Honestly Tory got off easy in the beginning I would’ve reported her ass since who are the cops going to believe? As the girl has a crappy record already which was further added by the school fight and she broke into their house damaging property.
The thing that irks me with Tory is that she complains about other people having it made but when offered genuine help she turns it down. I completely understand when it comes to "earning your own" things but Amanda wanted to help Tory for reasons ranging from motherly instinct/protection to trying to somewhat make amends for getting Tory in trouble (albeit Tory did snap at the customer unnecessarily). I'm hoping that Tory will perhaps mature and, after some help with obvious anger management issues, learn that accepting help is never a sign of "weakness".
She resented being pitied more than anything. She was already mad about everything else and then she finds a little grocery bag outside her house and she was reminded she wouldn't have needed the help if a confrontation wasn't forced at her job. She does have an arc this season though.
I was thinking when Shawn showed up again, 1.) He was a really dynamic character in season 3 so I am happy for any reason to tie him in. 2.) he and Kenny don't look at all alike though. 3.)
