What I find confusing and still don't know the answer: is Christ the SON of God or is He God? If He is God, does that mean God came down and was crucified? Does it mean Christ was talking to Himself in prayer? Is He sitting at His own right hand?
The trinity is hard for our limited human minds to understand. Faith is trusting in God, Lord Jesus Christ when we don’t understand and when we cannot see. My understanding is that Jesus is 100% God and 100% man and came to save us from ourselves and reconcile us to father God. This is absolutely nothing we can do on our own. He is our creator and we are His creation. Thank you Lord Jesus for granting me belief(Philippians 1:29 and granting me repentance 2Timothy2:25) and repentance and for forgiveness of my sins for redeeming and reconciling me to Father God. Praise be to God forever and ever Amen

"It's about having faith" That could seem somewhat ignorant, the NT disciples used scripture to defend their beliefs ..a prime example would've been Apollos - he debated with the Pharisees in the synagogues and no doubt the trinity would've been debated also as they would've had a strict monotheistic belief over centuries, to then have it challenged by the Apostles and disciples of Christ. Isn't it worth studying the Scriptures on the Godhead? look at how trinitarians explain it so you have a more solid foundation on the core beliefs?
