The South Africans are more KhoiSan than we are. They are smaller at birth, but more compensate for it with better nutrition. Also, you cannot lie about the age. There are tests that can be done on the bones, that expose you if you try to cheat on the ages of your players. Why do you think Nigeria no longer is a factor at this level? When these under 17 tournaments started, Nigeria went and clobbered the world. Ghana soon followed suit. However, once a method for establishing the age of a player was put in effect, both Nigeria and Ghana disappeared from being factors became mere participants...

In the end, this does not really matter. Two below average teams played each other, and one of them won. Neither would be much of a factor in the Under-17 World Cup. Again, as I have said, FAZ needs to stop wasting money buying dumb GPS devices. They need to dispatch a technical team to North Korea to find out how youth development, particularly of girls, is being done there. As you know, North Korea, whose per capita income is exactly the same as Zambia's, won both the Under-17 and Under-20 women's World Cups this year, running through all the powers of this world such as the US, Argentina, Spain etc...We need to find out what the North Koreans are doing, and do it in Zambia. Stop wasting our precious money on schemes that yield mediocrity. We cannot do player development as it is done in Europe, the US and South America. We do not have money or other means to splash around everywhere all of the time. There is a way things, particularly in socialist countries, have always been done. This is how Cuba dominated such sports as volleyball, track and field and wrestling... Send someone to North Korea. We need to be the first to find out what is going on there. I know North Korea is not the sexiest place to go to, but we are not going there for sex, we are going there for work.
