I think that Varkolyn is harder than Pirate king because even though Pirate King is very vital, Varkolyn is annoying with his invincibility AND very hard without poison immunity
You see Varkolyn is easily counterable just by being close to it by using a melee and staying close to it its easier to dodge the laser attack and move behind it so it cant attack you head on the only problem is the vines but because of the melee you justblock them anyway also try not to shoot while its invincible
He's the easiest in the space biome, hes always the one id wantly find in a Boss rush run. (On the sidenote tho it would be fun if he sucks up all his poison when triggering the laser attack)
I totally agree with you with regarding Iron Pirate King (Why does it even have Level on its name?), but there is one thing you forgot to factor as to why this boss deserves the 4th spot. The mobs of shotgun pirates that just spawns every now and then and blasting bullet hell is what makes this boss a pain to deal with, and the icing on the cake, is that they spawn in random intervals, at random places, forcing you to wipe them out before they do, which also makes baiting a cannon ball harder because you're moving.
I breeze through iron pirate, even in badass mode. Personally I find every other world 3 boss way harder. Some like zulan or baby dragons are borderline completely reliant on luck, and I'm pretty sure that varkolyn is impossible without the poison immunity. Iron pirate? I've probably only died to him once, and I'm not a sweaty gamer

I just cheese giant by spamming basic attack on him. The bullets clear from melee, and the lasers don't hit in the middle. If anything, the shockwaves are the most tedious part.
if we talk about bare hands only, then giant is way harder since he has shockwaves. and even tho gold masks bullets can just get evaporated by spamming melee near him, the meteors are gonna take atleast one or two hp if ur not quick enough killing gold mask (this also comes from someone that did sir violet no weapons using alchemist cus alchemist op)
I honestly think Sir violet on release is MUCH harder The laser grid safe space is MINISCULE it was also harder to predict where the grid was gonna attack next Bosses were MUCH harder back then To me the mech boss was a walk in the park but i guess thats just our differences
R.I.P Dark Grand Knight, He was everyone's first bullet hell boss in the 2-5 level and one of the strongest, sad he got nerfed into oblivion. Edit: Robotic Frenzy Warden wasn't that really hard tho, sure the location was way more annoying than the hidden level of Cave Ice Bug's boss fight but pretty sure most of us have beaten this boss in the first attempt without dying... Also the Baby Dragon Bros were an absolute hell in badass mode 3-5, hiding for too long while at thesame time being out in the open is a guaranteed gameover unless you have the fire resistance buff then everything is somewhat more incontrol, Varkolyn is somewhat of a cheesy boss, but once you get the hang of him then he's pretty much an easy boss, Golden Mask will test out your dodging skills, the true bullet hell boss of 1-5, sure you have Zulan in Ruins or the Devil Snare but they are pretty easy, especially the Devil's Snare bossfight, pathetic in my opinion..
Personally i feel like a lot of the floor 3 bosses are harder than Iron Pirate King. Pirate has a lot of strange mechanics that might be difficult for a new player, but me many of the experienced players (4+ years, no weapon RTP) Ive talked to all said that it gets really consistent once you clear him a few times. Bosses like baby dragon bros have less consistency as they could be in different combinations of positions at all times, while others like vark leader has invincibility. Without elemental immunities I feel dragon bros and vark leader generally are much harder, especially in badass mode. Also vark laser sucks. Like wtf is up with that damage
Og warden was built different, the sheer amount of health and damage was unreasonable especially with the difficulty of getting season coins and chips during it. Truly a challenge
Just get health regen, hp buff to the max, leave one enemy down in the pit, run around him until you regen enough and then kill him. As easy to do as to say. Been there done that. Until learned how to scale up properly
Though Controversial, Night Wanderer has exactly 13500 HP(game tested), which makes him harder but not annoying As for IPKL, yeah, but its totally more on the minions that are coming Violet though, yeah again, the laser web on 2nd phase can be hard if you can't predict where it will hit
Well yeah, the update 4.2.5 warden was just a pain in my hands that i only beat it in the further updates when it is nerfed. And Sir Violet was also hard that i had to be lucky enough to beat him. Good thing i beat him twice. I also haven't fought the Night Wanderer yet because i am still progressing rosemary island difficulty 5, which is very hard for me and i still need to have enough skill and luck to reach him, and if i did reach it, then i would judge if he is hard or not. Great analysis though.
For real, not even COSTUME PRINCE can beat him. Costume Prince, who people say is OP, btw. And in Rosemary Season where his best buffs & drinks are reachable.
my top 5 1. Sir Violet (bit less difficult) just difficult. 2. Witch Of The Mist (still probably a skill issue on my end) probably a skill issue for me idk 3. Dragon Bros (murder quick and you just might be fine) again, usually getting overwhelmed or pinned by the fire 4. Headless Knight & His Horse (overwhelms me less now) second phase tends to overwhelm me sometimes 5.C6H8O6 (no longer too bad to deal with) mildly annoying but can get past him with reasonable struggle

