I am 63, played as a child; learned from my Dad… forgot most of what he taught me, but want to learn and bring back some happy memories back into my life ❤
Your approach of teaching is wonderful! I feel like it's a 1 on 1 lesson and I've learned more in 1 hour than I have in years. Thank you so much for this.
Good morning from South Africa, I learned to play Moonlight Sonata with your help. I am 78, and had piano lessons when I was a child. Thank you so much
Humans have the unique ability to learn new abstract concepts even into adulthood. The difficult part is dedicating the time and not giving in to the inner voice telling you to give up. As an adult I think it's harder to keep the desire because you have spent your whole life building up an ego that has a certain expectations of effort and reward. It's important to be aware of this and not let it consume your thinking. The road to success is painted with many small accomplishments over many days, weeks, years, and eventually they take you where you want to go.
Just wanted to give an update. I have received your "Pianote Read Music in 30 Days" last week & started using it today. It's been 27 years since I last played my keyboards. My biggest problem was reading music sheets. Had to memorize them, because it was a lot easier that way. Got to a point where I could memorize 38 songs. Practice different songs every day for a few hours. I could memorize a new song in about 2.5 hours & retain to memory. So I started this morning and within 4 hours I got through week 1. I'm now on page 20 starting with Day 6. And I have to admit your book is doing a great job of teaching me how to read music really well. I surprised even myself. Taking a break the rest of the day. Will practice again tomorrow and so on. Could possibly finish the book by the end next week? I don't know. Maybe. I'll keep you posted. Again thank you. The book is really helpful so far. It's all coming back to me.
I’ve been learning since I was 36. I’m now 65. However I did have 4 children and worked so didn’t do any practice. I struggle with reading music. It’s really hard for me too. So I love your channel as your my fav teacher You are easy to understand. You’re slow enough for things to soak in. Thank you Lisa. I practice 20 min every day as I get muddled after that and loose my focus. I learnt with acuryms…. 💕😘❤️🙏🇦🇺
Lisa, you are wonderful!! I can't wait to spend this 30 days with you! Such an excellent, helpful, encouraging teacher! I recommend this course to anyone who is sitting on the fence. I promise it will be GREAT!!!
Hello Lisa,My favorite 😍!!!. I am relearning. I played as a child and never again until now. Got a nice Yamaha keyboard for Christmas to help me with stress. This and yard work, only things that take my mind off.
my kobe is arriving pretty soon! I don't know if i made a good choice, If I didn't I'll just send it back, but I'm excited as hell. I love your lessons, kisses from Brazil.
I’m 73 and started learning 18 months ago. I’m ok with G clef but struggle with F clef. I noticed that if I’m on the F clef and transpose the note by a third, it is the note on the G clef. So move up one space or one line.
How often do you offer the 30 day challenge. My piano died and my new one is on order so I don’t have one to play for the July 1st start date. I’d like to take the next one if there will be another one.
Wonder who won the giveaways...I always seem to miss out, didn't know about this webinar until now, don't suppose anyone watched earlier and won something or knows who won, and if any are left...would be nice to win something here, wrote to them and they didn't know anything about them...
Chat with me message I'm not looking for date I'm strictly interested in your music I play electric guitar 30years 3years of you learning piano and only you for some reason seem to click and teach me I can sight read now and feeling amazing thanks 🎉

Same. Don’t know if I’m going about it the right way- but started on a piano learning app
Never too late to start. Go for it.

Remember ACE.
The 3 lines above treble clef and the three lines below base clef and the 3 lines that join base & treble all are ACE.

I been on 6months vacation for winter and first thing I did was sit at my grand piano 🎹 and feeling so blessed seeing you ur awesome teacher ❤️
The height of the note determines the pitch . A higher line means a higher pitch, so moving up the stave represents moving right along the keyboard.
I love that high energy + American accent.
I love those In-Ear monitors! What brand are they please?
Always is a pleasure to see you and learn more. You have the gift to seem easy the difficult. God bless you dear Lisa. Yo

i gave up learning to memories the notes , so I BOUGHT those piano key board note stickers
Some of my students do that, but I try to encourage them not to be dependent on those.
Learning keyboard topography isn't too hard.
@@amberchiangmusic yes, it's true when we start to depend on those we will never learn the keys by memory.. those are a bad crutch in my opinion.
