i20/Nline is updated with features and interior looks more premium & has longest wheelbase (among Indian hatchbacks),so more cabin (and rear) space for Nline/i20.

Yes, when he said, Ghar walo ne kahan...the i20 is an all rounder as a family hatch. It has ample storage space, rear seat leg room, head room, adequate boot space, equivalent or more cabin space than a compact SUV. That's where polo can't match i20 and since, it has been discontinued, its parts availability will be a huge problem in the near future. Yes, Polo is a class in terms of performance but when a person puts his hard earned money, one looks at other qualities of the car apart from 0 to 100 performance.

I had a polo GT 1.6 tdi,what a beast it was. Sadly I had to sell it because of injector issues after 78k kms.
Polo TSI has all four windows anti pinch, tinted glass , one touch up down , better build quality and safety rating , service at every 15000 km, rain sensing wipers and returns milage of 19 km apart from awesome engine.
But poor headlight , no reverse camera is drawback.

I appreciate the honesty and large heart of the i20 owner to accept the result.
All those crying that VW hasn’t updated polo and discontinued it without giving a proper update should know three things.
1. Cars are designed to last long and doesn’t need an upgrade in the names of so called features every year .
2. Engine updating will only make the car to divert in a different segment and lose their potential customer.
3. Hyundai may offer cosmetic updates and other tech updates but mostly we as a consumer use these so called features less for the price we pay . Ex SUNROOF is used very less as compared to the extra bucks you pay for it.

id stilll say the 1.2 tsi with dsg was tghe bomb!! Not the aesthetic features, the engine!
But these reasons don't make up for the fact that vw literally used the same design kept hiking the price for the same for 10 years, no updates nothing. You cannot defend the fact that polo got proper updates and fscelifts and new features in other countries, but in our country vw didn't bother to even give fresh colors, that's just outright ridiculous!!!! What a shame vw is.

I love polo myself wish I would have the pleasure to own one someday but the i20 guy wasn't driving it the way he should've, not using paddle shifters , didn't launch it , using handbrake to launch .
So all I'm saying i20 n line can give the polo some serious competition and if driven by someone who knows how to drive can even beat a polo .
The n line is kinda like the performance lineup in hyundai cars. It have extra power than the regular car. But in the Indian version, they only changed the appearance and sound but did nothing much with the performance.

Hyundai dct aren't meant for performance, though dct is a performance oriented gearbox, but the way Hyundai has caliberated there gearbox isn't good for a performance hatchback.

@@archismanbanik8746 for suspension steering and looks and especially after 2k rpm n line is just lit..u can see topend performance of n line as it reaches more than 190kmph..initial lag is there but in highway n line handling is commandable and also it is unique

They like a manual one with power and performance. For that the VW polo GT and the FIAT abarth punto will always be the top choice for them. People who are into that won't choose a car with flashy interior and features and space and all. They'll rather go for the quickest one and safest one. VW and Punto abarth are more solid and have good built quality. Also note that one who knows Cars will choose a Toyota Supra over a Lamborghini Huracan.

Coz saare yahi manufacture horahe aur German car assemble hote India main. And Regarding Handling Polo is known for Aerodynamic.
