Seestar S50 Skin Instalation

When using the Seestar S50 to image the sun, the fact that it is black means it tends to get very hot during imaging. NASA uses gold foil to dissipate heat in the space craft so what better to use on the Seestar than gold foil sticker material. This video shows the easiest way to apply it to the S50.

what is the purpose of the skin? to reflect some heat away during daytime shooting? no info on these anywhere

Yes, to reflect the heat from the sun while doing solar photography.
