    Funny you mention that about the left foot braking!! I have a 2019 RS1. After a very hard day of riding,,, and using left brake WAYYYYY to much,,, i found myself in limp mode. Luckily at the end of the ride. Brought it in, under warranty, and thats exactly what shop tech told me. I have been taking it a little easier, and have had no issues since. But between that left brake, and throttle steering, its the funnest toy ive ever owned, hands down!!

      We just got back from Hatfield McCoy trails and mine did a throw a CEL a couple times because i got a bit lazy with my left foot (not fully lifting), but once the CEL popped up and I got my foot off the brake for a few seconds, it cleared. Agree... most fun I’ve had on four wheels.

    You definitely got to snorkel that mine kept blowing belts and water was running in that hose and getting belt wet don't know why polaris did that

    Nice machine! Tree kickers powder coated white might be a nice added touch to the front and rear bumpers!

    Nice looking machine my wife and I have the white lighting's great machines. One thing that you might be interested in that I have done to ours though is full windshields wither wiper and 3.5 gallon water tank and high pressure washer both controlled in the steering wheel. and a remote coiled hose for washing off whatever great feature.And yes shock therapy a must you won,t be disappointed with that upgrade for sure.

      Thank you. I really wanted a white 2019. I have a white lightning 2018 XP as well. Interesting windshield set up you've described; sounds like it would work well. And no doubt on Shock Therapy.

      @@DirtyRoosterOffroad yea it works great have it installed on both machines and a buddy of mine did it as well where do u normaly ride we go to HMT quite a bit fact going here in a few weeks. One other thing wanted to mention to you it would be wise for you to remove the rear axels on your rs1 and never size or grease the living H OF THE SPLINES ON THEM they will seize in there tighter than a grommet in a ducks🤣 behind if you dont.

    The rs1 has a spot all the way on the back of the roof in the cab to store an extra belt

      Yeah. Saw that, but would want a case or something to keep it clean.

    Great video, I’m late to the party... just realized Polaris makes a 1 seater. You’d think others would.

    • @DirtyRoosterOffroad
      @DirtyRoosterOffroad  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. According to some dealers, it's a very niche product as most people in the market for a sxs plan on having a passenger. I've heard others say it's mostly purchased by folks that already have a two seater and just want a machine they can run like a fool and not worry about scaring the crap out of their passenger. Great machine and TONS of fun!

      @@DirtyRoosterOffroad My reason for purchasing the single seater was price for one and now i dont have to deal with drunk passengers.

    If you replace stock shocks will that increase your weight load?

    • @DirtyRoosterOffroad
      @DirtyRoosterOffroad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Technically, no. From a structural standpoint, we have to assume Polaris based their limit on the strength of the frame and where the suspension attaches. What you can do is customize your suspension for the weight of machine, with all accessories and you in it, to ensure the best handling and recover your ride height. Typically, these limits are conservative, so there's likely a bit of margin in the payload limit. I can tell you I'm pushing that limit with the cargo. That said, the car works really well with the Shock Therapy dual rate spring kit.

    What is the overall length after bumpers and winch added? My trailer is very small and wondering if it will fit.

    • @DirtyRoosterOffroad
      @DirtyRoosterOffroad  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      116” or more precisely, 115.875”. Just measured the front and rear track as well - to the bulge on the sidewalls. Front is 70.375” and rear is 69”. Rear is more narrow since Polaris manufactures these with less hub to hub width back there and puts on a wider wheel/tire. A square set up without spacers will always result in a more narrow rear track.

    • @mikejasper430
      @mikejasper430 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DirtyRoosterOffroad Thank you! That is super helpful. Do you think both bumpers are necessary? I know I need a winch. I wonder if rear bumper is needed. with both bumpers I have no wiggle room.

    • @DirtyRoosterOffroad
      @DirtyRoosterOffroad  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn’t ride without them, but some in our group ride with none without incident. It’s a lot cheaper and easier to replace a bumper than plastics, metal structure, exhaust, radiator, etc.

    lotf of mud ridding and no double ott door extensions or xl fender flares? Mine coats me in mud the second i touch it

    • @DirtyRoosterOffroad
      @DirtyRoosterOffroad  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep and nope. No issue with getting muddy. I’ve considered the double otts, but don’t care enough yet. No way to the XXL flares. Maybe mud busters eventually.
