Edward: *Narrating his life* James: "Shut the f**k up, Edward!" Edward: *Moment of silence* "No." Henry: *Knocks Edward out* Edward: *"I awoke several hours later in a daze."*
It’s extremely rare for the non-faceless vehicles on this channel to blow their whistles, honk their horns or ring their bells that when they do it’s always kind of a surprise.
That bit with James and Edward is very amusing, especially the latter objecting to the former. And hold/watch your tongue, James! Edward's supposed to be narrating all this! It's what he does, you know that. So deal with it!
For me, there are many good narrators. Michael Angelis, Ringo Starr, Victor Tanzig and also David Odgen Stiers from the opening scene of Disney's original Beauty and the Beast, to name a few.
Best UK narration: Ringo Starr and Michael Angelis. Best US narration: George Carlin. Worst US narration: Alec Baldwin (seriously, he sounded like he put NO effort into it whatsoever).
I can probably think of a few best narrators from 1 or 2 of childhood shows! 1. Michael Angelis (Thomas & Friends, S3 - S16.) 2. Tim Whitnall (Classic Teletubbies) 3. Daniel Rigby (The Teletubbies 2015 reboot) 4 Rolf Saxon (Classic Teletubbies US dub)
Edward's just gonna continue narrating from here on, despite what he just said about not wanting to do it much longer. And Eric probably wouldn't even be better than him at it anyway.
Ringo Starr- He absolutely shines in Season 2 and his narration got me into the Beatles George Carlin- It says a lot when someone who is known for his profane comedy really enjoyed his work on a kid’s show. Best American narrator by far. Michael Angelis- I absolutely love this guy in Seasons 3-6. Alec Baldwin- Hilarious in Season 5, but lackluster in Season 6. Michael Brandon- He’s fine, but some of his character voices are really off. Pierce Brosnan- He did a good job narrating The Great Discovery, and I kind of wish his narrations were what we got for Season 12 (even though it’d still be a bad season). Mark Moraghan- Good narrator for the Brenner era that is a breath of fresh air from the monotonous narration of the Nitrogen era.
Well Eward, Why don't you let Victor Tanzig do the Narrating and if Gordon, Henry, & James tries to give him a hard time, he'll make them regret it since he's in charge of the videos.
Eric is hopeless at cooking! As a narrator. Oh Blimey!! He's possibly going to be a catastrophe as a narrator! Victor, you and Edward are experienced. Eric !?!? Oo 'eck! I suppose you could try Richard!?!! ( I can guess what most of you guys out there will say " Who's Richard??" A creation of Marenka for his railway series stories - quite a popular character too! Though unlike Eric - he is, erm!! Less accidental and but still clumsy! )
Very good job dudes and well done!!! Congratulations 994.94% yo throughout the 5th sizzling week of said joyous June y'all. Underrated opinion, but George Carlin is the best narrator of T&F.
You know the special non faceless vehicles Neil, Clive and Matthew were supposedly built in 1856 but turned 100 in 1965 so did they die in 1865 and rebuilt and thought they were built in 1865
Michael Brandon - easy rock bottom for me. His voice felt grating, and didn’t suit the characters when he read their dialogue at all. Michael Angelis - absolute top dog for me. Not only was his narration pleasant to listen to, but also, as Thomasfan261 says, there were so many times when he could have up and left the role, but didn’t. Heck, he just kept on coming back until he finally left for good before Series 17 - and even then, that was just because he simply got old, and had done the role FOR OVER 20 YEARS!!!!
What if Edward said and then James proceeded to explode into a million pieces and then James explodes into millions of pieces with a look of shock on his face
That “shut the FUCK up” was really personal
Fr
On God 😂
Edward narrating his life is sort of like Peter Griffin
"I awoke several hours later in a daze"
I was wondering if that part was a direct reference to that Family Guy bit 😄
Its the pause before Edward says "no" that kills me. I dont know why but its just so funny to me 😅
"Shut the fuck up Edward!"
"No"
"I said defiantly. I resumed my train of thought... pun partially intended."
@@DanknDerpyGamer”James continued to glare at me”
@@christianasuncion”Even Henry’s face turned into a frown”
@@mari_golds-bleeding-ink ”I had a sinking feeling the pair planned to do something very painful to me, and I was right.”

