Everything looks so beautiful! What a wonderful tribute to your mom. My mom passed away several years ago. I was 24 years old at the time. I still miss her so much! But I know that she is in Heaven and I will see her again. When I saw the Cardinal in the snow globe it reminded me that some people believe that seeing a Cardinal at Christmas means that it is a special sign from your loved one that they are at peace. I love your tribute to your mama! This is our first year without our mom, I think I’ve mentioned in the past to you that we lost her on Mother’s Day. And then six weeks later I lost my little dog. It’s really been a tough season for us all. I live next-door to my parents so I’m with my dad nearly every night we have dinner together and then my sister and brother that live locally are there if not nearly every day a couple times a week and the brother and sister out of state call several times a week so we try to keep him occupied. I host a Christmas Tea and Cocoa every year and this last Sunday was my 27th year of hosting. I thought about not doing it, but remembered how much my mom absolutely loved it. So we held it in her honor this year and had my dad come, usually it’s just the girls in the family, along with my two grandsons, they’re always invited to anything I have. My son-in-law also joined us this year so it was nice just the family. Usually I have a couple friends that come as well. You said to choose what area of your living room was your favorite. That’s a hard choice because that view into it, that would just be where I would want to put a chair and just look into it, it’s so beautiful. But if I had to choose a spot it would be on the couch cuddled with your precious Holstein! I have to tell you I did fill out an application last week to possibly adopt a precious little dog. She’s part poodle and Shih Tzu. My Abby was a poodle. This little one was born in July and she’s only 5 pounds so she’s a tiny one. My Abby was 12 to 14 pounds. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I get this little girl. They said to be patient because it’s run by volunteers who have full-time jobs or part-time jobs. So I’m doing my best to do that. My niece and brother found her and my niece has contacted the woman around four times. I laughed and I said Lynn she said to be patient and she said well auntie I just want you to get her so bad. I said well if it’s meant to be it will be. Of course I am hoping and praying like crazy that I get her. Well as usual I ramble on forever I’m sorry. But I wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year!

Oh sweet sweet Rebekah, your home inside and out is absolutely gorgeous. I love all the lights and reds along with the gold, I love that combination for Christmas. Like everyone else the tribute to you mama was so very sweet. I thought she looked like a lovely, warm, and very kind lady. I know she is proud of you. You are so talented and so very sweet and seem like you have a gentle loving heart. The red poinsettia you sister gave reminded me of my mama. Anything red mama loved. I loved all your decor as you know but the mantel has to be my favorite part of the living room. The way you hung the ornaments over the table looks like a picture in a magazine. You are just so talented, I hope you don't get tired of me saying that. We are spending the first part of Christmas here at home and then later in the day we will gather presents and goodies and go to my daughter and her husband's home for dinner. We too have turkey and ham, potato salad fruit salad and veggies and rolls and eat desserts and goodies till we pop, spend time with them and the other 4 of our grandchildren along with the 2 we have. We have a grandson who is in the army. Not sure if we will see him. Rebekah the tears came when I seen the pictures of Holstein when he was a baby. He is such a sweet baby boy. You ask for an area in your living room that I like is hard to choose but the Tree is stunning, tall and full. I also love the fireplace. We finish our Christmas decoration outside and inside. We have the longest Christmas celebration. We are Puerto Rican American family. We continue with our traditions. For Dinner: Arroz con Gandules (Puerto Rican Rice with Pigeon Peas) Pernil (Pork with the crunchy skin) Guineitos Escabeche (Green small bananas boil it and put Onion, Garlic, Olive oil, white Vinegar, Laurel Leaves and Olives. Salt and Pepper. My husband makes Pasteles. For Dessert I make Flan. I buy Turron Alicante hard Nugget. I love the Crunchy one. Drinks: Coquito, Rose Appe Cider. Baby Hotstein is so Precious. My mom loves birds and I keep her feeders full so she can watch them and I decorated her room at the nursing home with red birds and snowmen. I added a simmer pot, which smells wonderful! My 3 kids and their families always come for Christmas Eve lasagna and seafood! 