noel gallagher is a f*cking genius, he writes awesome songs, plays guitar with an incredible style and has a fucking red gibson E-355, I think anybody would like to be in his shoes.
@yash29k ill never forget the day i heard this song, was on tv, i was 16, i was gettin ready to go meet my friends to go to an under age rave night and on the bus down i couldnt get the song out of my head....that was the moment i changed from teeny boppin hard house head to a mid 90s rock n roll star......then i heard live forever, supersonic, cigs + alcohol and dont look back in anger and that was it, no lookin back.....
Probably talking about the laid back drum style and fills. Ringo had a very distinctive style where he kind of plays on he back beat, it's very cool and relaxed and you can hear it in the fills. It's hard to describe in a way. Listen to some of his drum fills in "A Day In The Life", a great example of his drumming, as well as many other songs. It's just a great distinctive style. Many people say Ringo wasn't a great drummer but they're wrong. He was. Technically there are better drummers but he was distinctive and how many drummers have as many unique and recognisable drum beats as Ringo i.e Come Together, Tomorrow Never Knows, Ticket To Ride etc. etc. He was an incredible song drummer, he played for the song and was unique too. A lot of drummers just play for themselves.
@yash29k ........16 years on and i feel every bit as strongly about the band and this song and the 90s lad culture as i did back then, although i remember only half of it! and this song will always always be my favourite......mad for it
sin duda esta es de mis favoritas... el oasis del 95 me enamoró y cuando descubri Definitely Maybe y Whatever ya vi que los adoraba incondicionalmente (y siguen gustandome). GREAT DEMO !!!! ;)
i miss the old oasis , with those 5 , that was the best group of music in the history , i wish those 5 fellows will reunion , even if the chances are small , by the way where are they today? exept of Liam and Noel
nah man mccaroll just wasn't good enough for what they really wanted to do he couldn't even keep time on the simplest beat properly it worked on the first album but the four with allan white were the best lineup
Tony McCaroll wasn’t a good drummer, they did well to hide it on DM but the brothers, Guigsy, Bonehead and Alan are the best oasis line-up there ever was. Although Alan White signified their transition from working class darlings into proper rock n roll icons
Noel did it accoustic at Wembley on the last night of the tour. He did say before he started that he hadn't played it for over ten years ! No idea why though as it's a class tune.
If Oasis gets inducted in to the rocknroll all of fame in 2019, all the original members will get invited to play at the ceremony :-) I'm sure Bonehead and Tony would be up for it. Not sure about guigsy though.
yep by Liam, (he's always apparently hated it) - the time of its release. It got shit for being a number one at xmas or somthing?... I personally quiet like it... every time I hear it on radio, I get to feeling nostalgic. & it gets alot of radio play.!!
i agree lad if liam has is way it will be on the tracklist i would love for thsi and live forever to be on at heaton park it would be epic. am going on sat whats this park like got pubs around there and that?
theres no way anybody can say this is better than the original....im sorry but without the immortal line "whatever you do whatever you say i know its alright" and the emotional outro it just cant be compared....as good as it is its not better by any stretch
I still can't get my head around just how beautiful Liam's voice once was.
Warms my heart listening to these early versions.
This song always makes me happy!
''Im freeeeee to be whatever i ...''

Am I drunk,or am I actually hearing a bass guitar in an oasis song.
+hdmat101 Go Let It Out also has a prominent bass line... but of course these are exceptions
Most of definitely maybe has baseline
+Beetle juice Chill out, edgelord
Why can't I like this comment more then once?
Both. You should should’ve said,
“Am I drunk or am I actually hearing a bass guitar in an Oasis song?”
I like the way Liam says ''If I Waooont''
The original band line-up were the best...that will never change.
I don't know why but this makes me cry
That's because it's genuine and from a good place
Made my cry tonight
Mister Sifter you’re taste in music is fucking awful
It’s not that bad
Lmaoooo crybaby
No overblown orchestration, just raw and bassy
This is great, but the orchestration makes the original. Those strings are heavenly.
And keyboard where the strings would be after the middle-eight.
Liam singing with the ian brown style
yeah, pretty bad, huh?
Talking Vegetable its ok, but it doesn't fit him as good as ian obviously, he developed his own style
Fog812 8 Ian Brown had a quiet soothing voice Liam has a raspy but smooth voice
well ian brown couldnt really sing anyway
Apples and oranges. Ian and liam are nothing alike in vocal delivery.
the bass is actually audible OMG!!!
Drums are amazing on this, ringo Starr style.
+Haydn Owen That's our kid Tony!
+Haydn Owen As a guy who knows jack shit about drums can you explain that? How are there similar patterns? Genuine question.

