- After he's assigned to help Gordon and Henry with the express during a busy time, Oliver begins to doubt that he's the right engine for the job.
Hello everyone! At long last! It's finally here! Episode 3 has now been remastered. The original version of the episode was the first non-adaption that was made for the series and honestly, it showed. Now, the episode has been rewritten from the ground up and not only does it flow better than the original, I actually know what the future of the series will be after this point so I can drop little hints within. I hope you all enjoy!

FUCK YEAH OLIVER GO HE'S SO FUCKING COOL HOLY SHIT - บันเทิง
Love how Henry mentioned his Super Rescue and James mentioned Henry’s event with the seven tenders… Love Henry’s reaction, how it took him two days to be rid of the smell while Duck just laughed. Great callbacks to the Railway series.
I have the entire Bachmann Thomas “standard gauge” locomotives with minimal rolling stock, though I made sure Gordon has his 5 express carriages. After watching this epsiode, I tested Gordon’s idea about Oliver pulling three express coaches and while I dont agree with his philsosphy as my model pulled the three “as seen in the epsiode” effortlessly, Oliver’s smaller size doesnt stand up to the express coaches and should stick to branchline coaches, which fit with his size perfectly.
I like that you gave foreshadowing to Thomas’ dislike of Oliver in “Little Western Rescue” and “Thomas and Oliver”.
Yep! Glad someone has caught on to that. That's the benefits of the remasters, I can drop hints to the future episodes like that. Since i actually know what i'm doing. :P

I SERIOUSLY JUST SUDDENLY WITNESSED IT QUITE INSANELY CLEARLY, TOO!
@@ilovetrains323I loved that remaster

I SERIOUSLY DO ACTUALLY GOTTA P-P-POLITELY ADMIT THAT YA CERTAINLY AIN'T THE ONLY 1 WHO SERIOUSLY LOVES IT AS I SERIOUSLY DO ACTUALLY UNDER NO COMPLETELY COMPLETE CIRCUMSTANCES LOVE IT STRAIGHT ON THROUGH FROM START TO FINISH MYSELF, TOO!
@@ilovetrains323 permission to use this for something?
Oliver: Struggles but manages to get over the hill
Gordon: Gives up the moment he feels the strain.
Seems to be a skill issue on Gordon’s end
Skill issue Gordon 😂
Well done! If there was a tank engine who could cover on the express, it would be Oliver. Especially considering the 1400's top speed of 80mph.
INDEED!!!!!!!!!!!
if you ignore the fact that oliver isn't anywhere near as strong as gordon or henry and that he can't hold as much coal and water as them.
@@hiawathabeast I mean, he does only have three coaches, so I think he could handle it. Gordon and Henry would have more.
@@SodorFan15
YEAH, HE SHAN'T NEED TO STRUGGLE!!!
What a phenomenal story! Beautifully written, the support Oliver has been given from the others was so sweet. I loved the part with Thomas at Knapford as the 3 big engines praised Oliver. Lastly that end credits shot was hilarious 🤣 a full 10/10!
I SERIOUSLY C-C-COULDN'T HAVE CLEARLY P-P-PUT IT BETTER MYSELF!!
"What a lovely turntable. It would be a pity if I was to-"
(Trucks laughing their frames off)
@@garrettsmith2776
OOH, WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT!
to the theme of it’s always sunny in philadelphia
_Oliver falls into the Turntable Well_
I remember when Thomas pulled the express for the first time, and it took place in the CGI episode "Express Coming Through"
SAME HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess Oliver is missing Isabel and Dulcie just like Thomas with Annie and Clarabel
I SERIOUSLY C-C-COULDN'T HAVE CLEARLY P-P-PUT IT BETTER MYSELF!!!!!!!!!
Don’t forget Gilbert with Veronica and Dexter
Dulcie was the coach saved from scrap

