I love that somebody brought out these videos of Michael Jordan in the '80s. I never understand why people keep talking about Michael in the '90s but they never talk about him when he played in the '80s from 84 to 88 Jordan was just amazing. I believe Jordan's younger years was a little bit better then his prime years. it just my opinion. but the things Jordan has done he averaged 37.1 points per game his second year he average 28 points his rookie year. like come on Jordan the greatest player that ever put on a pair of sneakers no disrespect to the other generation of players. I was born in 1976 but I was very lucky to grow up in the Michael Jordan era from 84 to 98...
Yes sir!! You hit the nail on the head about Jordan during that time period 84 - 88 This is the skinny version of the great " AIR JORDAN " which Imo is the absolute best version of him. Not even the late great Kobe could even come close to emulating this version of Jordan. Had it not been for " The Jordan Rules " MJ would have been for just a little while longer " The skinny kid from North Carolina "
a pleasure to watch young Michael in action and to see his youthful exuberance. The Chicago Stadium fans were in awe of his performance, and they really appreciated it.
This might be my new favorite basketball MJ channel. I like the time stamps you do too. I also like how you show all the highlights from both teams. Good stuff. Thank you.

@17:28 Dave Corzine 3/4 court pass to Michael Jordan for the spectacular leaning sideways 2 handed pump reverse dunk! (They did NOT even show a replay for that dunk? Shameful coverage. That was a dunk competition standard entry. Nobody else in nba history can do that dunk in a game.
Woolridge was one of the best in game dunkers.I remember when he held the side of the backboard and dunked a ball with the other hand in a game when he was playing for the lakers
We, GenX, fans of MJ became fans in the 1980's... The 1980's MJ was absolutely incredible... We didn't know what we were seeing, however we were truly mesmerized. ... Also, MJ was kinda the anti-hero because, at the time, Bird, Magic, and Dr.J were the "faces" of the NBA ... So, we rooted for Jordan almost like he was "the People's Champ" ... Real Talk. 💯👍🏽
The removal of Woolridge was akin to the Bears trading away Roquan Smith at MLB to tank the team and pick up much needed draft capital that later resulted in the signing of Pippen and Grant. Woolridge was a great player and this was a painful move for the organization to make...but necessary.
Hey Bruce I know you’ve retired, but would you ever do special appearances or one off reviews/ topic videos in the future? I’m a huge fan and thanks for everything you’ve done for us blitz team members.
Orlando Woolridge could never outplay Jordan because he was destroyed in college by Dwight Anderson.Dwight Anderson was a awesome talent. He was so talented that Isaiah Thomas,Dominique Wilkins and James Worthy will tell you that he was Michael Jordan before Jordan and the player everybody wanted to be but he let drugs wreck his career. He was the fastest human being to ever play and he was a unstoppable spectacular exciting and amazing one man offensive machine.
Yo...this is a great clip,, gotta tell evry1 though,,, GOD BLESS PEARL WASHINGTON,, ALWAYS REMEMBERED,,, NEVER FORGOTTEN.. HE WOULD HAVE BEEN AN ALL TIME GREAT POINT GUARD IN THE NBA.. HANDS DOWN. FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW,, LOOK HIM UP. GOD BLESS HIS FAMILY ALWAYS. NEW YORK STRONG...
Man Shaq would have loved just the chance to play back then. Big they did have a lot of fights. Shaq just may have killed someone just playing basketball.? 😂
Charles Oakley says he would rather play with Lebum because MJ wouldn't pass him the ball. From my eyes I saw several passes to him and he blew the shot. Another lie to add to the Jordan never passed the ball bs.

There was something about the way he moved, his agility, etc. i blame it on the weightlifting.
Well said!
@@mrjooxmanallah pistons made him bulk up

THE GOAT!!!!!! ANY QUESTIONS?
Compared to today's basketball this almost looks like watching a NFL game.. 25:39 they straight jinx him on that free throw.

88 Mike, was just ridiculous! Game was flawless!
87*
RIP Orlando woolridge 🙏
Sick channel 👍🏽🤙🏽
I didn't know the Bulls were using Sirius in their intro that far back. For some reason I had always assumed they started using it in 1990.
It all began in 1984... Michael's rookie year.
Imagine if Jordan played with all the greats magic played with (showtime)
For Jordan to play with Oakley(the knuckle thrower)for years he had to be tuff.
Jordan at his best.
@Kenny Lopez I agree 💯 Air Jordan was SPECTACULAR during this time
This is the first time that I have ever seen Jordan wear the 2's, in a picture or video. They actually look good on him
Jordan's jump shot was a little different in his younger years. 84-88
Compared to today's basketball this almost looks like watching a NFL game.
25:39 they straight jinx him on that free throw😂
Michael Air Jordan Is Still The GOAT!!!
11:34 that guy walking next to the coach looks like John Starks?

Why was Woolridge booed?
Man Shaq would have loved just the chance to play back then. Big they did have a lot of fights. Shaq just may have killed someone just playing basketball.? 😂
If you didn’t pay $70/month for cable, you could not watch this game in its entirety.
😎🤙🏾
