train. I mean ideally they would not be in a place to actually want to take their own lives, but if they do, I'd rather have them not risk the lives of others around them while doing it :X
That said, the US does have a problem with gun violence as well.

Even if you cut out suicides, there's still around 10,000 gun murders in the US, 5x that of China.

There's a big difference between being something and just going there because you're some of the bennifits.
This guy right here is the prime example of a true American...he’s not blinded by insecurity...just wants to be happy with his dream and to live with a smile. Not hurting anyone but filled with smiles. True American ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽
I would love to have this guy as my neighbour, looks like fun guy.
Man I’m jealous he is living the American Dream; it makes me happy to see the American lifestyle is loved by people around the world. God bless you man!
God bless you Donald! I'm so proud that America is a place where lifelong citizens like me and people like you are free to make their dreams come true! You sir are a shining example of what America is all about and an inspiration to me in my quest to make my American dreams a reality! 🇺🇸
Honestly if anyone owns a ranch you automatically have to own a gun. It’s just a safety thing. I really don’t mind it as long as you know how to keep safe and what exactly to do with kids around firearms. In Florida it’s pretty much everyday you see a person with a concealed weapon perfectly normal as long as everything is above board.
andy luo You must be from north Florida
Daniel Cuevas actually Central Florida.
Here in Kansas you don't even need a CCW to conceal carry. God bless America 🇺🇲
It doesn’t matter what you mind or if you own land or not. If you are an American citizen you should own a gun, go through gun safety courses and be a responsible gun owner.
@Why Why Why Why Joe 'Groper' Biden most people I know that support gun control understand that it's completely necessary to own a firearm when you own a ranch or live in the mountains
I love it when we get proud new Texans! Welcome, Donald! Glad to have you and your beautiful family, man!
Proud to call this man my fellow American. Welcome home buddy.
When you taste American freedom you don't want anything to do with CCP or the Democrats 😂😅
Everyone has the right to bear the guns during Mao’s period and CCP banned guns after June 1989

He's a Chinese Citizen... not a US Citizen.

@@davidwei536 actually, that's ALL that matters. He is NOT a US Citizen, holds no allegiance to the US and can pick up and leave anytime he feels fit. Why are you so pro-China? Just the idea he can come here, take land, and have American Citizens protect him boils my blood.
I laughed so hard when he said everything's bigger in Texas he's right LOL
I'm basically the Indian version of this dude. This is the dream.
So your Indian. That's O.G. American. Jk

This guy can come to my barbecue anytime. A true American Citizen!!! He really adopted our way of life. I love that he loves it here so much. And whatever your stance, guns are a lot of fun. Much respect to Donald. He seems like the kind of guy I wanna drink beers with by a campfire, anyone else feel that way?

The man is a realist --like most of Americans(I think)
Yeah and in real life multiple attackers don’t wait their turn to fight you
Love it, I like to see people from another nation coming here and embracing it. Enjoy your new found freedom. Many Americans can learn from these men. They aren’t even from here and act more American than we do!!
only America allows its citizens to buy guns freely, for those who outside the US, it's a dream that they never achieve in their lifetime. Americans talking about the gun ban is only because you people take it for granted. Once you ban it, people will know the value of guns.
Chetan Krishna gun violence is bad but id much rather die by a gun than get chopped up by a machete

As an Asian American and Catholic, I respect all regardless of race, religion, and sexuality because we are all human and creations of God.
This makes me smile. China isn’t the best place to be right now, and hearing him say that he’s not stressed and he has peace here in America really makes me happy for him.
Why can't we get more migrants like this man in America! I wish every single person in this world who wants to be a free American, support and love our constitution, and become a true red blooded American can come to this incredible country! These are the people we need! This warms my heart, God bless this man!
Cyrus the great I guess he would rather have more like him compared with those who are unassimilated.
@Cyrus the great what you gonna do about it tough guy?
Cyrus the great Are u 100% Native American? If not then you are basically just the same as this guy. 99% of the population in the US are immigrants, Donald Trump is pure German... You said just cuz he’s shooting guns and owns lands, that doesn’t make him an American. Ok I agree, but what makes someone an American then? Nothing, unless you actually are one which there’s only less than 1% in the country🤦🏻♂️.
@Cyrus the great I mean, your country needs immigrants just to fill the jobs. Comparably, most of the Democrat immigration are uneducated and unassimiliatable. Meanwhile there are these immigrants who actually become American and doesn't change America very much
@Cyrus the great Nothing to do with Christian values but I something to do with fairness. The Democrats want Affirmative Action against East Asian American, tried to cut their allowance number in universities and give those seats to African and Latino. If you are Chinese or Korean, you need to earn 300 more on SAT than an African to compete with him right now, and the Democrats want to exaggerate that even more. Pretty sure that the Democrats and liberal never care how this country is doing, they are willing to put shit people to replace better ones as long as they get votes
The most important thing that won't get discussed is that "as long as you have money" comment. If you have money/buy property you can skip ahead in the visa/immigration process. There are more people in the USA on expired visas than cross the border illegally.
Yesss thank you! Read my comment, you'll probably agree as well!
Well if the person is financially stable and can actually invest and contribute to the local economy then it's understandable they'd be skipped ahead. It's the same for most countries as well. Agreed on the expired visa though
@@treefiddy727 Right? God forbid we fast track the people who will immediately start contributing to the economy.
@@treefiddy727 Some of the people "investing" are actually money laundering. You seem like the type to care more about low level crime though. ICE isn't chasing down those people on expired visas I doubt they are paying taxes so it's not about who's "contributing" or who's in the US illegally.
@@AcerbicOrder I'm sorry man but you went on an off the deep end tangent there. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand why someone like Mr. Chen (educated, financially well off) would be fast tracked in the visa process. From what I understand you think it's part of some white collar criminal conspiracy.
"after all this time I really feel like I'm a Texan"
You are Donald, you are.
He's as american as apple pie!
We need more immigrants like this
idk where you live but at this point 50% of the US is like this lol
LEGAL immigrants, too. Like him, starting a business here, pay tax dollars, create opportunities and willing to assimilate into the culture.
xDAZZE I’m Canadian. I want to move to Texas as well but it’s near impossible for me because I’m not a skilled worker and don’t have any family in the US. I’ve already got my education as well. I’m just a cop, so America doesn’t want me. The government only wants doctors and engineers and shit to immigrate.
Last I checked pie was egyptian but i get ur point
@Kevin Chen did you mean to say consisting, rather than consenting?
guns are indeed the american dream. it's a right that most other people in the world do not have access to, even some americans
@Home Home That's not true . In Europe crime has skyrocketed in the past 8 years and we cannot defend ourselves except for Switzerland (they can own guns).
I am pleased to see an immigrant come to America who understands and embraces what is Truly Great about America.

facts👍
When a Chinese man is more American than you 😔
It's interesting how, when speaking Chinese, he says "American dream" in English.
"Mei Guo Mong" does not has as much "umph" as AAAmerican Dreeeam
Because it's an actual coined phrase. Equivalent of Americans saying "Bon voyage!" - it wouldn't sound or feel right if we say "Good journey!"
“Do you want more?” You don’t even have to ask a gun fanatic that question
I think that means do you want the local gun store to call you to tell you the *insert gun make model/series you would want to purchase is here.
