- In the video I am walking around the capital city area of the island of Curacao. Curacao is an independent country that is under the Kingdom of the Netherlands. There are two main areas of the Capital city. In this video I am in Otrobanda which is near the cruise ship terminal near Fort Rif. In my next video I will be on the other side called Punda.

I came in a little late and I was very tired. The places that I walked to around the bridge were closed. What I should have done is drive to a place I know is open for sure, like Denny's
Also in Punda behind the hotel? As these are often open late. But I always rent a car. Well at least hope you has enjoyed the island.

No, eat the local food of Curacao. That is for my best and delicious.
Of course, I agree. I was just shocked to hear that there was a Denny's there in the first place. I was born and raised in Curacao, and at that time there was no Denny's at all. Even so, I wouldn't stop there to eat unless i had to for some reason. The local food just rocks and is very delicious. Never pick an American chain-restaurant. Always shop and eat local. Local is best.
are hotels cheap here like in colombia?
Robert C They have quite a range of prices here. My Airbnb is about $45 a night. But, most places cost more.