MM-HMM!!!!!!!!!!!
Although this is remastered, I tell you, the tension and satisfaction you respectively feel is real when Oliver climbs Gordon Hill and conquers it without much struggle. Very good work, Nathan.
I SERIOUSLY C-C-COULDN'T HAVE CLEARLY P-P-PUT IT BETTER MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!!
That was an incredible story. I love how Oliver got to prove his usefulness, despite what Gordon, Henry and James said. The determination of that engine shows just how good he really can be. This really did feel like a Railway Series story that can really fit into the book series :) .
What a phenomenal story, reminds me of my own tank engine who’s also a temporary express engine.
It’s content like this that inspires me to make this type of content
Another great remastered episode, the nightmare scene that Oliver had was a really nice touch for the remastered episode of Oliver’s determination, just like the remastered specials before, it was awesome.
Everyone else along with the voice actors did a really good job on their roles and to helping out on making this remaster episode possible. 😎👍
Never put off until tomorrow what can be done today, Oliver!
I wonder if someone will snap when Gordon tells them they aren't suited for the Express
I didn’t expect this story to take place during Oliver the Western Engine.
Well, it's a little before it but yes.
@@ilovetrains323
NICELY WELL DONE, OL' CHAP!!
Another year, another fantastic, remastered Nathan! This absolutely impales compared to the original. Not only is this obviously the first original story of the series, but it's the 2nd part of all of your story. And it concludes perfectly and quite funnily, with the post credit scene. All in all, this was absolutely perfect, and I was not expecting that season 1 remastered intro either. Keep up the good work man, can't wait to see more remasters and the upcoming season 5.
Well, Nathan, after watching this remastered version for Oliver's Determination, it was another great video you put together and Oliver certainly put the big engines in their place by making it up Gordon's Hill without any help and Sir Topham Hatt praised Oliver for his hard work while also revealing he was onboard Oliver's train and gives Oliver Dulcie to pull with Isabel whenever he does passengers trains while also reminding Gordon, Henry and James that every engine is to be shown respect after Edward told him what the three of them said to Oliver. Also, the ending was a good callback to Oliver Owns Up. All-in-all, in the end, great work, bud and looking forward to what you have planned for any more remasters in the future as well as Season 5 of your Thomas series!
Keep Pulling Mr. Oliver.
Oliver is the little engine that could!

The drama, the sense of foreboding, the tension, the relief! Truly remarkable. Gives a whole new meaning to "Little engines can do big things". Keep it up, dude! 👍
Edward, you fink! 😆
Thomas seems to have a big jealousy problem. As if his beef with Stepney, Stanley and Ryan weren't enough... Would be a treat to see how you'll remake his rivalry with Oliver.
Oliver fell in the turntable in the end!
Oliver the great western engine saying: I think I can I think I Can I think I can I think I can I think i can!
When he got to the top he says: I thought I could I thought I could I thought I could!
Keep up the excellent work. The remaster eps are amazing
You know I found this kinda funny because Gordon, Henry and James (in part) are big tender engines and they often need Edward's help to get over the hill but Oliver is a tank engine and he got all over the hill by himself
Amazing this feel like a lost episode in season 3
Wow, this was brilliant
18:54
Edward: (Sighs) Here we go again.
The little Western engine that could
HEH-HEH-HEH, WELL, IF YOU ASK ME, LOOKS LIKE WE'VE SERIOUSLY GOT OURSELVES A SPECTACULARLY SPECTACULAR REFERENCE TO THE OFFICIALLY OFFICIAL WELL-KNOWN MOVIE TITLED THE LITTLE ENGINE THAT COULD!!!!
The way Oliver tackled the hill, along getting support to get there on time to is really sweet :)
If I’m honest, I feel three coaches would be easy for Oliver to pull: pretty sure 14xx pulled more MK1s in preservation. A more likely amount for Oliver to struggle with would be 8 or ten
This is amazing!
So nice to see Henry being handled properly in this CGI style. I really enjoy those Gordon and Henry being snarky moments.
The visuals are just like Arc productions’s animation!! Same as the brenner’ like writing! Cool!
Yeah It is
Great episode ngl in the little engines song that clip of Oliver pulling express always stuck out to me so the fact someone decided to make a story involving Oliver pulling it is quite cool plus Oliver has some of the best stories in the famdom especially considering how underutilized he was in actual show and railway series
I’d like to see you do an episode about Neil being given a tour around Sodor about what’s changed around over the past few years
You do know all of the 14 XX tank engine it means he has a top speed of 85 miles an hour right?
“Youll be surprised in life what big things come in small packages” that had me laughing
Can you remastered more Thomas episodes of Toby The Brake-Van, Percy Plows the Field, The Jinxed Station, Little Western Rescue, Double the Work, Thomas and Oliver, The Blistering Cold, Henry and the Steamroller, The Christmas Catastrophe, Jinty's Twin Trouble, Zach, Catch of the Day please.
I don't know about the Season 2 episodes but I do plan on finishing S1 at some point
Well I am impressed that Oliver show determination well done and you are really useful
Don’t give up show determination
great work nathan
Not a bad story. But the fat controller must be mad to use Oliver to pull the express. He got money to waste
I knew Oliver can do it, he really proved that little engines can do big things!
How was Oliver struggling he’s only pulling 3 bogie coaches with what ever number of passengers
Because they were full of people and that causes weight
@@Archiebugghe’s pulled auto coaches on the regular before he came to the NWR maybe even more
Finally a Oliver episode really love these episodes with Oliver in them
Please tell me what the theme is that when james says that a splendid engine like him should pull the Express instead of coal trucks
This is a great Oliver episode! I love how this episode takes place before resource and sagacity. I love how super rescue is mentioned. ❤️
I would to see Percy duck and Oliver together episode
I see you used the auto coaches WildNorWester and I made.
I guess there's just too much positive vibes at Knapford for Thomas to handle, 🤣🤣I hope you'll be remastering Thomas' grudge against Oliver next.😁😁
We'll see. If I do, it won't be for a very long time. I want to focus on my S5 for a while.
@@ilovetrains323 and we respect that, You take your time
@@ilovetrains323 Understood. Love the quality of your remastered work too.
I believe Thomas was being jealous of Oliver.
This Is Awesome
Truly magnificent work Nathan
Oliver's class was made to pull 5 big coaches so 3 is nothing to 5 of them
The same with Thomas's classes
Yeah But in the episode Express coming through they Made Thomas look so weak, however in Toad's adventure he was pullinh two express coaches with ease
Was this inspired by that B-Roll footage from Little Engines?
Good work..😊
If the Big Engine thought that Oliver pulling the Express was impressive, just wait till they see Percy,Duck and Thomas Triple Heading the Express while Gordon was being repair.
Fabulous remaster!
I liked that Oliver pulled the train up the hill that was so cool
Awesome video mate 👍 👌 👏
DUCK and Oliver 1:9
Obviously there is no Train whose determination is like Oliver's
Love the opening theme
Thomas being jealous of the big engines praising Oliver is meant to foreshadow the events of Thomas and Oliver.
What a Great and a Phenomenal Story at That!, I Have to say Oliver pulls the Express is Incredible.😃👍 the End Credits Scene was Great btw.