Why does this feel like a family guy joke
Probably cause of the line, "I awoke several hours later in a daze."
Because it is
It is
that was unexpected
Edward: *Narrating his life*
James: "Shut the f**k up, Edward!"
Edward: *Moment of silence* "No."
Henry: *Knocks Edward out*
Edward: *"I awoke several hours later in a daze."*
Why am I suddenly reminded of Family Guy for some reason?🤣
A certain Peter Griffin cutaway, perhaps? 😂
@@ARTSONICFAN990 Bingo!👍
All the other narrators were good but George Carlin's my favorite and will always be my favorite
Hey. Edward's a good narrator. Also, I love the narrator from Word Girl.
Same. Word Girl was such a good show.
@@inevitableanarchy4203 Hell yeah. 😎👍
Underrated opinion, but George Carlin is the best narrator of T&F, and this is coming from a pure brit
I like him too
I agree he is the best
Yes. Between him Alec and Ringo he had the most diverse range of voices for the engines
Agreed. Consistent, never dull, and surprisingly good at Scottish accents.
1. George Carlin
2. Alec Baldwin
3. Michael Angelis
4. Ringo Starr
5. Michael Brandon
6. Pierce Brosnan
7. Mark Moraghan.
It’s extremely rare for the non-faceless vehicles on this channel to blow their whistles, honk their horns or ring their bells that when they do it’s always kind of a surprise.
I love that all the engines break the 4th wall its funny 😂
Ha! And this how the engines feel when Edward is the narrator for Stories of Sodor!
The best narrator I've heard is...Michael Angelis!
Worst....Thomas in S22-24 (Note: Thomas is my 3rd favourite character of the show).
0:45 - At First I thought this was stock footage from Relationships. But then I remembered there were no Trucks there
And especially since this story is about simps and girlfriends 👯♀️ 😂
The Rain, is the wettest part of nature
The best narrator ever
Michael Angelis.
Agreed.
Yep, the world is a sadder place with him gone.
You said it.
The best narrator in my opinion is Ringo Star for the classic Thomas series
When everyone is sick of Victor tanzig playing as Edward.
I love that family guy joke 😂
1:06 Family Guy reference
I like how you brought back the old “awkward sounding” stock music from seasons 1-3
Probably Alec Baldwin or Ringo Starr. Those are my 2 options
That bit with James and Edward is very amusing, especially the latter objecting to the former. And hold/watch your tongue, James! Edward's supposed to be narrating all this! It's what he does, you know that. So deal with it!
Sodor Answers: Can Non-faceless vehicles cause accidents to themselves?
Nice Family Guy reference with this one
First South Park, now Family Guy? Victor owns this community!
I really like Ringo Starr & Micheal Angelis are the best narrators of the Classic Original Series Thomas the Tank Engine & series 1 to 7 1984 to 2003.
Who narrates their lives better, Edward or Peter Griffin?
Tie between Carlin and Baldwin as the Narrator for me. As for fan projects, A tie between you and NWR1991 as my favourite narrator.
Captain Star (Patrick Allen) is really good.
Eric: “What's a narrator?”
Edward: “Oh forget it…”
Me (off-screen): “A narrator is a person who tells stories when he is not seen anywhere…”
Wow James language jezz Louise😳😳😳😳
I think the best narrator is Michael Angelis. I used to think that he and Mark Moraghan sounded similar.
Mine is nicholas from the rail's of highland valley
We love you Eric.
I’ve heard many great narrators like Ringo Starr, Michael Angelis, Oliver Postgate, and others.
For the best narrator, I'd say Ringo Starr because of my childhood watching Thomas
For me, there are many good narrators. Michael Angelis, Ringo Starr, Victor Tanzig and also David Odgen Stiers from the opening scene of Disney's original Beauty and the Beast, to name a few.
I guess the best narrator I ever heard was the narrator (Roscoe Lee Browne) from Babe.
James is a simp for Rosie now I've seen everything
Best UK narration: Ringo Starr and Michael Angelis.
Best US narration: George Carlin.
Worst US narration: Alec Baldwin (seriously, he sounded like he put NO effort into it whatsoever).
I assume you mean Season 6 Alec Baldwin? Cause he still did well though in Season 5.
