Haven’t been the biggest fan of petro Canada tunnel washes. The contact never seems to be enough, I always have so much grime left on my car. I tried this glide system not too long ago and it was horrible, when you look out the window you can see the marks where the brushes went by but it didn’t fully clean it!
Gas station touch washes in general I'm a little hesitant to use. The touchless ones can be OK, but for touch washes I prefer a dedicated car wash where it is actually maintained well. Petro Canada tunnel washes in general are set up poorly with too short a track to have enough sections to really get anything done.
Alpesh Mistry Go to the Monterey Park Petro Canada (I know you're in the SE but it's in the NE and is totally worth it.), they have a Belanger Kondor and it is fantastic.
I wonder if Petro Canada plans to expand this system? I was looking on the website to see if there was a location near me but I noticed all the glide washes with the exception of one in Ottawa are in the suburban Toronto cities. Be nice to have a few of these installed around Montreal.
Yea they are still a bit rare even around me. It must be a expensive upgrade for the owner. Or maybe they have been having problems with them. Or maybe they are just too expensive to maintain over the older ones. Not sure.
Belt conveyors are easier to use, but require more maintenance and make wheel cleaning nearly impossible. They are also over 2 times as expensive than standard roller-and-chain conveyors.
Another issue I have is that most car wash videos have a like to dislike ratio that isn't so good. A good amount of them have twice as many likes as dislikes.

Reviews By Vince That's not true. The brushes are rinsed with every rotation, so if they pick up grime it's instantly rinsed off.
