Thanks for that Rikard. I confess that my immediate reaction is, "now why didn't I think of those ideas" but that simply goes to prove why you make a living out of this I I don't 😁 Three good ideas which I suspect will have their individual merits in different images. Thanks again.

I enjoyed it! The Q&A format is great for those of us learning along the way. I think most of my difficulties lie in knowing which technique to use for masking for a composite (color range, select subject and hand-mask, etc), and how best to integrate images from multiple sources. In images like your "Lady and the Fox" they're separated in space which must make it easier, but in your "The Protector" (from your 500px) you had to bring the leopard right in on top of the model's shape.

Glad you enjoyed it! On selections, the more you use Photoshop, the more you become familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of each selection method. But I like the idea of a tutorial covering the different selection tools and which to use when. For "The Protector" I have a course that teaches you exactly how to do the composite. You can check that out here: www.nucly.com/protector-photoshop-composite-course. DM me if you're interested in the course and I'll give you a discount code.
