July 1st, 2019 I was released from prison after serving 17 yrs. During those 17 yrs I went through so much with my soul. Was in the darkness until September of 2014.. was called out!!! Went from being a hate filled man that worshiped satan to a man that was willing to fight this good fight of faith. Run this race with grace on my side. Is is hard?? You best believe it!! Faith is not easy!! It takes patience, humbleness, and lots of letting go and letting God. I have not touched drugs in 5yrs. And it all because of Christ that works in me. I'm out in this world now putting my life together, and it's so scary but whom shall I fear if God is for me?? That goes for all of us! I love yall so much. And I want yall to know I am here for yall.. what we have to do is pray.. that's our best weapon...

Fill your life with Jesus! Fill your timelines and everything...he is with you...the more you let him in the more you will see! Let him be with you...we as humans as ourselves are so stubburn to let him into our mind, body, and soul spiritually ....trust me...I was there broken deeper than I want to admit....but kept going day after day...pondering...is he real..no he isn't...why...why would Jesus let me go thru all this.....?! Sweetie...you will understand and he will show you the reasons even for the hardest or more horrific times in your life! He will let you see if you really really let yourself go to God! Jesus is Lord...the only son of God! Because of how broken I am Jesus allowed me to see ...at my very lowest in my life....he ..Jesus...gave me his angel of peace...Archangel Michael...who I knew absolutely nothing about. Pray sweetie! Hopefully this message finds you better than 3 years ago when you wrote it...but for all those reading...and broken...PRAY...PRAY....look up fasting for Jesus...be cautious because Satan is real and preys on our minds and is devious and sneaky. You are NOT your sin! You...me...everyone...CAN be forgiven by Jesus...pray..Go to him...ask him to show you! Your timing will happen...do not stop praying! It took me 36 years of sin doubt, assurance,confusion, lostness, brokenness, happiness...36 years filled of ...stuff...to finally see hear feel and truly get all my crying answers of prayers of "why" that i prayed for so long. Do not cease praying....
I suffer with depression, high levels of anxiety and panic attacks. When life gets hard and I feel overwhelmed. I cry out to god and listen to songs like this one that speaks of his power and I just feel this since of peace. It's so amazing Thank you god for carrying and never leaving my side.

I had recently let God back into my life. This song is exactly how I feel. I've tried to commit suicide, be someone I wasnt, let depression take over my life, did drugs, drank a lot of alcohol and denied my father. I'm so blessed to have him back into my heart! So that individuals won't feel that they are Lost Souls...trying to live up to religious expectations, but rather than investing time and building a relationship in knowing the TRUE God.
There's was a time in my life when I didn't want to listen to Jesus. I went the opposite way of God. I was addicted to drugs and so many bad things happened to me. I was scared and never felt so alone. I knew I messed up and I decided to ignore the issue than ask God to forgive me. I thought I was too far gone. There came a day where I said, Lord, I'm done being selfish. I want you in my life again. I was ready to come back home and He took me back. I was ready to listen to Him and let Him have complete control. I was safe now and ready to live my new life with Jesus by my side. Jesus saved me! I will always be forever greatful for His mercy and His unconditional love.
I've been so ready for him for my entire adult life. It took my wife to leave for me to stop living my life thru her. I hit rock bottom and God came to me and in me. He wasn't satisfied until I surrendered to him. I've never been happier. I may be lonely at times but I will never walk alone again. I feel a peace in me...that I didn't know existed.

+Lady Heart: First of all I want to say That I love you. Not because OF who you are, or because we are supposed to love one another. Not even for my self righteous assurance that I can love someone I have never known in this life. But because of your words. Which say a lot about you, what you're going through and how that resonates with a lot of us. There is soooo much we don't know about Deity, messengers and everything else around and including us, and THere is soooo much information that is still in the dark and will never be explained. If WE cannot see how hope is relevant to us, even after "death", then Of course everything will seem hopeless. I have been there. I have doubted Literally everything I have ever made to believe. And it is with that limited amount of understanding that sadly most of us go through life without seeking something more than what we are taught. Until you hit rock bottom.... (whatever that means to you)... And it was at that point that I decided to seek answers for myself. Not through a friend, not through my folks, or family, Definitely not through the various churches and religions that i have studied. Simply through the incredible power of intention. To have a basic intention to seek answers. For myself and nobody else. With no guilt about my past, with no expectations or pre-conceived notions about what i thought I knew. Basically with no judgments. Then you start to see little things. To Notice how something is guiding your hand to the things that you need exactly at the moment. Then you know you're off to a good start. Its ironic How for a lot of people, life starts after such episodes, which come in the latter part of our lives. But we are never taught to look out for those episodes of opportunity. If you need to give up, Do. but Do your research on how that affects you in an esoteric level. If you feel like holding on, Do. You will always have the support you need even if its not so obvious. Whatever you need at this very moment, know that it is already in the works and happening. There is no outcome for you that was not already meant to be. Which could either incite your feelings of powerlessness or inspire peace knowing that there is no wrong decision you could make. But its up to you which feeling you feed. "Your life is not falling apart, It's falling into place" (Casting Crowns) I know its very hard to find an answer to an equation if you were never given the formula on how to solve it, but Life only wants you to know that THERE is an Answer, not to solve it. And to find inspiration in it. Because it will be revealed to us ALL. In the end it will be revealed. And that end may not necessarily come at the time of your death in this earthly realm..

