Hi do u know how to remove mat black ps tamiya clear coat from the out side off the rc 110scale car body shell
Try soaking it in a ziplock bag with some brake fluid should remove it if not there’s few paint strippers on the market you can try hope that helps

Hey it was just a random ribbon from a corner store 😅 no brand or anything but the best thing to do is go to a big crafts store and looks for something that looks like a tiny net/mesh material, I suggest something non plastic and I will upload a photo of the ribbon I used as a post on TH-cam if you want to check it out, hope that helps ✌️
@@JDMgram So, I finally tried it and it didn't come out as I thought. I sprayed too much silver and you were right about having the ribbon sit flat against the body. Otherwise, it would smear. I gave you thanks in the video though. :) Check it out.

Is the body made out of composite or other material?
Hi the body like most of rc body shells is made out of polycarbonate/lexan, in some cases like with RC rock crawlers you can buy ABS plastic body shells but for rc drift cars they don’t really cut it sine there not really flexible and crack on impact and are very heavy compared to a lexan body shell. You can have a look a loads of different bodies at rcmart.com ✌️

Yes they where but the body it self is terrible so can’t recommend it to anyone..

Hi what material do you make carbon from? Thank you
The “material” was used just as a template/stencil to paint the “carbon effect” and I used a ribbon that I had left from Xmas believe it or not 😜 if you will go to a crafts/arts shop you will find loads of them for few $ or less and honestly anything will work as long as it looks to scale 😉
Why do you put the black stripe on the outside?
Well it’s hard to tell if it’s going to look good with the black “panel line tape” so I prefer to do it from the outside so if I don’t like it I can always remove it, you can stick it from the inside after the body is painted cause you won’t see it 😜 if it was painted from the inside before the actual colour then I would be stuck with it even if I didn’t like it 😅
@@JDMgram I was thinking of painting the window trims on the outside. Maybe just trim the plastic from that area only first
i wish i was good as you in painting bodies. i do not have the confidence for this.

It’s a APlastics body and honestly it’s one of the worst bodies that I worked on... same with the boss s14 in my other vids(also made by them).. absolute waste of money cause of the quality!

I appreciate your honesty but the body isn’t finished yet.. the “window frames” and rest of the details will be done in the next and final part so you might want to wait till then before you say you don’t like it 😜✌️
