I've struggled with "Reverses" ever since I started playing & learning bridge. Another excellent explanation. The first time that I've encountered a bidding ladder. What a great tool. Thanks.

Thank you Bridget ...... love your videos and clever presentation.
A little "typo error" on the bidding ladder was a little distracting .... 2NT should be 1NT and 3NT should be 2NT on the bidding ladder.
A video on the "Barrier Principle" would be much appreciated.

Bridget, You need to speak more loudly. I can barely hear you at full volume on my Imac computer. Thanks for your nice videos. Jim

    Occurs!
Could have mentioned how declarer knows you're not bidding a 6 card suit if you rebid the same suit at the two level.

I have learned a lot from your videos. Do you have to have an agreement with your partner that when you bid a higher-ranking suit in an opening position, you are showing 16 + points, or is this a standard way to play? Thanks!

Hi Nilma. This is standard bridge. Some teachers avoid on it basis that you'll "probably be ok" if you don't understand it - but the best thing to do is get your head around it. Trust me, it starts feeling natural after a while! Good luck!
