I think superbowl 51 is oberated but thats just my opinion. Nice comment though. I can agree to all the others. Heres my favorite suoerbowls when it comes to over the top action, mome tum swings, great teams, and just in general a great game
5. Superbowl 38 very underated
4. Superbowl 51 Amazing comeback, but lacks a 1st half. Great ending tho
3. Superbowl 49. Most heartbreaking loss ever, and its amazing "its never over" ending
2. Superbowl 43 Greatest Ending of all time in my opinion. We have an underdog and 6x superbowl champions. Cards have a sequence of miracles (safety, and fitz touchdown) when everyone thought it was over. And then ben drives them 80 yards for a td. Also cant forget the 14 points swing pick six.
1. Suoerbowl 13 Most star studded superbowl ever. Whoever wins is first to win 3 superbowls and is pretty much crowned king of the 70s. Great game, only problem is that it lacks an amzung ending compared to the others though. It was basicly a super super bowl tbh though 😂

No. 2 I fell in love with the game and didn’t even know it. And No. 1 was my favorite sporting event ever. Favorite team came back against a star studded falcons team. Football will always make me emotional 🥺🏈
@@breiter4697 i know you posted a year ago, but i think its exactly because 51 had such a beatdown and boring first half that its the best ever. Absolutely no one thought the patriots would come back from 28-3 with like 20 minutes in the game. The complete flip of the game makes it the best imo.

Superbowl 52 was my favorite. Brady throwing for 500 yards and Nick Foles leading the Eagles was amazing. The game was competitive every second
Back and forth the whole game, high scoring that still had some nice defensive plays, the fact that the eagles had never won a SB. It is easily the best of all time

See as a life long Pats fan I obviously think it was the best ending but for the 1st 3 quarters I was miserable and didn't think it was a good game at all, if the Patriots weren't playing I most likely would've changed it by the 4th SB 38 against Carolina and 49 against Seattle were my favorites, even if the Pats weren't playing those would've been interesting games
Blessed to have seen all these games, but one of the more underrated Super Bowls in my opinion was the titans vs Rams, that game had a hell of an ending to it.

I’m so glad that 43 was featured so high, it usually gets underrated on these sorts of lists. I’m a Giants fan, and until the pats falcons super bowl, 43 was probably the best super bowl I had ever seen.

Agreed 👍. Elway's stats were mediocre. TD was MVP. The first thing I remembered was Favre and his penchant for soul crushing mistakes. A history that haunted his career.
I could talk about Super Bowl 51 for days. That was the best Super Bowl I've ever watched. Brings a smile to my face anytime I think about it, not even a Patriots fan either.

That Denver team had one of the most fearsome Defenses they were not just good they were lean and never got tired and you can see during the last quarter of the game Packers O lineman laid out on the field trying to catch their breath. That Giants team was a freight train and they had a tenacious Defense to but that Offense was soo hard to predict with WRs running their own reads options pass hybrid and play action just a nightmare trying to stop them with the talent they had in position.

Super Bowl 42 will always be my favorite Super Bowl but a lot of that is because it's the perfect ending to a truly magical season for the Giants. The way that Super Bowl went down is like the ending of a really really good movie.

Bro, you cannot beat Super Bowl 42. GOAT super bowl. The Giants, a 10-6 wild card team with a middling QB, but great defense, who had already lost to the undefeated Pats in the final week of the regular season, see them again in the super bowl. The Patriots are undefeated, first team to ever go 16-0, with probably the most complete team in NFL history. The game is a defensive, battle with just enough action to keep the game interesting, then in the 4th quarter down 4, the Tyree catch and the way they drove down the field. Magical. That is peak NFL football right there. Any given Sunday. Also, people forget because of the incredible comeback, but 51 was actually a pretty boring game for the 1st 3 quarters because the Falcons seemed to be blowing the Patriots out.
This was in my recommend so I didn't even know how early I was

That Seattle goal like pass will live in infamy for the Hawks, but God damn will that moment forever be relived for Malcolm Butler. I hate the Pat's, but seeing how emotional Butler was, you could tell what it mean't to him as a player and that's pretty cool. Also..Brady is the G.O.A.T, hands down. I respect what he does on the football field, and I'm kinda interested in seeing what the Bronk connection and the Bucs can do with all those weapons and a hell of a head coach. I'm not even a Buc's fan, I'm a Saints fan and they're in our division.

king mace Recency bias is definitely a thing. That's why you see games like SB 38 nowhere near this list, when at the time people were saying "Best SuperBowl ever?".
I do wonder which Pats SuperBowl will stand the test of time. I think it depends on the success of the opponent they played. If Russel or Ryan drop off like Delhomme, maybe those wins will look less impressive in retrospect? IDK. Eli being Eli seems to have already dropped SB42 down. =/
