This video is a audio version of the TWAB - The background footage was me Solo DPS test crunching for a 'updated' solo flawless vespers host later on in the week. The clips are on a loop and are merely there so the is no blank screen.
I usually watch Aztecross for the TWAB, but I gotta say I like this format more. Just going over the changes and giving your takes on them, without reading all the fluff. Not saying this to throw shade towards Aztecross. I hope you continue with these.
Appreciate your insights. Some thoughts: - I think you're sleeping on the exotic class glaive buffs. 1 They all have champ stuns now. 2 They build charge on melee hits now and not just ammo shots so you can get the special shot for free. 3 it no longer consumes shield energy for special shot so you don't have to pick between the special shot or having shield energy. I think the warlock glaive for example will be really good for boss damage and neutral gameplay. It's like running speakers sight but freeing up your exotic slot and can be used on any subclass. - I'll be another to thank you for the phomethium/starfire build. It's awesome and will be even more awesome next episode! - Why do you consider Chaos Reach to be a top 5 super? Just cause Geomags are so good? - I predict the ACrius buffs will massively increase it's effective range. Exited to see what it can get done - The destabilizing Rounds buff sounds like it also gives anti-barrier which is nice as it's been the only one to not give subclass champ stun. - Caretaker is craftable and can get flash counter. From S20. You can craft it with incandescent, surrounded, or valiant charge which could be an interesting synergy
I love these audio breakdowns. Works perfectly for me while I'm at work to pop in a headset and catchup. Always a lover of your content Chablo. .. keep it commin🤜🏾🤛🏻
12:24 I see this as a big nerf to ursa. You can already sprint/swap cancel to refund the unbreakable energy, potentially up to max charge, effectively enabling you to cast the shield back to back, easily gaining 20% super energy each time in any content expert and up. Which IMO is a better Benefit than being able to block and release the blast more often.
Great video as they always are and great to get a breakdown. Just wanted to know is under 5k active and 2k afk in 2 years qualify me to know bit about the game as always think im not good enough. Even tho i have solo gm and dungeons and done most the game and a bit of gm matchgame. Sorry for the long comment just wanted to know the ruff hour gane play a vet has. And thanks for you info over the yrs as helped my game massively.
The sad thing about the exotic class glaive changes is that they’re actually a massive nerf, not a buff. Bungie’s doubling the number of hits required to charge the special shot from 3 to 6. They’re basically cutting the power of the glaives in half, it’s brutal.
I wasnt really looking at those. Tbh never waste a exotic slot on a exotic glaive. The exception is Vexcalibur. Vexcalibur is potentially the best glaive in the game. I hear you on the class item glaives, i honestly think they shouldn't have been created, something else would have been better like exotic class weapons like in D1.
@ Believe it or not, the class glaives are actually pretty decent right now. It’s a shame you never got to use them much in their strongest state. After Edge of Intent got buffed in Final Shape, all 3 class glaives were solid low A tier picks. Not gonna lie, I relied on them a decent amount to tackle harder content. It’ll be a real shame to see them go.
Why isn’t pyrogayle on the Exotic class item? Would be great since they are nerfing consecration it would be nice to have those flame cyclones for a spirit.
Unbreakable might go super crazy... It will already spend only 50% of your grenade energy at base and now ursa will just top it off. That's combined with all the other buffs it will get
Finally I can eat! I'm looking forward to being a 8/8 trample Titan. All excess damage goes straight to the opponent, right? Jokes aside, trample will make Fists of Havoc a consideration.
@Chablo91 I think it's exactly the same as on console, I couldn't adjust to keyboard and mouse after playing on controller since the original Nintendo. The only real downside is in pvp, good m&k players have better aim and can look around and in all directions faster, and when they jump over your head you have a job to follow them quick enough with your aim. I still do ok tho and there are good pvp players that play controller too, it's more preference than anything on pc
They nerf everything because of PVP but years ago they said they did back end changes so they could balance the game separately PVP and PVE were separate and could be balanced separately but that's just not true. They nerf everything because of PVP or because something is just fun and good and they can't have that.
I know you're a PvE player only but to me, Trample allowed me as a Striker to wipe a team in their spawn, flip the spawn then run all the way across the Crucible map and wipe them again. It was broken as all hell 🤣
So here is my issues. PS5 will not allow for recording of a internet browser i.e bungie net My Laptop does not work well with audio equipment so my commentary will be terrible So my solution is just to read the twab from my phone for quickness. I haven't got all day to add the twab to the video. Albeit this twab was huge.
@@yol_n this video is the highest watch time i have seen not views but watch time. So it didn't matter that there was no twab on screen. What matters is the voice that is it. Ps5 yeah its awkward
Ohh no i was joking around don't worry. So it was bungie's fault for not separating PVE /PVP sandbox changes since 2017. Its only of the last 2 to 3 years have they been balancing PVP and PVE separate. There is residue though and old PVP nerfs have affected PVE for years.
I wish glaives kill counter would include the melee function. Also would be nice to clear a loadout slot in game...even name them in game. Edit: YT doesn't let me reply. Oh no, I've started using glaives a lot lately and love them! To clarify I want my glaive kill counter in pve to include the melee kills I get with it. I like looking at how many kills my guns have, I'm a simple man. The other comment was about the 10 loadout slots for saving different builds, I wish I could clear/delete them in game...it starts getting a bit messy. But now that you mention a 4 weapon loadout... 🤔
So are you wanting a 4 weapon system do elaborate please? It sounds like you are saying when you equip a glaive you dont value it and want another special equipped like a fusion etc. Im not making fun I just wanna hear what you mean.

It's looking like your filaments/ Starfire build will be cooking even harder with that buff.
that real caught my eye 😉
Literally got that exact roll as I was reading the twab earlier. Was so hyped lol
Have they fixed spirit of filaments yet? It doesnt proc devour like half the time

Tnx for the insights
Love sandbox videos. A lot of cool changes coming.
Thank you Lord Chablo

Just want to say your treasure to community mate and appreciate all you do.

Verity might help the new warlock as it does buff Gunpowder gamble. But I’d still probably lean more towards Geos.

Hopefully the elemental damage from Incan, D.Rounds, and Jolting Feedback will count as hits. It will def be a nerf if not.

@ Even if they do, which I highly doubt, knowing Bungie, it wouldn’t be reliable or consistent, so it would still be a nerf anyways.