"He wasn't as fast as Gordon or Henry"
Your right, he's faster then Henry
Oliver/14xx's can go 80mph
I agree with how Henry, Gordon and James showed kindness to Oliver when he had proven himself to be a really useful engine, he is amazing and has resource and sagacity and he is an example to all the engines of Sodor
Atta boy Oliver!
You us proud!
Oliver The Western Engine's dream sequence would be the episode "Escape" all over again
Outstanding!
Oliver Is Like The Little Engine That Could
I love this episode ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
That was amazing.
wow, this really looks of the series
15:45 Duncan and Rheneas.
Too bad it didn’t involve with Skarloey Railway Engines.
Like I said, Not interested story involving big North Western Railway engines.
You’re doing great work Oliver 👍👍👍👏👏👏
Nice to see 2 of the book characters in this hopefully you make the wellsworth and suddary engines in the future
check episode 4
Can wait to see that you going to Remastered “Little Western Rescue” “Thomas and Oilver”
Oliver is definitely a very determined Train
God, I'm so sick of Gordon's, Henry's and James' arrogance
Nice to see BoCo at the beginning!
6:05 Oliver Oliver Wake Up!
9:03 Oliver’s whistle sound is the right pitch. Some scenes, it is low pitched.
I adore Topham's voice.
Gordon, James & Henry's criticisms on Oliver piss me off here, but it's great to know he has supporters. It's great the big engines got busted and learned their lesson.
Now that is more like it
Another coaches
The Little Western Engine That Could.
I’d like to see you do a special about a Great Railway Show being held on Sodor and maybe call it “The Great Sodor Railway Show”, and having Gator, Ashima, Rajiv, Yong-Bao, Shane, Raul, Gina, Carlos, Axel, Ivan, Frieda, Vinnie and Kenji appear in it
Do you swear to keep comments?
Pretty much

She probably will. This is before her time though

Here's my lines of this:
I'm really proud of y That y can do a splendid job with the passengers well.
I like how Henry is such a prick in this one it’s in his nature in the books in the model series or the good one
I wish this was an actual episode for the show