At one time i argued with a random guy online that night wanderer is way harder than sir violet. I know this vid is not a clarification of any kind but it does really feel like a win to me lol. You really made a lot of good points. I do feel the same way about these bosses too.
Bro, when I first met the pirate king, I had absolutely 0 idea about the shield, but I beat him in my first try, it took a long time because I was doing a pleb amount of damage but I won! And looking back, I’m really proud of myself that I beat him in one go.
All third bosses except Anubis and Unbreakable breakwater are really hard and skill-dependent. I can say same about Sir Violet. But he is much harder. About season bosses I can say only that: If you have a good pumping and tactic, you can easily beat each of them.
varkolyn leader is rly easy if you have poison buff, which is a buff you always have with alch passive/pre game prep. trivializes the entire boss fight because the only hard part is the tentacles constantly limiting your movement with poison pools. laser is bs tho tf is up with the damage???
This game really should add directional aiming like 20 mins till dawn So uou can still autofire by holding the shoot button but you should be able to manuaky shoot by interacting woth the shoot button the same way you move the move stick
My most hated bosses in Soul Knight is The Giant, Baby Dragon Bros, and The Headless Knight. The Giant is almost Impossible to Kill without dying, because no matter where I hide behind a Wall or try to Heal, his Bullets would still hit me 1 Secs at a time and its SUPER PAINFULLY ANNOYING. The Headless Knight is too Aggressive for me to handle, sometimes I even lose track of him for being too fast. And for the Baby Dragon Bros. MY GOD IT HAUNTS ME FOREVER, THEM SPLITTING UP SHOOTING BILLIONS OF BULLETS ALL THE TIME, NO WHERE TO HIDE, NOT EVEN BEHIND A WALL, THE LAVA FLOORS BURNING ME EVERYTIME, I CAN'T STAND THE BABY DRAGON BROS!!! 😤😤😤😤😤😤
I think the night wanderer is the hardest boss, because you can get great dps buff during youre run but u dont get good defensive buffs, then youre pretty much doomed, you somehow need to get the best RNG to get both buff balanced, or get great power ups that can make this boss fight much easier to deal with. Great video i agree with all the bosses except number 1 and 2. Edits, i cant type so i had to fix some words xd.
Pirate king level is annoying cuz it's not easy to attack through its shield and there will be a lot of things that will damage you. The best way to defeat it is with melee
Baby dragon bros is easily the most aggressive 3d stage boss out there. Once you get to know Pirate Kings move set and patterns (you master it after your third fight with him) he become one of the easiest bosses in the game. Baby Dragon bros deserved the crown.
Cave ice bug and its fire counterpart should have a honorable mention because ice bug puts ice to shame regenerates immunity underground And give you little cover its fire counterpart is annoying because of the immunity underground dump pattern that is similar to goblin priest on the highest difficulty setting lava tiles and can only be beaten through brute force unlike its ice counterpart
5:07 brother I managed to beat him in difficulty 6 using only the dormant bubble gun, the ancient guard sword and alchemist 1st skill. Don't know how or why but I lived it through; the difficulty with him is the same of pirate king but amplified, he lasts a lot longer and the other enemies are a serious nuisance
I just beat Sir Violet the first time before by using the armor mount bug. Then I tried again to get the blueprint for his weapons using Necromancer, 1st skill, Queen's touch, and increase effectiveness of pets and followers and I won again. Then got the same built in a row and won again! Yk what the real punchline is....... Not even once did he drop his weapon blueprint.
2:16 Whn I came back to SK and found him, I didn't know about the bombs and just killed him with ease. But what I would add is, the boss itself is easy, but every time I attempt a challenge he is the worst. I feel the minions scale down so much with the power creep, but doing it hitless, with trash weapons, or no weapons at all, and they will haunt your dreams.
My top 5 is: (excluding season bosses, as I have only fought 4) 5: The Queen, I have a lot of trouble with her, mostly the attacks spawning from her hands so far away from her center 4: Gold Mask Prime, just as stated 3: Sir Violet, he's hard, but I didn't have a hard time myself, I first tried him, and second tried with the hand, but the objective reasons are right 2: Baby Dragon Bros: the fact that they are 2 is incredibly overwhelming, and have punished me way more that Sir Violet has 1: Varkolyn leader: The poison immunity is incredibly ruff, staying invulnerable too much time, also if you don't have poison immunity yourself it becomes an even worse bullet hell. If you don't get a chance to nuke him, it becomes aweful.

