out of the many youtubers out there, Obi you are greatly and easily the most relatable. i’ve watch you over some years now, and to see your growth has been influential and i appreciate that you have been vulnerable enough to share your experience with us. keep doing what your doing. i think i can speak for all of us when i say we’re rooting for you
I learned to swim at 27/28 it wasn't easy I definitely wanted to quit on a regular basis but it was one of the best things I ever did and now I love the water and still go at my regular lesson time. It takes a LONG time to see improvement so be patient with yourself and trust your teacher. My biggest advances came when I got a one to one teacher alongside my group class so I was swimming twice a week. I'm no olympian but a new world has been unlocked for me so well done for jumping in the deep (or shallow) end! Looking forward to see you progress!
Obi, as an Aussie who lives by the beach, I am overjoyed that you are taking steps to learn to swim. Stick with the lessons and you will get there. Swimming is such a wonderful thing to do, and think of the adventures you'll have as you continue your travels. Love your blogs mate. It always makes me happy tuning in to what you do. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, STU in Byron Bay
Well done for facing your fears with swimming. I love swimming, been a water baby since birth, now I'm nearly 30 and I feel more at home in the pool then I do in the gym. been trying to help my mum who's in her 60s get more comfortable in water with swimming as she has mobility issues like me and I find that swimming is the best workout for me, I know it would help her as its low impact but she's waiting too long to start getting lessons in the pool and now is reluctant to. I respect your effort to learn now. I personally don't think it's ever too late to learn a new skill or conquer a fear. hopefully I can help mum with her fear of swimming. Good luck with your lessons don't give up. and for what it's worth I'm not comfortable with swimming in open water, not because of drowning as much as a fear of fish touching me and me freaking out 😂
My dope bro I’m also a fitness and lifestyle vlogger from Ghana, west Africa so I can relate so well. I always love your stunning visuals and cinematography, lovely music, great workout. Beautiful views! Keep creating Obi !!!!!😊
Really love how you take us through every detail of your workouts and train to share good knowledge. I will definitely push past my limits and start using these workouts during my training periods! Keep it up Obi! 💪😄
The other day I’m catching up with my brother, we’re talking about fitness and travel and I say I watch this guy named Obi Vincent (my bro and dad are named Vincent) and he says him too! It was cute 🥰
I now understand my wife's excitement for a new episode of her favorite series on Netflix because I get the same excitement when Obi uploads a new episode 😂
I know where you’re coming from. Back when I was in my single digits around 8-9 years old the school used to take us for swim lessons and one of the things they got us to do was stretch out holding the side with our face down in the pool. As I did that the kid next to me jumped on top and pushed me under and even though it was a mere second or 2 it felt like minutes. I got out that day and never went back in. I tried swim lessons at 42 and I just couldn’t do it. If you get over your fear and learn to swim you have my respect. Best of luck
Obi don’t feel bad about not knowing how to swim (sadly I don’t either and truly want to learn one day, though I will say I have always loved the pool) you can do this, I believe in you. Blessings 🤙🏾🥰✨!!!
Having low testosterone is something we dont pay much attention to, but it is the reason why our motivation is low and progress is slow, I found great ways to improve my test levels in this book, it helped me out and now im on my journey to become a better man The book that Im talking about is "You are stronger than you think" from Borlest
Great vlog as always :) Looking to start swimming lessons myself at some point. I get the embarrassment as it feels like everyone else can swim and you're the only that cant :( I'm 100% sure you will over come your fear and then incorporate swimming into your lifestyle 💪
Kudos for facing your fear Obi, my daughter had a similar experience, I’m helping her overcome it by simply turning the swimming pool into a fun place only until she becomes more confident to want to swim again. Oh can you tell me the last songs name please on this vid? Can’t find it anywhere but want it for my workout tunes 👌🏻
I've gone through several stages of my training. I've been very bulky and muscular (6'2 240 pounds) and i've been lean as well. I prefer the way I feel with less muscle mass and more cardio. I feel less heavy and I breathe better. I don't think big muscles translates into good health anymore, a healthy balance is better.
Time is the most value think in this life and congrats bcuz you know this bro. When you smiling and happy you looking amazing, thanks for this positive video 😇
You would be a good swimmer cause of your upper body strength so I hope you learn the basics cause you will surely excel and literally swim a lot more .super good workout in those Olympic size pools.🤍🌅
