Can you please explain the part of 6=1+11e^-k(0.5) on how to solve it up to k=1.577?

5=11e^-0.5k
5/11 = e^-0.5k
Take ln of both sides
ln (5/11) = ln e^-0.5k
-0.788 = -0.5k
K = -0.788/-0.5
K= 1.577
