This is such an amazing and stupid run! I love it! Although I'm a bit surprised you didn't do either of the floor 10 cuts. The ice on floor 4, the whole of floor 13, incredible stuff! Not the fastest time possible, but incredible nonetheless!
There was a bit of contention on whether floor 10 cuts actually save time, iirc
@Timur the cut on floor 10 that goes directly to snake area saves almost 2 min. It is the biggest skip in entire map

After watching Wirtual crawl through the ice on floor 4 with 15 mph for 60 hours, that part caught me completely off guard! Really funny stuff
i dont think this is meant to be an optimized speedrun. theres a bit of goofing around on the pits and stuff. theres a point where he literally turtles and needs to re-right himself. very cool none the less.
he also stopped to pray (optimal)

People actually beat this thing? I'm not familiar with track mania, but I thought there's only a restart option that starts the entire race at the beginning
@@HuslWusl you’re right there are no check points in this map, but some people have completed this map with a safer route than this video

I’ve never understood why people really want to see someone else’s reaction to something so badly. Like can’t you react for yourself, do you really need someone else’s reaction to know how you must react yourself or what is the deal?
@@sebsio To see.. how someone else react in comparison to yourself? Why make it about how you are supposed to react? This is one of the most genuinely autistic things I have read in a while. People are curious how others they respect their opinion of react to things, this is nothing new.
@@sebsio Because in some situations, we don't fully grasp the extent of what makes a feat incredible. Sure it looks impressive, but we're just normies and a normal completion of the map is also impressive since we didn't invest thousands of hours getting better at the game. Having the perspective of an "expert" is insightful. I don't enjoy reactions very much, but when the person reacting gives context and explains things, it adds a ton of value to an already impressive video. So stop acting so high and mighty, not all people are sheep, and even if they were, let them enjoy themselves, they're not harming anyone

The yellow plastic level is just pure insanity. This may not be the fastest possible way to finish, but it sure is the most entertaining!
The snake region gave me so much anxiety I couldn't help but laugh in fear.

TAS is so good! I don't think I've ever seen a game TAS hasn't gotten WR on.
I only have a couple hours in this game, but you made it look so easy I almost believed I could do this too
There were a lot of little skips here and there that I wasn’t even aware of. Great job overall. Only major issue I saw was like others mentioned was magnet yeet on 10. There were minor oddities here and there that looked slower like random 360s and hit pole in backwards position on floor 1.
This is one of THE most scariest and nerve racking TAS’s I have seen. Good job on giving me trauma.
I love that wry plastic is still so awful that the TAS parks for like 6-10 seconds on the run to dry them iff

Really thought he was going to fail
In my head this is an extreme noob just touching the game for the first time. They heard about this "Deep Dip" challenge and this is their first attempt. They're very confused about why everyone says this is so hard because the just winged it and it worked out.

But after seeing the landing at 3:30 I understood what is going to happen.

@@daniellostlund They don't elaborate or give info on what tool they used for the TAS, other than that it is private. One possible limitation of the tool could be that it is very slow to test new inputs late into the TAS, but idk. I'd be curious to learn more about it, though I'd prob be too lazy to do anything with it were it not private.

On one hand it's a very impressive demonstration of how long and ridiculous this map truly is when played all the way through. And there are a few pretty cute moments of unnecessarily risky driving.
On the other hand, I was really hoping for some TAS only nose bug into plastic bounce skip three floors nonsense.

There are lots of secret route stuff like that around the map!
To me this seems almost like an RTA run. No nosebugs and huge reroutes just driving the inteded lines with full confidence. Obviously the bounces and tire clips are super risky and noone could ever calculate real time only pray but among TASes this one looks relatively tame.