This life is a confusing test, and every person on earth has failed it. Jesus gave us a one questions retest if you take it or not its up to you. My mother died a couple weeks ago, and a friend posted this song on facebook. My dad and I both immediately started crying as we listened to it, because I really think my mom was ready to join God. We had to stop it at one point because it was too much, but I just listened to it all the way through and it brings my heart both joy and sorrow. Sorrow, because I miss her so much. Joy, because I know she's at peace and home with her heavenly father. Thank you.

I wish I could let my walls down, but I just don't want to. I did for awhile but life got harder and harder and now I'm still lost. I wish I wasn't so obsessed with the world, and I could hear God's voice all around me so I could listen to him and only him. I get scared because I don't trust in him. It hurts but will hurt more if I don't. People say it is hard but never talk about how hard EACH THING is. I want to be able to hear him, but my walls are up and I'm too obsessed with worldly pleasure and worldly stability. It is hard to switch from worldly stability to complete heavenly stability. I have a hard time finding stability in trust in people let alone an invisible and nonverbal God. I just wanna be happy. God has helped me become so much better, but I am still so sad and stability-deprived. I feel like I am doig something wrong but too scared to leave my old ways and fix myself. I can't feel the Holy Spirits presence like I used to. I haven't been truly content and happy in a long time, but I feel like God can give me that. Despite all this, I know one thing for certain; God is real and can teach you to be a better person. I wish God would appear to me and teach me everything especially when I am confused. It is so hard to keep trying.

From my own experience Annalee-- I wasn't 'really' letting go. I thought I was. Being 'ready' and taking that total leap of faith is not the same IN MY EXPERIENCE. When I really let go- I was overcome by the Holy Spirit & continued to feel His presence as I prayed and talk to God daily-thanking Him for everything-from the snow to the birds, as things came into my view- I felt His presence He became my close friend Sadly, a couple of years ago I became caught up in life, Jesus took a back burner and my life fell apart- I am now back at square 1 tryng so hard to get back to what I KNOW through my encounters w/ Jesus/God/HolySpirit---I'm not even sure what I am not letting go of but I do know that when I do and when YOU DO--I have know doubt you will KNOW- you feel Him--Not saying that God isn't with me or you now- He it is is just a different kind of 'with me' I am sure many believers know exactly what I am talking about: So, it has been a couple of months since your post? How has it been going? Have you experienced HIM fully??

Wow!! Awesome song of surrendering which the paradox is we have to surrender to win!! The battle belongs to the Lord Almighty!! It's only when i fully conceded to my innermost self that left to my own devices I''m in big trouble because this is the only thing that ties His hands from working in my life when I'm trying to fix, manage and control my own life. Once I've had this awesome liberating truth become self evident truth my life has gotten so much more manageable as the key was letting go of the extreme need for control and letting God be God in my life. _I've been so caught up in who I'm not._ This sounds like my struggle with OCD, fighting accusatory thoughts which call attention to myself, prompting me to argue my case, look inward for "evidence" of faith and take my eyes off Christ. But I've learned that faith is letting go of that desire for certainty and moving forward through the uncertainty. Jesus is on the water; don't fixate on the storm. Finally ,i start my new life with my Lord and savior by my side. My family means so much too me . Losing my rights to my daughters had me lost and with no reason of life no more. God saw this and he brought my beautiful Angel (Kelly D. Banda)into my life . Even more than that he blessed my life with a beautiful step daughter and handsome step son. Since my walk with Him not only have i stayed sober but im in the process of regaing back my relationship with my daughters. Thank you lord for opening my eyes to a better life.

