I've got 'em, tough as nails, dragged the bike sideways around on them a few times - no damage. Love them - got the tank and roll bag too. And a 12 litre base pack.

Are they easy to take off and on? If they are difficult to take off , do they have a removable inside bag that can taken with?

Super easy on and off. They way they are designed, all the straps stay with the bag and nothing is left on the bike. Just un clip two front clips. They don't come with any inner bags.

bought these and they are really great. Light, simple, flexibel, waterproof, big if you need ,small if you need and sturdy if you drop the bike. And very affordable.

awesome panniers....super light, durable and waterproof. The dimensions of the bag are perfect....easy to pack odd shaped items...no wasted space. If you see a softbag with more rectangular dimensions, think carefully before buying. Depending on what you're packing, you may not be able to utilize the advertised space.

I took the Monsoon 3 on a good 'hike' out on the V-strom a while ago. Noticed that its hard to fit on there but when its on, its great!
I made a little review about it :)

bought these for my T120 as i wanted something i could carry my laptop and gym equipments which are particularly big like a lever belt and a pair of squat shoes. surprisingly it still had space to fit in after that. it was also super simple to take off and put on the bike.
they also offer shoulder straps as an add on which i highly recommend because they are comfortable but it's still carryable with the handle on the bag itself. i can forsee my future purchases will be the base pack 12l and the water bottle attachment.

What's the point of putting a difficulty meter if all the ones you show have the same level? In addition, the choice of level is very arbitrary, because compared to rigid suitcases, they are more complicated to install.

I just bought these... BUT, I wonder if ANYBODY knows of a great way to LOCK THEM UP (so nobody will steal them) while traveling... Anybody know of a good way to secure soft luggage to your bike while traveling? Thanks!

That's the disadvantage of soft luggage. There's really no good, easy way to lock them to the bike. -DrewZilla

One knife and it's quickly robbed

As other said, you can use a cable lock, but a box cutter will make quick work of a soft bag. That is the one big disadvantage compared to hard cases. Same goes for any kind of soft luggage vs hard. Personally I think you're better off not trying to lock soft luggage. Just draws attention and makes bad guys want to know what you have in there.

which one would be more waterproof and ADV between enduristan and sw-motech? can't decide for myself

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

It depends to which SW-Motech bags you're comparing, as SW-Motech makes both waterproof and non-waterproof saddlebags (as well as waterproof hard cases). The Enduristan bags use waterproof tarpaulin for the outer construction, while SW-Motech uses waterproof inner liners for their Dakar saddlebags. These SW-Motech saddlebags also require bike-specific racks, in order to mount the saddlebags. The Enduristan saddlebags are a throw-over style. The advantage of the Enduristan saddlebags is that the outer tarpaulin does not soak up water. However, if you have a tip-over and tear through the tarpaulin, then the bag is no longer waterproof (unless the tear is small enough to be patched with a vinyl patch kit). With the SW-Motech saddlebags I mentioned, you can tear the outer material and generally leave the waterproof liner intact and watertight. -DrewZilla

Wonder if these would fit on my Harley Sportster?

    • @RevZilla

Yes, they should fit your Sportster, but you will probably still need to use saddlebag supports on the bike. -DrewZilla

Of all the soft dry luggage you have seen which ones would you highly recommend on a Yamaha T7 for the TAT?
    I do not like racks.
    Best bang for buck?

    • @RevZilla

Some of this comes down to personal preference, but the kit I have sold multiple TAT riders and gotten rave reviews about is the Dryspec setup:
      www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dryspec-d20-drybag-saddle-bags
      www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dryspec-d38-rigid-drybag
The D20 bags are tight enough to the bike they do not require any bracketry, and the D38 perches horizontally on top of them perfectly. Additionally, the material is tough enough to handle whatever you can throw at them.

Ridiculously expensive for me. Dry bags and duffle bags do the same with bungee cords for attachment cost a fraction of that Money.

hello what frames do you need to install to install these bags?
    thank you

Some bikes with enough surface area at the tail section don't require racks, e.g. the KTM 990 ADV. Otherwise, these can be mounted to most any rack designed for your bike. -DrewZilla