How did Edward not explode from falling on the explosive vans
I can probably think of a few best narrators from 1 or 2 of childhood shows!
1. Michael Angelis (Thomas & Friends, S3 - S16.)
2. Tim Whitnall (Classic Teletubbies)
3. Daniel Rigby (The Teletubbies 2015 reboot)
4 Rolf Saxon (Classic Teletubbies US dub)
Speaking Of Narrator Would You Ever Have Henry Narrate an episode of stories of Sodor Victor?
The joke is similar to what Mr.AtheHedgehog did in " The Adventures of Sodor"
Great sodor Short 👍😮
Maybe you ought to consider writing on a diary instead, Edward. 😆😜
Edward forget anything anyone says I want you to keep narrating no matter what .
1:05 I'm surprised those gunpowder vans didn't explode.
Coool
Sounds like, now Victor should really bring back Thomas, he’d be a better narrator old iron.
Wonder if victor would do an adaptation of the audio horrors of the series
My favorite narrator is Edward from the stories of Sodor
funny
Cool
There's quite a few good Narrators; David Tennant, Morgan Freeman, Willie Rushton, even Bill Nye!
These stories are so funny
Note to self: never trust Eric with the narrating 🤣🤣🤣
Edward just quit his job
Edward's just gonna continue narrating from here on, despite what he just said about not wanting to do it much longer. And Eric probably wouldn't even be better than him at it anyway.
My favorite Thomas and Friends narrator is a classic series American narrator and my favorite narrator of all time is Morgan Freeman
You should know, Eric! It's the guy who tells the story.
Funny quoting family guy 😅
Ringo Starr- He absolutely shines in Season 2 and his narration got me into the Beatles
George Carlin- It says a lot when someone who is known for his profane comedy really enjoyed his work on a kid’s show. Best American narrator by far.
Michael Angelis- I absolutely love this guy in Seasons 3-6.

Me when the narrator in the Wildbrain Caillou remaster episodes doesn't shut up over the most obvious being shown on the screen.
yes, I narrated a schools fight over a mega-phone.
I got detention from it.
Worth It!
Micheal angelis is the best narrator
1:16 Eric: What’s a narrator???
Well Eward, Why don't you let Victor Tanzig do the Narrating and if Gordon, Henry, & James tries to give him a hard time, he'll make them regret it since he's in charge of the videos.
That Family Guy reference
Lol
George Carlin is the best US narrator and Michael Angelis is the best UK narrator ,the worst Narrator was Michael Brandon.
I'd say George Carlin is easily the best narrator for Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends.
If it's the original TV series, the best narrator would be Ringo Starr. And for the Railway Series, it's Willie Rushton.
My favorite actor would probably be Michael Brandon
I was surprised there was a family guy joke here
For me,Ringo Starr is the best UK and US narrator for Thomas and Friends season 1.
George Carlin.
Technically, the difference between a man with eyes for one girl and a simp is self explanatory
Eric is hopeless at cooking! As a narrator. Oh Blimey!! He's possibly going to be a catastrophe as a narrator! Victor, you and Edward are experienced. Eric !?!? Oo 'eck! If you ask me, the best narrators will always be Ringo Starr and George Carlin!
Ringo starr. He’s scouse and a musician.
Peter Griffin, anyone?
Michael Angelis was my favorite narrator for Thomas and friends. My least favorite? Probably Mark Morragan.
Good video, Victor.
Make all of dnd characters
1:05 how the heck did that gunpowder van explode?
You know the special non faceless vehicles Neil, Clive and Matthew were supposedly built in 1856 but turned 100 in 1965 so did they die in 1865 and rebuilt and thought they were built in 1865
Yeah give us a episode where Eric narrates it
Victor tanzig is the best ttte narrator
Best narrator? Probably a tossup between Johnny Morris and Ted Robbins.
Just out of curiosity @VictorTanzig when is the next stories of sodor or is it over.
Question: do the engines of sodor receive some form of payment for jobs like humans do?
Narrator: Ringo Starr
Character Voices: George Carlin
BWBA in a nutshell
I actually been kinda thinking that and thought it would make more sense if it was Thomas as a narrator
Michael Brandon - easy rock bottom for me. His voice felt grating, and didn’t suit the characters when he read their dialogue at all.
Michael Angelis - absolute top dog for me.