I'm very sorry about his choices. Please read your Bible to find peace and learn more about what you should do. I'm glad you forgave him, and God is working on your dad. I hope you are doing well. The Lord is our savior and our father. He is the best dad ever. Don't get so caught up in sorrow or anger that you forget about everything else. If you ever need to talk please just ask me. Please pray at very least once a day and do everything God wants you to do even when you don't know why. Trust me it helps. I struggle with these things on my own, but God is teaching me. Almost everday I mess up but I try do better because of him.

At the beginning of my journey with Sobriety I would listen to this song sometimes several times a day. When I would doubt myself and want to give up because "I was so caught up In who I'm not", it would give me strength. +joel okocha Brother, I know that sometimes, we can feel this way... like we need to perform, or fear under-performing or "letting God, Jesus, down"... but truly, He knows all of our faults and weaknesses. Jesus has died for EVERY sin, past, present, and future (Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 10:14); the ultimate truth is, we will let Him down, because our flesh can't accomplish what only Christ in us can do. It's His Holy Spirit inside of us that accomplishes all He seeks to do through us, not us in and of ourselves-- we can't bear fruit, or do anything, without being attached to Jesus' vine (John 15:5). I pray you would not fear failing Jesus; but would instead trust Him, and walk near to Him, enjoying the unconditional Love He has for you, and would obey Him, letting Him work in and through you by His power, not yours. I pray that as this happens, you would be filled with "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control"-- the fruit of His Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Had a dream about letting go of something, something that has defined me for over 5 years, something I couldn't even think about when I was alone. I wake up and within a minute I see this song in my recommendations. I'm still broken, but now I think I can ask for the help I need without being so terrified of what moving on will look like.

The Lord after my true surrender and letting go of things and people I allowed to define me, etc., dismantled me, took each piece, one by one and made me deal with it and He healed each piece. I'm still in the refining process but it's so much different and better. Even my relationship with the Lord changed as well. I love this song, I feel like no matter where I go god is waiting for me. I went after things that were temporary and tangible and although I was happy, I quickly felt the emptiness that was only made to be filled by gods love. Im Learning patience and faith by waiting on gods timing instead of working on my own. Now im chasing after gods heart.
I just won't give it all up. I want too but I don't trust in God enough. I haven't found stability and comfort in him. Only rules and teachings. Yes those are also good, but you, as a human, need all of God and must follow all of his rules.
I’ve been a Christian for most of my life, but I struggle with staying on the right path. I often lose sight of God and have sinned so many times. July 1st, 2019 I was released from prison after serving 17 yrs. During those 17 yrs I went through so much with my soul. Was in the darkness until September of 2014.. was called out!!! There's was a time in my life when I didn't want to listen to Jesus. I went the opposite way of God. I was addicted to drugs and so many bad things happened to me. I was scared and never felt so alone. I knew I messed up and I decided to ignore the issue than ask God to forgive me. I thought I was too far gone. There came a day where I said, Lord, I'm done being selfish. I want you in my life again. I was ready to come back home and He took me back. I was ready to listen to Him and let Him have complete control. I was safe now and ready to live my new life with Jesus by my side. Jesus saved me! I will always be forever greatful for His mercy and His unconditional love.

I've been so ready for him for my entire adult life. It took my wife to leave for me to stop living my life thru her. I hit rock bottom and God came to me and in me. He wasn't satisfied until I surrendered to him. I've never been happier. I may be lonely at times but I will never walk alone again. I feel a peace in me...that I didn't know existed.

Not even for my self righteous assurance that I can love someone I have never known in this life. But because of your words. Which say a lot about you, what you're going through and how that resonates with a lot of us.
There is soooo much we don't know about Deity, messengers and everything else around and including us, and THere is soooo much information that is still in the dark and will never be explained.
If WE cannot see how hope is relevant to us, even after "death", then Of course everything will seem hopeless. I have been there. I have doubted Literally everything I have ever made to believe. And it is with that limited amount of understanding that sadly most of us go through life without seeking something more than what we are taught.
Until you hit rock bottom.... (whatever that means to you)...
And it was at that point that I decided to seek answers for myself. Not through a friend, not through my folks, or family, Definitely not through the various churches and religions that i have studied. Simply through the incredible power of intention. To have a basic intention to seek answers. For myself and nobody else. With no guilt about my past, with no expectations or pre-conceived notions about what i thought I knew. Basically with no judgments.
Then you start to see little things. To Notice how something is guiding your hand to the things that you need exactly at the moment. Then you know you're off to a good start. Its ironic How for a lot of people, life starts after such episodes, which come in the latter part of our lives. But we are never taught to look out for those episodes of opportunity.
If you need to give up, Do. but Do your research on how that affects you in an esoteric level.
If you feel like holding on, Do. You will always have the support you need even if its not so obvious.
Whatever you need at this very moment, know that it is already in the works and happening.
There is no outcome for you that was not already meant to be. Which could either incite your feelings of powerlessness or inspire peace knowing that there is no wrong decision you could make. But its up to you which feeling you feed.

