The scene at the end comes directly from the movie Jerry Maguire which is worth seeing if you haven't already. Made me so happy to see it! Gotta love Roy joining the coaching staff no matter what Nate thinks!!
Ahh didn't know that! I haven't seen it but I will definitely be adding it to my watch list. Really happy Roy decided to join the coaches, even tho that music on Nate freaked me out lol thanks so much for watchin and leaving a comment!
Guys remember the team scene about "rom communism." The whole episode is an ode to the great rom-coms of the 1990s. Lots of When Harry Met Sally references and quotes, including all the couple vignettes in the stadium and several lines Ted threw at Roy. Also most famous lines from Notting Hill "just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her" and Jerry Maguire "you complete me" and "shut up, just shut up. You had me at hello" in there too. Roy leaving his job and running at the end is another When Harry Met Sally reference.
Oh cool man! Unfortunately haven't seen those movies (before my time lmao) but really awesome insight that makes this episode even better for me. I'll have to go check out those films. Thanks man!
@@ItzWilson2 yep, all three are top tier but probably the GOAT is When Harry Met Sally. Essential viewing for pop culture references still used today. Remember Ted/Jason is GenX (as am I lol) so he's frequently referencing stuff from our childhood-young adulthood, which is 80s-90s. Like the random Doc Brown mention in S1E5 from Back to the Future.
@@ItzWilson2 , one of the crazy things is that I'm old enough to have sat through a lot of those shows with a girlfriend back then. I was spending most of that episode laughing at myself because i actually knew what they were.
Nah ur not I’ve really enjoyed their friendship so I’m like 50/50 on whether I want it to go further or not. I think they’d be good for one another tho so I’m conflicted! Appreciate u watchin and the comment!
Rebecca proving once again that she is the lion.. Nothing panda about that lady.
REBECCA IS GOATED. HER AND TED MUST BE TOGETHER
@@ItzWilson2 Oh yeah! I absolutely ship it. But I also dig their friendship dynamic. So I guess I'm happy either way. lol

“As you wish” ~ The Princess Bride
That put Shes a rainbow on my playlist.
Ill be honest I never heard that song before this, but I listen to it now haha
Am I the only one that just wants Ted and Rebecca to just be really close friends but don't take it further than that?

You guys always leave me wanting more, ASAP!
Haha thank you for watchin! We’re on it!
Told ya.. nearing the end, the coaster is spinning and fun parts... then.. WHOOP.. quick dive... wasn't BS'n ya buddy. Stay safe and have fun.
Yea dude I think I’m gonna be sick man🤢loving the ride tho! Thanks for watching haha
Sometimes it's better to be someone better than yourself.
Damn Peter dropping knowledge on me !
Nate spitting at himself for motivation is not that great, if you think about it.
Certainly not yea, not a healthy way to gain confidence
Gross ! It’s a Nate can’t get what he wants episode. When he does it needs him to be something he’s not.
