Here to say it again: We need CSL Pedals loadcell kit availability and pricing asap. There's no adequately priced pedals to go with the new DD. We can't race pushing buttons on our keyboards or wheels. Thanks!
No problem on PC since you can use any pedal set seperately.
I would just continue using my T-LCM pedals.
But i agree this wheel needs a bundle with a CSL grade loadcell pedal set and the Mclaren GT3 wheel.
This!!! I've been using the new CSL pedals without a clutch while waiting for the load cell pedal to release! Still radio silence from fanatec. hopefully they announce it before i get my CSL DD in January...

I have a Xbox and i ve bought a used Csl DD LoadCell and Rally probably bundle.
Everything works properly and i am sure there are not fault in the wheel, however the Wheel only turns 180 degrees in every game i have such as Acc, Forza, Rally wheel ect...
Can someone give me an advice?
Also the LoadCell makes my breaking very inconsistent as it break too fast and harsh despite i adjust the sensitivity in the games.

hello I have a question I was playing on a base TS-XW tlcm crankset and sf1000 wheel... I have my TS-XW base which failed me I had to buy another base., and I wanted a direct Drive if it ever failed me no matter what Either I would have changed one day or another..., knowing that this is my first Direct Drive..., I have the famous question that everyone is asking..., I bought the CSL DD base 5 nm and I'm waiting for my Maclaren wheel on Monday.. I'm missing the crankset but I don't want to buy one knowing that I already have the tlcm.. I play on a new generation Xbox series S on assetto Corsa competition.. my question is this my McLaren wheel my Fanatec CSL DD bass. And!!! my tlcm pedalboard.??? will it work if I play on console..??
I look forward to PS5 compatibility, to play GT7 by assigning all the keys available on my steering wheel as on ACC. The day when my request is available I order it immediately.

Yeah this base is for pc and xbox. You need the ps compatible version coming at a later date
@@fishingninja PS compatibility is part of the wheel base or not, it either has it or not. Xbox on the other hand is determined by the wheel.
We are waiting at the channel for this to drop for PlayStation 5 so we can review for gt7. Most anticipated peripheral for a console in a long time for us racers. Want to be one of the first reviews of this for the PS. 💪🙏😎

Also on Dirt Rally 2.0 the sequential shifter doesn't work, only the H Pattern even if i change the set up.

Hello I have the ps5 version of the CSL DD PRO . The question I have is my base is on my sim rig for my pc games. However I have a ps5 . For me to run them both and switch over easily can I use a usb hub instead of pulling the cable every time ? If so which hub please . .
Can I just use the steering and CSL DD or do I HAVE to get pedals too?
I know the e-switch isn't needed for this but is it compatible none the less? Cheers.
Will the DD have a high power mode with the boost kit, as in, needing a proper wheel quick release that allows you to have full power on bases like the DD1/2?
CSL DD has no torque limit.

as soon as @Fanatec makes one for ps5 and pc i will jump on it. i wish it will be real soon cus i really want a dd wheel but dont want to buy two bases and old wheel is lacking stronger feedback

It would boost your sales if you'd make an SDK for your Xbox wheelbases and wheels. It makes absolutely no sense buying your gear for xbox if the led's and displays won't work.
Thrustmaster is soon releasing a pc dd wheelbase and we'll probably get one for the consoles also in a year or two. Until then you have the opportunity to drag many of the thrustmaster customers over to fanatec. If you miss it, i'll bet you'll regret it in the long term, when dd is available for the Thrustmaster eco-system AND with fully implemented led and telemetry data available. Sf1000 is only the beginning.
Step up fanatec and show us you really want to be the king in the world of sim racing!
Well, at least I learned that the collar on the base of the shaft will not hit the switches on the CS Static shifters, but I still want to see them mounted on the CSL DD and in use with the WRC rim. Of course the paddles on the WRC should be removed. I'm wondering how far the paddles will be from the back of the steering wheel, and how the throw looks and feels with the static shifter set? If Fanatec has footage of the static shifters in use, or anyone has such footage, I would appreciate the chance to view it.