7 grandchildren…so it gets a bit exciting! But I know that she is in Heaven and I will see her again. When I saw the Cardinal in the snow globe it reminded me that some people believe that seeing a Cardinal at Christmas means that it is a special sign from your loved one that they are at peace. I love your tribute to your mama! This is our first year without our mom, I think I’ve mentioned in the past to you that we lost her on Mother’s Day. And then six weeks later I lost my little dog. It’s really been a tough season for us all. I live next-door to my parents so I’m with my dad nearly every night we have dinner together and then my sister and brother that live locally are there if not nearly every day a couple times a week and the brother and sister out of state call several times a week so we try to keep him occupied. I host a Christmas Tea and Cocoa every year and this last Sunday was my 27th year of hosting. I thought about not doing it, but remembered how much my mom absolutely loved it. So we held it in her honor this year and had my dad come, usually it’s just the girls in the family, along with my two grandsons, they’re always invited to anything I have. My son-in-law also joined us this year so it was nice just the family. Usually I have a couple friends that come as well. You said to choose what area of your living room was your favorite. That’s a hard choice because that view into it, that would just be where I would want to put a chair and just look into it, it’s so beautiful. But if I had to choose a spot it would be on the couch cuddled with your precious Holstein! I have to tell you I did fill out an application last week to possibly adopt a precious little dog. She’s part poodle and Shih Tzu. My Abby was a poodle. This little one was born in July and she’s only 5 pounds so she’s a tiny one. My Abby was 12 to 14 pounds. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I get this little girl. They said to be patient because it’s run by volunteers who have full-time jobs or part-time jobs. So I’m doing my best to do that. My niece and brother found her and my niece has contacted the woman around four times. I laughed and I said Lynn she said to be patient and she said well auntie I just want you to get her so bad. I said well if it’s meant to be it will be. Of course I am hoping and praying like crazy that I get her. Well as usual I ramble on forever I’m sorry. But I wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year!

Oh sweet sweet Rebekah, your home inside and out is absolutely gorgeous. I love all the lights and reds along with the gold, I love that combination for Christmas. Like everyone else the tribute to you mama was so very sweet. I thought she looked like a lovely, warm, and very kind lady. I know she is proud of you. You are so talented and so very sweet and seem like you have a gentle loving heart. The red poinsettia you sister gave reminded me of my mama. Anything red mama loved. I loved all your decor as you know but the mantel has to be my favorite part of the living room. The way you hung the ornaments over the table looks like a picture in a magazine. You are just so talented, I hope you don't get tired of me saying that. We are spending the first part of Christmas here at home and then later in the day we will gather presents and goodies and go to my daughter and her husband's home for dinner. We too have turkey and ham, potato salad fruit salad and veggies and rolls and eat desserts and goodies till we pop, spend time with them and the other 4 of our grandchildren along with the 2 we have. We have a grandson who is in the army. Not sure if we will see him. Rebekah the tears came when I seen the pictures of Holstein when he was a baby. He is such a sweet baby boy. You ask for an area in your living room that I like is hard to choose but the Tree is stunning, tall and full. I also love the fireplace. We finish our Christmas decoration outside and inside. We have the longest Christmas celebration. We are Puerto Rican American family. We continue with our traditions. For Dinner: Arroz con Gandules (Puerto Rican Rice with Pigeon Peas) Pernil (Pork with the crunchy skin) Guineitos Escabeche (Green small bananas boil it and put Onion, Garlic, Olive oil, white Vinegar, Laurel Leaves and Olives. Salt and Pepper. My husband makes Pasteles. For Dessert I make Flan. I buy Turron Alicante hard Nugget. I love the Crunchy one. Drinks: Coquito, Rose Appe Cider. Baby Hotstein is so Precious. Well, I am bawling. It doesn't take much at all these days, but that's ok! Loved seeing another picture of your sweet mama! She is most definitely proud of you! I remember after I did my collab with Liz, I cried because she told me to shine on and it reminded me of my mom.
