Did you adust the trim tabs at all, since i was able to get 48MPH bone stock! I just ordered the same prop as you from Chirs but its a 2-week delivery which is ok! Thanks for the heads up on DasBoata! As soon as I GET MY new Prop from Chris, and update rudder to s dual pick up one from BoatBitz and some bigger Upgrade dual trim tabs. I will be posting a video as soon as my Dynamite GPD Speed Meter comes in on my new TH-cam channel.
@@MrMad2424 I think you have to have a pc to download the software which I own a MAC.LOL... No worries, i HAVE small HP Laptop for my 150 gallon reef tank I can use! I did another run today and turned my trim tabs up a little but still stuck @ 90KHM's until I get that Supersonic3 prop from #Dashbota...
Thanks! I get my props from Chris Hoffmann (dasboata) dasboata.com is his website but it's best to figure out what you want and email him at dasboata@aol.com The boat don't come with batteries You need 2x3s or 1 6s lipo in the 5,000-6.000mAh range with at least a 50c discharge rating. Roaring Top, Revolectrix, and SMC are good trustworthy brands.
That's pretty warm for stock passes. Seemed to have stayed planted in the water moreso than other videos I've seen. Is the water warmer there or have you got any ideas why it was running warm? My Zelos runs pretty cool, cooler at higher speed. First run I saw 94° +/- but I was barely going more than 25-30. When I got comfortable with it and hitting it's full speed I was seeing 65°+/-. I'm getting this boat for my brother and curious if you've made and changes to the strut angle or the trim tabs?
It was about 95 that day. I'm ok with temps as long as motor is under 140 and escape under 150 while running through a pack . Yes I had to 're adjust everything on this boat to get it to run stable.
I left mine all stock and most of the time I run the stock prop as well. However the Rcboat Biz trim tabs and dual cooling rudder would be my choice if I were to upgrade it.
@@MrMad2424 Thx 4 the info those are the 2 exact upgrades i was interested in along with the ose flexrod....unfortunately rc blitz isnt currently shipping out of Aus and ose is out of stock
After looking at this boat & comparing it to the TFL Pursuit. The TFL looked better to me running 20mph faster than this hull design. I have not watched the higher speed vids you have on this Sonicwake yet but the pursuit looked alot more stable to me running 70mph.
Love your videos, made me get another after I lost my 17 recoil to a gator ... Could you do a vid of how you setup your boats (cats especially) strut angle . I pickuped a Bj 24, swapped in ose cable and strut and there 42mm prop. Added a 150a ese an 6s and she's movin but I'm sure I'm not doing the stock motor any favors ..check out my channel video isn't great but I'm working on my setup, thanks for the inspiration
My bet for a full stock boat was ........ 56 - 57 mph ...... 1.40 - 1.44 ........... sounding very high RPM but not unwinding enough .....If this prop could be modified by Chris for more pitch ( new cut ) boat could go 57 mph or more ........ even 58 mph ....!! Cheers !
I've not seen a boat that comes stock with a balanced and sharpened prop, that's awesome!
The prop was sharpened and balanced by dasboata. It came pretty well balanced but not very sharp.

I will definitely buy this boat after watching your videos 👍👍

MrMad2424 what all did you adjust?
Mine first time out was porpoising like crazy at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. Awesome boat tho!!!
Hey bud I just got this boat and I was wondering what batteries you recommend for it? if you can give me a link and type I would appreciate it.
These are good batteries. hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-battery-heavy-duty-5000mah-6s-60c-lipo-pack-xt-90.html

They should be back in stock soon.
What prop would you suggest for a bit higher top speed without causing excessive heat and killing the run time?
Octura x445
@@MrMad2424 Just ordered it, thanks for the info!
Great test run thanks for sharing

Pursuit is much more stable
what batterys are you running in it?
3s Revolectricx 70c 5000's I believe in this run
One heaven of a rooster tail!! Crazy awesome!
Thanks!
How do you switch from KM's to MPH on your dynamite gps logger?
download the dynamite gps software from Horizon Hobby and you can change it to mph with that.
@@MrMad2424 MANY THANKS AND KIND REGARDS FROM FL!

Thanks Skipper!!
Very nice!
Thanks!
Looks like a fun boat bro,may b the next one!!!
It's not too bad and definitely fun!
No as cool as the sun 70mph beast 🤣🤣... but still friggin fast man 😎👍🏽
Thanks!
I was thinking about esc 180 dynamite
The 160 dynamite esc is awesome. The 180 Seaking has known to have LVC kicking in prematurely issues.
Thanks. I can’t do stock on anything. Lol the 160 on the way. Now how to get this thing to handle like a Cadillac .