I couldn't even beat the Warden because it had a glitch in which the treadmill was insanely fast, couldn't even hit him once, so my best efforts and buffs were nullified because of that, which it also was the primary reason i had quit the game for 5 months straight
bruh warden was a real pain back in 4.2.5, it took me a month to finally get a strat to beat him daily. but I'd switch his place woth night wanderer cause warden can be one shotted while night wanderer can't

Men,i personally *HATE* the,uhm,lava worm,that phase 3 lava biome boss, Its fast,has a lot of bullets to dodge,its almost invincible most of the time and has lots of different attack for you to dodge,in a small room. After he gets of the ground,the AoE damage he causes while doing so its almost a 1/3 or the room size. And that hurts.
Well the only problem facing warden is incorrect scaling. This is the easiest boss if you farm correctly, which is pretty easy to do. And manual aiming was the problem only for fuel guardians. This man stands in one side of the screen, takes the entirety of it at doesn't move
It's a bit easy to counter the first reason why night wanderer is hard, well night wanderer stand no chance against paladin first skill at around 50 skill lv and up, and that is "all your advantages".
This is a list about which bosses are the hardest to beat. Not about which of them is strongest. And there is a big difference between these 2 things. Because the strongest one is no doubt Alien Aircraft Carrier. Tens of thousands of HP, attacks that deal insane amount of damage, etc. No other boss comes even vlose to it. But due to the fact that in origins the player's weapons can be much stronger, it's easy to beat.
I think dark knight is hard via fast bullet and not straight-line bullet plus with his aggressive. it's hell and don't for get about 2nd season bosses it's kinda hard someway like seasoned crab which attack very fast and his bullet really fast too
Is there anyone out there thinks that knight is one of the best if not best characters cause even if you are in lower lvls knight can get through easily just dual wield
My experience with souls night boss was Monkey with a gold mask is little harder The twin dragon is absurd only why i survived that is fire resistance and explosion damage reduces Quenn manly the robotic lion wife is most intense THEN HIM Only boss that made me go hard mode is the pirate king That all i manly play knight bc of third skill and powerful and versatile and useful weapon