too bad tony got kicked
Ride Yer Camel his best drumming was on Revolver. She Said She Said is a highlight
That synth at 2:34 never did before, never done again since
Instead they went for Beatlesesque Strings
i love it
The synth and this version overall sounds more melancholy.
@@TCBCAFC "They played guitars on this song, very Beatle-esque."
@@MidosujiSen "they're singing, that's what the Beatles used to do"
One of my favorite Oasis song
Something epic about the guitar at the end. it touches my heart not complex just beautiful
the demos are so good
the guitar fills at 2:50, lovely!!
It's the guitar riff from Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton :)
@@GiuseppeL knew it soumded familiar

Thanks for the upload! I like how Oasis tries to look like the British rock heritage, although they had a sound o their own:)
bass sounds is very good, çok iyi bu grup
Whatever u do... Whatever u say... Yeah I know it's alrite... Miss that! Luv them❣
All the young bluuuueess

I'd like to be. Under the sea. In an octopuses garden in the shade.
I was 13 back in1994. I've been a fan since 1995!
Those voice and guitar melodies gives me eargasm
So peaceful, I loove it.
I saw art in the loove
this version is so fookin biblical
I prefer this version.
One of my favorit oasis song, this lyrics give me one reason for fight on rain days.
here in my miiiiiind you know you migh fiiiiiiiiiiiind ... Liam's voice is amazing in that one
wonderful!!

Bone heads touring with Liam on his solo stuff, Tony carols a labourer and guiggsys a rucluse painting art in Sussex

love the guitar from 4 mins onwards
Just what I was gonna say... "you need to be yourself, you can't be no one else"
Really great solo at the end. Wish he'd stuck with that for the final version. Quite unique for a Noel solo
the bass sound.. i like it
Oh shit i love it!
Fantastic!!

Noel ain't coming mate!!!! He told the reporters that it wont happen!!!
Vince Masauding yeh but he always changes his opinions on subjects, so its possible
Craig Evans not tony. Most likely Alan

I always long that Noel and Liam stand on same stage.
yeah a great group like this would never break into todays music scene. a shame
They don’t make em’ like this no more!
I'd like to be, under the sea, in an octopus's garden in the shade....!!!
The only Oasis recording where the bass is the loudest instrument.
Did they use a Casio keyboard for the strings? That's awesome
The finished version is a lot better... usually I prefer the raw versions that seem to have more soul.
OASIS FOREVER!
Emotive
😥😥😥
love it!!!
bad sound quality or not
this is one of those songs of greatness you cant forget by Oasis
For some reason I just can’t stop listening to that guitar bit at 00:53
It’s just Beautiful
what an angel liam gallagher is
If only they had a DM style recording of All Around the World
Whatever is one of oasis`s best songs!!!! That demo is interresting to hear! Without the strings and that all, and a liam-young-voice
All the young dudes, carry the news
this is something else super baked
Noel is a genius indeed
I bless and fuck this day. Bless, because i first heared Oasis. I fuck, because i Hear it so late.
amazing - alot more beatles like
Always seems to meeeeeee, you only see what people want you to seeeeeee

It would be absolutely mind blowing if they do 'Whatever' at Heaton Park!

Great bass
The lead guitar is brilliant right through but really amazing near the end, so much feeling

is it just me or do the demos sound better versions than the original?
Why demos are better than the final versions?
Digsy wasn't an Oasis drummer, he was a friend of the band...
