No program can regenerate bad sectors. Bad sectors are physical defects on the surface of the hard drive-small spots where the magnetic media has become pitted or is flaking off the surface of the disk. Nothing can repair it.
Yes, but few bad sectors can be locked. I have one bad sector in my drive. Looking for a video to lock that. Unfortunately Im not be able to find that.

then that means your data at those sectors will not be readable. Which means that if you try to clone the bad drive to a good drive it wont be able to read those sectors and cloning may fail and data at those bad sectors are courrpt

As far as I have been able to read up on, this APP only handles 'Bad Data' sectors. As in -> Not physically damaged parts as these obviously cannot be restored by a piece of software.
Furthermore, HDD Regenerator only lumps the 'content' of the 'Bad Data' sectors together (to the extent they can be handled) and move them to another location on the HDD, and so, kind of preventing files from being partially corrupted, as long as they are kept from the section of the HDD now containing the 'Bad Data lump'. As far as I am aware.
- To my knowledge Bad Data sectors that are not caused by physical damage can only be removed by a data sweep like formatting. There may be tools designed to handle those kinds of sectors without fully formatting your HDD. None springs to mind though. - Comment merely based on personal experience, I'm by no means schooled or educated on this matter.

Very slow ...means your hdd infected many bad sector and hdd plater also bad...so i think u may replace new hdd....thank you

Does it really take too long? I waited for hours and only recovered 46 bad sectors so far, 6MB scanned and 0% in progress
It means your Hard disk may be damage (many bad sectors) you can replace new hdd...thank you