Sir violet The badass damage boost and the laser matrix is the reason why this dude is so hard 3. Baby fire dragon duo They are aggressive and the fact that they are 2 in 1 boss at the same time make it hard 2.Dark grand knight Literally a terminator, bullets hell, aggressive, high health make this dude the hardest main boss 1.Warden Just like the video
Ok considering that Prince dont exist lets go : Weakest 5 : 5. Colossus ; stay still and support boss only major attack confusion , easy early boss to win first playthrough . 4. Skeleton King ; most weak bosses for me are support ones and skeleton king nail this category mostly concentrating with either attack or spawning skeleton knights , Ghost is a little bit harder couse invincibility but he dont serve any defense . 3. Pirate king ; yeah another support one but what makes him harder than Anubis is defense mechanism but there is a lot of time to breath and with shooting weapon you can just play with him minutes hit and run game and having any health or shield buff it turns into infinity game , my first win the run was against him and in first try just lots of patients . 2. You heard it Anubis is the easiest and least defense moreover weakest attacks in 3lv bosses to easy cheese him up , what would i have said Anubis is harder than Pirate King but in later games Pirate King still challenge you unlike Anubis experienced every attack and cheese him in seconds like park walk . 1. Alien Mother Ship ; no comments of being too op so every boss in Origins sucks very much even the ship isnt a challenge anymore even without towers , this mode have rough beginning but after hitting the weapon upgrader turns into cheesy ending. Now to Strongest ones : 5 . Im with you golden mask is a hell of beginning boss but later on with good sword you are technically ok . 4. Headless Knight ; Oh boy how that boss put me on big trouble every time on normal runs or Boss rushes especially when split out with his horse , it had nightmares in first playthroughs and still challenging in later ones . 3. Sir Violet ; I didnt have much experiment except Prince beat him up 20 times for two swords I played ones with Robot and reached to him he is a hard boss for sure and his first state attacks are simple except lazer attack to train you what will come next , in his second state when hardness goes up very fast he shoots his swords jumps a lot with fire around and hellish lazer attach you should pay lots of visits until getting used to it , and then will turn into long fun brawl . 2. Zulan ; I mean the alien one of course , now that boss for me theoretically the hardest one till now and even having blind spot and slow movement bullethell and lazers fix the problem , till now if i dont win in less a minute im doomed , he ruined looots of runs even second last Rush into Purity last week , I hate fighting against him but admire him every time I lose .... Talking about hatred 1. Hello ladies and gentlemen to my most controversial rank Lava Worm 🤣🤣 yeah for me he is the worst boss I will never get used to his scummy mechanic , now every invincible state bosses this invincibility state is tamed : Crabs have some seconds to heal , Ghost is weakness is being opened especially in sucking attack and his disappearance is 2 seconds at most etc , but this boss (maybe my RNG) most the time hidden in ground and every one second jump is rewarded with contact and area damage with bullet generator and stay like this 3-6 times until finally his majesty finished his attack and stay up , still not enough as fast as his attack finished either throw his second attack or already get back to ground to spam his favorite attack again , you rather get great damage dealing attacks and having sword in your sleeve or you gonna suffer several minutes playing hitting mole with him and preparing good defense with that time, as I said Zulan is technically most difficult boss but Lava Worm have this bad habit spamming his invincible attack , we can compere it with more advanced and better boss Ice one that literally delivers same attacks but in his own way , his invincibility attack are short and not stackable but still delivers danger in his own way unlike Lava counterpart . Firstly i had low experience with Season bosses ; I began with that Island with choosing either stick or bow or sword and didnt even reached the bosses , Robot Frenzy was a fun one and defeated the boss in both normal and badass difficulties but lost interest after this victory , then the Journey to the west season was the most memorable and got monk Tang skin and the Ninja boss for some reason mostly with great HP i rarely killed him but time just ruined the difficulty by just stalling until you will without killing the boss and the new season i still didnt play yet . Honorable mention : Crystal Crabs , That Robot with strange name , Guard Scarab , the Giant , Dark Grand Knight , Floating Ufo , Baby Dragon Bros , and new Ruins boss that rides Relic Rides .

Imo iron pirate king level is easy in normal mode but very hard on badas .sir violet is much easier than laser flouting UFO for me. I couldn't beat UFO in badas even a single time but lost only one time to sir Violet even though I fought against him more than 8 times.Imo alchemist is best character for rush to purity because of his insane skill damage good overall stats and very useful buff.

The Giant is almost Impossible to Kill without dying, because no matter where I hide behind a Wall or try to Heal, his Bullets would still hit me 1 Secs at a time and its SUPER PAINFULLY ANNOYING. The Headless Knight is too Aggressive for me to handle, sometimes I even lose track of him for being too fast. And for the Baby Dragon Bros. MY GOD IT HAUNTS ME FOREVER, THEM SPLITTING UP SHOOTING BILLIONS OF BULLETS ALL THE TIME, NO WHERE TO HIDE, NOT EVEN BEHIND A WALL, THE LAVA FLOORS BURNING ME EVERYTIME, I CAN'T STAND THE BABY DRAGON BROS!!! 😤😤😤😤😤😤

The poison from Gold Mask is counted as poison by poison immune buff and therefore Alchemist is immune
I think the night wanderer is the hardest boss, because you can get great dps buff during youre run but u dont get good defensive buffs, then youre pretty much doomed, you somehow need to get the best RNG to get both buff balanced, or get great power ups that can make this boss fight much easier to deal with. Great video i agree with all the bosses except number 1 and 2.

