@@User25859I don’t think a subathon is a twitch thing, streamers just add a timer that increases when someone subs. In the clip he accidentally took an hour off the timer when he was changing the amount per sub.
@@User25859 subathon is not an official feature on Twitch, but it would be bad form for vedal if he just stopped the subathon without reaching the end of the timer, for obvious reasons. I'm not sure if gifted subs can be disabled on Twitch, but the point of a subathon is to increase the timer every time there is a sub, so he has to make it add to the timer, no matter how small, or else it wouldn't be a subathon anymore.
After all of this is over i guess Vedal would be taking at minimum 1 week break from the internet. He still want to 'try' to complete Harrison Temple, and 'maybe' do something to his Abandoned Archive, might even work on Neuro's codes a little bit, figure out what upgrades he would do for her machine etc. He doesnt mind doing the two games on stream, but he is very secretive of Neuro's programming. Only time he could work on Neuro is when he is off.

I'm in the same timezone, went to bed somewhere around 01:00, I think the timer had actually dipped below 2 hours at that point (though obviously it went back up later) so I figured it'd end while I was sleeping. Not only was it still going when I woke up, the timer had barely budged, and it stayed like that until well into the afternoon :P So did you end up actually having to watch the VOD, or did you also catch the end after waking up?

Update: It is currently 13:33 in Italy. The timer has 12 minutes left. He really halved again the increase, it is now 5s per sub. He has 40588 subs. Considering each of them as a tier 1 sub, they cost 5€ each and half of that goes to Vedal, while half goes to Twitch. Which means he just earned 101.470€ in 16 days. To put in perspective, I would have to work for more than 6 years to earn that much. 8 Hours a day. I don't think he can complain
That is 3 perfect years of income for me. 2022 was 2nd perfect year in a row for me. Then, in 2023, the buying prices halved. February was not a happy month.
Yep I earn 1.400€ per month and here in Italy that's considered a decent salary. People who have worked for 30 years can expect to earn up to 1700€ per month, and since I am still an apprentice, I can't complain.