I have a problem with my fanatec dd, the base and the pedals I reconnected them without problem, but I insert the maclaren gt3 v2 ring and it does not reconnect me as said wheel recognizes it as an xbox one wheel and no button works, I have everything updated to the latest version, and the base is in pc mode (red light) it is a problem that the hoop is defective

Do the t-nuts come with the wheel base
Is there a solution for this issue, when I plug my fanatec shifter into the csl dd base , the steering wheel just say calibration ? After the calibrating the shifter in the fanatec software nothing work ( wheel and shifter ) its still say calibration on the steering wheel ( the wrc one ). If I plug the shifter with the usb adapter everything work.

Can I attach P1 Xbox wheel to CSL DD base ?
Do I need to buy new table clamp because I have table clamp for old CSL Elite base ?

Yes all P1 wheels are compatible with the CSL DD. The CSL Elite table clamp is not compatible with the CSL DD. If you want to clamp it to a table you will need the new CSL DD Table Clamp.
Are there any more planned licensed car manufacturer wheels? I prefer your wheels that are replicates of real cars. Maybe do a collaboration with Ferrari/Mercedes? There is no new licenced round wheels currently.
Using CSL DD on Series X for ACC. Obviously, as widely known I have very weak FFB in Xbox mode. Could I power the Xbox up using the CSL DD in Xbox mode, start the game. Then once on the track change to CSW 2.5 Compat mode for better/full FFB?
Just got the dd myself and im having issues as well. I cant even get the wheel and pedals to work. Very frustrating

So if I'm getting this right, if I plug a Xbox rim/wheel into a only Playstation marketed compatible wheel base, I can use it on Xbox?
You slid the base forwards on those T nuts. What keeps it from being pulled backwards? How does the base lock in place?
The friction on the T-nuts once tightened is very strong.
@@domb_fanatec2826 Is the only place to turn down the overall FFB of the unit on that tuning menu when hooked to a PC? There's no way I want all 8nm. Or do you leave it at 100% on the base and adjust on the rim as before with the V2.5?
@@Jezza819 Tuning Menu is accessed in the same way. You can adjust it on the steering wheel via the Tuning Button. The Tuning Menu visible on PC is exactly the same as the one you see on the steering wheel - in fact you can watch the sliders move on your PC as you adjust it on your wheel, and vice versa.
My finger is over the "buy" button ready to hit "yes" when the ps5 version hits.

You did not mention that the DD is compatible with the Cubs sport table clamp.

I saw this and imagine like "PlayStation? PlayStation?" even though I know they said it's not gonna happen. But something tells me a PlayStation-compatible CSL DD is gonna come out alongside GT7.
they're definitely working on it, hopefully it will make the launch of GT7. The developers of GT7 (Polyphony Digital) have stated that now Fanatec is the official ffb wheel for the game, (that honor used to be held by Logitech) so it's just a matter of time. PS5 wheelbase + Xbox wheel + PC compatibility means one wb to rule them all!! :)

On the xbox note - any plans to unlock all the functionality of my Formula V2 wheel with my console? It's frustrating that I can't use all of the features this wheel has to offer after spending a pretty penny on it. Any update on this would be great, thank you.
Isn't that just a limitation of the way Xbox handles controller/wheel inputs? I doubt fanatec can "unlock" that.
@@thebirdman99 You're probably right. Would be great if they could work with Microsoft to unlock it. I don't have a great understanding of this but it would be great if this happened.
@@thebirdman99 end of the day the xbox is just a custom PC with an OS based on Windows so why can't a driver be written?
@@daveleebond It seems Fanatec has used the limited inputs response as an excuse. Turns out Logitech wrote a custom SDK for the G923 and had ACC integrate it to use all the buttons and rev lights. So I guess Fanatec just doesn't find it worth their effort unfortunately.

