You can get a much better and cheaper version of the MonsterArts anyway if you do some custom work between a Bandai vinyl Jet and an SH FiguArts Body-kun (or one of the countless knockoffs thereof).
Fun fact this figure was probably designed in 2014 since the Godzilla ps4 game used its models from the monsterarts line so this figure and others are out of date so probably every model in that game is a decade old and are barley being released
You did an outstanding job with the presentation of the figure even though it's inaccurate. I have the singular point Jet Jaguar. It's a sale for me and will go good with my collection.
One of the more noticeable inaccuracies that you didn't even mention: Jet's eyes are blue. In the 1973 film AND the IDW comics, they should be black. And honestly, the blue eyes and alternate eye piece with the rounded lenses is probably the reason why people are saying this is based on the short film from last year.
I think that this is probably closer to the suit in person than in the actual film witch might explain the accuracy problems or that's just me ingesting compium edit: i'm impressed that this is like one of the only review channels that aren't colored by hiya toys bias
It’s definitely not accurate after closer inspection to multiple other reference shots. It’s hard to notice especially if you don’t have the eye for some of the smaller details
i haven't even gotten mine yet and i'm already considering selling it, there are just so many things wrong with it. i also really hate his size, he's way too big compared to standard figuarts and he looks awful next to hedorah lol
I’m actually completely disheartened and want to jump off the bridge because I can’t believe Bandai straight up lying to us of this figure being accurate when is not, so not only Bandai is photo shopping these figures but also straight up lying to us, this should be a red flag and also I’m pretty sure nobody would even buy this figure anyway because let’s face it, no one gives a flying shit about Jet Jaguar. Sh monsterarts needs to shut down period. I’m so completely done and fed up arguing with you guys.
@@thegodzilladude725 and how dare you defending this figure, watch Steven toy review’s Rathalos 20th anniversary review and see why you should buy things from SHMA ever again!
Maaaaan as much as I wanted this, $100 can get me a bunch of video games. I’ll just stick to my Playmates. Great review Vinny, you saved me $100

Happy to help out cuz!
Do you think it will go on sale?

I guess I can buy that theory but what about Hedorah? Doesn’t match the game model and turned out really good!
@@Super_Mariozilla for that figure not sure haven’t seen anything on it yet but who knows
Probably the biggest letdown of the year so far.

That’s awesome! And thank you!

Shoot you’re right! I guess it slipped my mind lol
*sighed* Jet Jaguar get taller than Kong Sh Monsterarts.

That’s more so Hedorah’s fault sadly. Hedorah is smaller than he should be.
