Uniquely brilliant, this band. It’s like a kind of sad and melancholy (and dark) magic that these guys spread with this song.

This just might be my favorite neurosis song. These guys are so underrated it’s not even funny. Each album is a true sonic journey through your minds eye.

Bigger than life. Nobody like this band. In a league of their own.

If I ever get to see Neurosis live and they play this song I'd probably turn into dust, sand and smoke trying to reach for the skies @5:35. Or maybe I'll just cry like a baby until the song ends.

Funny that you said "into dust" because the huge midpoint riff in the song you mentioned to me sounds like a really heavy version of Mazzy Star's song called Into Dust.

I certainly cry like a baby during this song live. My sister wrote a poem about stars before her passing at the untimely age of 11. The first time I heard the soundclip I wept uncontrollably.

I cried like a little bitch when they played it in Poland.

Seeing this live a few years back, I absolutely cried. Hit me like a fucking truck. Wasn’t expecting the sample to be used live. The girl behind me was absolutely balling. It was intense and beautiful.

I saw them a couple of years ago. To my luck and wonderment they played this track. I literally wept after the sample of the woman played, and they crash back in to the glorious despair.
You rarely get such fragile honesty in such brutal music.
      Amazing amazing band.