I have read on some forums that led lights, lcd screen, rotary encoders and some others buttons dont work on xbox consoles, be aware if you consider buying!
What when I dont have a PC? I have only Xbox Series X. In my order have CSL DD, CSL Elite Pedals and wheel Clubsport Formula V2.5X. I need PC?
No, you don’t need a PC

Why is it that PS need a dedicated wheelbase, is it on Sonys end or Fanatec? Mean, Xbox just need seperate wheel, not the whole base
They're doing a collaboration with gran turismo since fanatec is now the official brand partner and they dropped thrustmaster, other from that the csl elite wheel base was compatible with all 3 platforms but they don't manufacture it anymore since they wanna push direct drive

Hi William, the original Formula Carbon wheel does not have updatable firmware, therefore you just need to ensure your wheel base firmware is up to date.
why ony the dd pro base is not avaible in 5 nm? only in 8? i dont want to buy the bundle.
What if you don’t have a computer or a laptop to do the software updates and you only have a Xbox? Can you do software updates on xbox
you can't update the hardware via xbox. but in almost all cases you would be able to play on xbox as long as you have a xbox-licensed steering wheel paired with a fanatec wheel base.
I have CSL DD, Clubsport Formula V2.5X for Xbox. Xbox One X - Rev lights, gear on screen not working. On Xbox Series X, rev lights and gear lihgt not working too... 😒

Csl DD and formula v2.5x wheel on a Xbox works only as an ordinary Xbox controller. Nothing more, rev.leds and speed notification, extra buttons are complete absent.
Has anyone seen the Xbox series s recognize the WRC wheel in the home screen but not work once the game is launched?
I hope the PS compatible CSL DD will not only come bundled with that leaked GT7 wheel. Give us the option to buy it on its own too or bundled with a Universal Hub please!

The lack of knowing what is going on with PS compatibility and approaching GT7 release, and product shortages, leaves you thinking an alternative is a better idea for now.

I would not recommend the lite, looks quite weak for 5nM or 8 nM. Probably de V2 is a good choice.. I don't know a lot of wheelstands but you have a nice one at custom cockpits web

Why, Sony? Why can't our racing products just work with all platforms (which cost less than the peripherals) just because you're worried about logos and security chips. What was wrong with the old CSR Elite that worked with both X360 and PS3 (and Project CARS on PS4 for some reason)?
You can't have an Xbox and Playstation logo on the same box otherwise it would cause a tear in the space-time continuum and all life would end as we know it.
DD pro for the PS5 should be 9nm of power or more

Fanatec to be avoided in 2024. 15 days of waiting after ordering (still that, it's fine), but CSL DD base broken down after 2 days. No more news from the after-sales service for 3 weeks, and no more news from the shop when I exercised my right of withdrawal. FANATEC is a horror and doesn't give a damn about its customers. I can't wait to hear from them and get my money back so I can go to Moza 😉
if you read the comments here, it would better for fanatec to not release console hardware. The users will wreck your nerves completely.

Misleading info, going off this video you would think all functions work on Xbox. No Led display etc, other companies have found a way around this !!
They have the absolute worst customer service.
I have an issue with my CSL DD clonking (with a brand new base and a brand new wheel) and they're telling me it’s a gap default on their product.
I buy a metal quick release the next day, following their instructions, I transfer the funds the very same day, send them an email about it. Only thing I did is follow their instructions step by step.
Nothing happens for 10 days, I follow up, they’re telling me “it’s a bug in their system” and it will be shipped next morning and today they're telling me they are not shipping any order for two weeks due to physical inventory count.
Oh Julia from customer service would like to offer a 11 euros shipping voucher on my next order...
Some false information in here regarding the compatibility with wheel rims. The new mclaten wheel and other csl rims come with the new plastic twist quick release system. These are not compatible with the csl dd as they slip when u der force. This issue has been ignored so far by fanatec. But they definitely are aware of the issue. All customers supplied with the plastic twist QR should be given a metal QR as compensation.
Hi Paul, this is not correct. The QR1 Lite Wheel-Side is fully compatible with the CSL DD. We are aware of the small number of users who experienced issues with this. Anyone who has a problem with their QR1 Lite should contact Fanatec support.

In a real car the wheel is forced back to the center after turning a 90 degree corner !
This rarely happens in games and sims which is a bit sad !
