Lego Nexo Knights ended with a villan walking away with a mysterious stone. Also, the creators talked about stuff to happen for a season 5, even updating the mobile game with said stuff, but never making mote episodes.
Disney really screwed themselves with how they ended Spectacular Spider-Man too soon. Maybe if the WB Network wasn’t cancelled, it would’ve lasted 5 seasons. Also, if X-Men can continue with the ‘97 Spinoff, there’s always hope that Specs can be reborn, but let’s hope it’ll be sooner than later.
They won’t. The ratings didn’t register on the Nielsen report at all. That’s not a good thing at all.
Spectacular Spider-Man getting cancelled wasn’t even the network’s fault. It was Disney for being so greedy, buying out Marvel and not letting Sony finish the rest of the show.
Personally, every show that is now in Disney’s hands may never see the light of day again because of their own actions and incompetence with handling of their IPs. I wish that wasn’t true, but with a few of these shows that I have noticed already I see clear reasons why they were ended as they were - lack of marketing and merchandise availability. How many of these shows have games, clothes, toys (not adult ones you owl house fans), etc.?
Yeahhh, that’s what I’m talking about now. You understand the point of my comment. It sucks that many of your favorite shows are gone now and probably won’t ever return because of red tape stupidity (see Disney for example and the megas XLR fiasco at CN). Main reason why they didn’t work out was because they couldn’t sell stuff to offset the cost of the show production costs itself. It’s economics 101 but with customer service stuff instead of government stuff.

I like open ending. So we can comeback to them and be interested in the future of the canon. I hate show that lay out the characters futures. It just guard creativity.