Pirate king level is annoying cuz it's not easy to attack through its shield and there will be a lot of things that will damage you. The best way to defeat it is with melee
Baby dragon bros is easily the most aggressive 3d stage boss out there. Once you get to know Pirate Kings move set and patterns (you master it after your third fight with him) he become one of the easiest bosses in the game. Baby Dragon bros deserved the crown.

Cave ice bug and its fire counterpart should have a honorable mention because ice bug puts ice to shame regenerates immunity underground And give you little cover its fire counterpart is annoying because of the immunity underground dump pattern that is similar to goblin priest on the highest difficulty setting lava tiles and can only be beaten through brute force unlike its ice counterpart

5:07 brother I managed to beat him in difficulty 6 using only the dormant bubble gun, the ancient guard sword and alchemist 1st skill. Don't know how or why but I lived it through; the difficulty with him is the same of pirate king but amplified, he lasts a lot longer and the other enemies are a serious nuisance
Ngl, Gold Mask is quite hard especially in early where you only have weak weapons,IF ONLY WEAK WEAPONS.
I just beat Sir Violet the first time before by using the armor mount bug. Then I tried again to get the blueprint for his weapons using Necromancer, 1st skill, Queen's touch, and increase effectiveness of pets and followers and I won again. Then got the same built in a row and won again!

I used a free trial voucher to try necromancer and resurrected gold mask. It's like god mode.
2:16 Whn I came back to SK and found him, I didn't know about the bombs and just killed him with ease.
But what I would add is, the boss itself is easy, but every time I attempt a challenge he is the worst. I feel the minions scale down so much with the power creep, but doing it hitless, with trash weapons, or no weapons at all, and they will haunt your dreams.
My top 5 is: (excluding season bosses, as I have only fought 4)
5: The Queen, I have a lot of trouble with her, mostly the attacks spawning from her hands so far away from her center
4: Gold Mask Prime, just as stated
3: Sir Violet, he's hard, but I didn't have a hard time myself, I first tried him, and second tried with the hand, but the objective reasons are right
2: Baby Dragon Bros: the fact that they are 2 is incredibly overwhelming, and have punished me way more that Sir Violet has
1: Varkolyn leader: The poison immunity is incredibly ruff, staying invulnerable too much time, also if you don't have poison immunity yourself it becomes an even worse bullet hell. If you don't get a chance to nuke him, it becomes aweful.
All of that for sir violet yet people still have the purple slash achivement

I couldn't even beat the Warden because it had a glitch in which the treadmill was insanely fast, couldn't even hit him once, so my best efforts and buffs were nullified because of that, which it also was the primary reason i had quit the game for 5 months straight

Men,i personally *HATE* the,uhm,lava worm,that phase 3 lava biome boss,
Its fast,has a lot of bullets to dodge,its almost invincible most of the time and has lots of different attack for you to dodge,in a small room.
After he gets of the ground,the AoE damage he causes while doing so its almost a 1/3 or the room size. And that hurts.
violet's laser attack is easy, just move little and with a bit of reaction speed, you can completely dodge it
Well the only problem facing warden is incorrect scaling. This is the easiest boss if you farm correctly, which is pretty easy to do. And manual aiming was the problem only for fuel guardians. This man stands in one side of the screen, takes the entirety of it at doesn't move

It's a bit easy to counter the first reason why night wanderer is hard, well night wanderer stand no chance against paladin first skill at around 50 skill lv and up, and that is "all your advantages".

