H&J are from a time when you could enjoy taking a bully for a ride. When you needed to laugh at the rich because you could never imagine or pretend you would become one of them, although you might have to deal with their bodyguards. Now they remain mostly hidden. The sanest cartoons were the zany ones from this time. I remember what it was like and H&J helped.
Definitely for sure, especially when there's other classic cartoons that are hilarious like Looney Tunes, Tom and jerry, Tex Avery cartoons Etc and so on so forth. I've enjoyed these shows since I was little. But as an 18 year old today, I still enjoy these classics, even after many years. I would even watch them with my friends though.
The part where Heckle and Jeckle suck up all the water from the swimming pool reminds me of a similar crop in The Five Chinese Brothers where the first brother swallowed all the water in the ocean, only he spits it back out after a short period of time.
In Cuban 's Spanish: "Las Dos Urracas", One of my favorites cartoon back in the dayz! (Cuba, 1960's) I did not speak/understand a word in English but like all the others kids in the hood we sat down every late afternoon to watch "Los Muñequitos" (Cartoons) on national tv (Canal 6)
I hope they release these entire series on dvd . But I seen some that look.older and these look newer so not sure if it was brought back later on or not. But I want every episode
