Amazing songs written by this talented humble man. Superb use of the English language, masterful poetry. Meekness and Majesty and Servant King two of my favourites. I remember him coming to our town in 1973 and singing his early songs. Footsteps on the Sea, Executioners song etc. Fantastic and his songs inspire me to worship.
Just happened to listen to this beautiful song....memories keep flashing back ,singing this song in our convention when we were kids. Thank you brother Graham.
God's great and perfect love - beautiful to sing, beautiful to listen. Beautiful to contemplate our Fathers wonderful love, care and provision- in Jesus.
❤ Great. It is a true gospel song that has rekindled my spiritual flame. I listen and listen again. I loved the phrase not to me but your will Lord. Thanks to you, singer of the Lord, may God bless you.
From the late 1970s and early 1980s, Graham's music has touched my life. This song The Servant King, was instrumental in my becoming a Christian - the images he painted of Jesus were so vivid and meaningful. I had believed there was no God. But after this song, I had to stop and take a closer look at the Savior. Thank you for writing your songs and putting all your heart into them Graham!
In a moment of emptiness I had the sudden urge to look up the music I remembered playing throughout my childhood. Graham, it was so often your beautiful music. I hadn’t heard this song for 20 years and now I’m lying hear and feeling peace and happiness. Thank you 🙏
I love Graham Kendrick: He Is a gifted write who's blessed me over all these years with God's presence.. Thank God of Music Studios like Maranatha, Integrity, Make a way music studio who has featured some these wonderful artists.
I just read chapter 8 (The obedient Master) of Tim Keller's "Encounters with Jesus" and was moved to look up this song because I couldn't remember all the words properly. The lyrics express so well what's in my heart. This song and chapter fit together perfectly. I also grew up with Graham Kendrick's songs and still find them such a blessing. "Meekness and Majesty" is my other favourite.
This song is everything!!! Beautifully composed. Evokes so many emotions of our God, His endless sacrifices, His service to us and that we are called to serve others...a simple task that can change all of mankind, no matter how big or small our contribution.
Blessings on Resurrection Day 2021! This song came to mind for Easter--still so beautiful and relevant; thank you! Our world would be transformed if Christians served our world as Jesus did!
This was our opening hymn in mass this morning ❤️ I struggle to sing along with the lump I get in my throat when I hear this song. The words are so moving!
I grew up listening to your songs in the 1980s. Worshipped with my family in Elim Pentecostal in South Wimbledon where we sang several of your songs. Did you ever visit the church by any chance in the late 80s?
😍 I used to sing this in primary school in the 90s. We sang it before the school day started, in assembly. ♥️ it is the song that stayed in my heart the most out of the whole hymn book. It comes into my head all the time 🥰 thank you for sharing it on your channel and keeping the song alive. I love it so much. ♥️ to God be the Glory.
What a unique school you attended , much fruit will come of that , I'm 71 and I still sing songs from my school assembly days , Yhey build strong lives ,Those great songs , 🎵
I love this song it always makes me cry. In my school the year sixes to a roleplay of the last supper and this has been the first song in it for years. It also shows that God sent jesus to serve us even though we serve him that is the reason he sent him to show us how to serve on and other and we all should do that.
His Majesty King Charles III, despite his billions, promised to serve, not to be served. I am a celibate man who writes books and serves his ageing parents while suffering anxiety from a stroke. Collecting royalties, I too am a servant king. I am crying uncontrollably.
Kendrick ok but flat screens dry ice smoke machines for phlare music sunbeam and the light rays sisters of mercy as the church needs to investmillions more into the arts and England 😉 should be less expensive for artists and please pray in love for this valuable job.
