Nice to see Houlston's still at it, I remember them back in the early/mid 70's when they were spreading muck for us using a Roadless 75 with a rear loader, I think. I dare not think of what that Claas cost! It looks a bit soft under foot Colin. Was that your first cut silage or a neighbours? Its good and early eh.
It has changed quite a bit since it was mainly Dennis and Paul. Grass from there is going a mile or so to Forest Hall at Castleton, that field by the moor was the only one particularly soft in places, it did rain a bit yesterday which was unhelpful only nuisance rain really though so hadn't wilted much. They did say what the new price is, whatever you are thinking probably double it - good trade in for older one though.
