I've found that minding your own business is the only way to get though life. Who am l to judge what someone else is doing with THEIR TIME? I honestly don't care if is not messing with my life/time.❤
I was pretty much raised to have no life. I was pulled out of school in 4th grade for health reasons. Problem is I never was educated past that because my mom was too busy sleeping and gaming to do the homeschooling she was supposed to do. I’m 30 now and last time I went to go visit my mom for Christmas she wanted me to stay for a couple of days. When I went back to my home my husband asked what we did. I told him we watched 8 movies and she played some farming game on her iPad the whole time. I’m a bit of a hermit but I don’t spend all my time gaming. Don’t get me wrong I love gaming but it’s something I do only a couple times a month. I hate being social with other people they just seem to disappoint me with the drama they make or hurtful things they do. However despite my disinterest in people I love playing with my kids, pushing them in the stroller everyday, letting my toddler help me make cookies, we read together, trips to the zoo and so on. I probably seem like I have no life but my mom literally has 0 life and idk how she ever let it get so bad
Due to my upbringing I was neck deep in a “survivalist” mentality for many years. Pulled off some radical feats despite my age but I was also paranoid, cynical, depressed, reclusive, alone, and restless never seeing past the next obstacle or adversity. To survive is to live but surviving isn’t living.
It's good to be prepared but not at a detriment to yourself - me the biggest do as i say not as i do ever Tbh having a couple big bags of rice and beans plus three boxes of roman a way to purifiey a good amount of water and a Leatherman and a hatchet will get you through most emergencies
"No Life" can mean "Terrible person with no prospects" or "Boring person whose life doesn't abide by my definition of exciting". The latter is annoying because who are these people to say I have no life simply because I feel no need to do anything conventionally exciting?
Same I'm barely on social media but do check in daily I comment more on TH-cam because I have no notifications for comments I make. I like to comment I just dont care for pointless conversations with strangers over a comment like this one that has no reason to discourse over. My husband works 2 weeks out of the month away from home. When the guys he works with ask what he is going to do with his home time, his answer is always, work on the yard. We own a farm. When he’s away, I hold the Fort with my 2 teenagers. When he comes home, he gets to do the things he enjoys. Some people give him grief about not having a life. We worked and saved for 15 years to get to how the yard of our dreams. This is 100% a life wanted.
I don't exactly have the most exciting social life for someone my age (I go to my local model railroad club 2-3 times a week), though I am fortunate to have a hobby/interest about which I've been passionate for many years, and incorporate it into other activities (i.e. reading).

Ok I am willing to accept that there was a time I didn't have a "life." But the definition of having a life I found to be subjective and varies drastically between different people. The one that bugs me is being seen as not having a life because you don't do that one thing that someone you know thinks everyone else does. One example I will never forget was that apparently obsessively watching all the soap operas on TV is the definition of having a life. In case it was not obvious... I can't stand soap operas, there is nothing that makes me more livid. Nothing against you if you feel the opposite, that's fine you do you. But people will not always like stuff you do and that's ok and definitely should not dictate whether you have a life or not. Especially if your definition is watching boring, depressing, repetetitive TV shows because on so called realistic settings and characters who have more of a definition of a so called life... and not lets say... so out and act like the fictional characters you love so much.
Story 8 feels more judgy as if your enjoying that life then who cares if itd not adventurous some people are just plain oatmeal kind of person not for everyone but better then mr cocaine snorting rich guy who hates hes life and is always stressed

The Bungie Cord Man post was cool..... Until OP decided to expose how immature they were. Saying "if you voted for Trump, I'd be heartbroken." That's just such a petty, stupid thing to say.
I don't agree with the op that was making fun of the "And everyone clapped." meme, I'm sorry, but that's just people calling out bullshit, especially the made up 4 year old climate activists, or anti Trump kids back in 2016, it was so obviously the actual poster roleplaying their kid saying that, to "point out" how "stupid" people with the "wrong" opinion are. A kid understands this, but you don't? Kind of attitude, except a kid didn't say, you did, and you're not as smart as you think you are. Also, if you are offended that people voted for Trump, or disavow family members, or threaten violence towards those that did, you are a terrible person, and an extremist, your candidate lost, get over it, and move on.

LOL the salt at the end of Story 6. That was entirely unnecessary to add, yet they couldn't keep their politics out of the way for 5 seconds.
