I feel like this music is about your loved one's fading away and you were left alone, and instead of waiting for someone to fix you, you learned to smile again and learned it's ok not to be okay and bought a cat since your therapist said it's good to have a pet when you live alone. now you are living your life, several years passed you are diagnosed with a disease and you don't have many days left instead of panicking and crying you enjoyed those days and died peacefully and even tho it seems like a sad ending it isn't because you learned to live again.
i am personally a dark academia person but my sister used to be light academia before she passed, listening to this makes me feel so connected to her, so I thank you for that!!