This is a list about which bosses are the hardest to beat. Not about which of them is strongest. And there is a big difference between these 2 things.
Because the strongest one is no doubt Alien Aircraft Carrier. Tens of thousands of HP, attacks that deal insane amount of damage, etc. No other boss comes even vlose to it. But due to the fact that in origins the player's weapons can be much stronger, it's easy to beat.
Ice worm is hell in Rush to purity fist run

Ok considering that Prince dont exist lets go :
Weakest 5 :
5. Colossus ; stay still and support boss only major attack confusion , easy early boss to win first playthrough .
4. Skeleton King ; most weak bosses for me are support ones and skeleton king nail this category mostly concentrating with either attack or spawning skeleton knights , Ghost is a little bit harder couse invincibility but he dont serve any defense .
3. Pirate king ; yeah another support one but what makes him harder than Anubis is defense mechanism but there is a lot of time to breath and with shooting weapon you can just play with him minutes hit and run game and having any health or shield buff it turns into infinity game , my first win the run was against him and in first try just lots of patients .
2. You heard it Anubis is the easiest and least defense moreover weakest attacks in 3lv bosses to easy cheese him up , what would i have said Anubis is harder than Pirate King but in later games Pirate King still challenge you unlike Anubis experienced every attack and cheese him in seconds like park walk .
1. Alien Mother Ship ; no comments of being too op so every boss in Origins sucks very much even the ship isnt a challenge anymore even without towers , this mode have rough beginning but after hitting the weapon upgrader turns into cheesy ending.
Now to Strongest ones :
5 . Im with you golden mask is a hell of beginning boss but later on with good sword you are technically ok .
4. Headless Knight ; Oh boy how that boss put me on big trouble every time on normal runs or Boss rushes especially when split out with his horse , it had nightmares in first playthroughs and still challenging in later ones .
3. Sir Violet ; I didnt have much experiment except Prince beat him up 20 times for two swords I played ones with Robot and reached to him he is a hard boss for sure and his first state attacks are simple except lazer attack to train you what will come next , in his second state when hardness goes up very fast he shoots his swords jumps a lot with fire around and hellish lazer attach you should pay lots of visits until getting used to it , and then will turn into long fun brawl .
2. Zulan ; I mean the alien one of course , now that boss for me theoretically the hardest one till now and even having blind spot and slow movement bullethell and lazers fix the problem , till now if i dont win in less a minute im doomed , he ruined looots of runs even second last Rush into Purity last week , I hate fighting against him but admire him every time I lose .... Talking about hatred
1. Hello ladies and gentlemen to my most controversial rank Lava Worm 🤣🤣 yeah for me he is the worst boss I will never get used to his scummy mechanic , now every invincible state bosses this invincibility state is tamed : Crabs have some seconds to heal , Ghost is weakness is being opened especially in sucking attack and his disappearance is 2 seconds at most etc , but this boss (maybe my RNG) most the time hidden in ground and every one second jump is rewarded with contact and area damage with bullet generator and stay like this 3-6 times until finally his majesty finished his attack and stay up , still not enough as fast as his attack finished either throw his second attack or already get back to ground to spam his favorite attack again , you rather get great damage dealing attacks and having sword in your sleeve or you gonna suffer several minutes playing hitting mole with him and preparing good defense with that time, as I said Zulan is technically most difficult boss but Lava Worm have this bad habit spamming his invincible attack , we can compere it with more advanced and better boss Ice one that literally delivers same attacks but in his own way , his invincibility attack are short and not stackable but still delivers danger in his own way unlike Lava counterpart .
Firstly i had low experience with Season bosses ; I began with that Island with choosing either stick or bow or sword and didnt even reached the bosses , Robot Frenzy was a fun one and defeated the boss in both normal and badass difficulties but lost interest after this victory , then the Journey to the west season was the most memorable and got monk Tang skin and the Ninja boss for some reason mostly with great HP i rarely killed him but time just ruined the difficulty by just stalling until you will without killing the boss and the new season i still didnt play yet .
Honorable mention : Crystal Crabs , That Robot with strange name , Guard Scarab , the Giant , Dark Grand Knight , Floating Ufo , Baby Dragon Bros , and new Ruins boss that rides Relic Rides .
Ok i pretty remember the of playing against the Warden, like every boss it has some struggles, but goddamm the nerf on this mf is probably the biggest nerf in the history of the game 💀

Imo iron pirate king level is easy in normal mode but very hard on badas .sir violet is much easier than laser flouting UFO for me. I couldn't beat UFO in badas even a single time but lost only one time to sir Violet even though I fought against him more than 8 times.Imo alchemist is best character for rush to purity because of his insane skill damage good overall stats and very useful buff.