I know its very hard to find an answer to an equation if you were never given the formula on how to solve it, but Life only wants you to know that THERE is an Answer, not to solve it. And to find inspiration in it. Because it will be revealed to us ALL. In the end it will be revealed. And that end may not necessarily come at the time of your death in this earthly realm..

I can't feel the Holy Spirits presence like I used to. I haven't been truly content and happy in a long time, but I feel like God can give me that. Despite all this, I know one thing for certain; God is real and can teach you to be a better person. I wish God would appear to me and teach me everything especially when I am confused. From my own experience Annalee-- I wasn't 'really' letting go. I thought I was. Being 'ready' and taking that total leap of faith is not the same IN MY EXPERIENCE. When I really let go- I was overcome by the Holy Spirit & continued to feel His presence as I prayed and talk to God daily-thanking Him for everything-from the snow to the birds, as things came into my view- I felt His presence He became my close friend Sadly, a couple of years ago I became caught up in life, Jesus took a back burner and my life fell apart- I am now back at square 1 tryng so hard to get back to what I KNOW through my encounters w/ Jesus/God/HolySpirit---I'm not even sure what I am not letting go of but I do know that when I do and when YOU DO--I have know doubt you will KNOW- you feel Him--Not saying that God isn't with me or you now- He it is is just a different kind of 'with me' I am sure many believers know exactly what I am talking about:

Finally ,i start my new life with my Lord and savior by my side. My family means so much too me . Losing my rights to my daughters had me lost and with no reason of life no more. God saw this and he brought my beautiful Angel (Kelly D. Banda)into my life . Even more than that he blessed my life with a beautiful step daughter and handsome step son. Since my walk with Him not only have i stayed sober but im in the process of regaing back my relationship with my daughters. Thank you lord for opening my eyes to a better life.

God helped me through my prayers
The lord has helped me through hard times when my dad made a bad desicion to love two lives with another woman but god has kept my family strong and god has given us the power to forgive my dad and I believe god is working on my dad :) LORD IS OUR SAVIOR
I'm very sorry about his choices. Please read your Bible to find peace and learn more about what you should do. I'm glad you forgave him, and God is working on your dad. I hope you are doing well. The Lord is our savior and our father. He is the best dad ever. Don't get so caught up in sorrow or anger that you forget about everything else. If you ever need to talk please just ask me. Please pray at very least once a day and do everything God wants you to do even when you don't know why. Trust me it helps. I struggle with these things on my own, but God is teaching me. Almost everday I mess up but I try do better because of him.

When I would doubt myself and want to give up because "I was so caught up In who I'm not", it would give me strength. Jesus has died for EVERY sin, past, present, and future (Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 10:14); the ultimate truth is, we will let Him down, because our flesh can't accomplish what only Christ in us can do. It's His Holy Spirit inside of us that accomplishes all He seeks to do through us, not us in and of ourselves-- we can't bear fruit, or do anything, without being attached to Jesus' vine (John 15:5). I pray you would not fear failing Jesus; but would instead trust Him, and walk near to Him, enjoying the unconditional Love He has for you, and would obey Him, letting Him work in and through you by His power, not yours. I pray that as this happens, you would be filled with "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control"-- the fruit of His Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). The Lord after my true surrender and letting go of things and people I allowed to define me, etc., dismantled me, took each piece, one by one and made me deal with it and He healed each piece. I'm still in the refining process but it's so much different and better. Even my relationship with the Lord changed as well. I couldn't think it could be better than what I had with Him, I'm here to tell you it's bliss, true bliss. GBU brother. Be well.

I went after things that were temporary and tangible and although I was happy, I quickly felt the emptiness that was only made to be filled by gods love.
