Which one you'll choose? Sigma 50 f1.2 or this laowa if the price is not considered? (Personal use mostly portraits, astrophotography, and nature) Camera Sony A7iv
Hey Hasper! Thanks for the review! I just bought it, cause of you mostly! In my eos R tho, the in camera stabilization dont work when this lens attached. Any suggestion? Thanks.
The best lens review I have ever seen on youtube, I mean it, I had watched a lot of lens reviews but your review is different and very fun to watch, watched the video to the end and I like putting some Backstage footage in your video, good luck. 🤍✨
Well considering both Canon and Nikon have their mount systems closed to third parties complaining that there is no Autofocus when shooting on your R6 is a bit stupid
I don’t see the correlation there to be honest. It’s also stupid that the systems are closed to third parties, but it doesn’t take away the fact that I’d like to have autofocus. My R6 has an amazing autofocusing system, and I’d like my lenses to be able to take full advantage of the system. That’s just reasonable, isn’t it?
@@kaspergaram I get that it is stupid the systems are closed at the moment, but canon and Nikon spent $10’s of millions developing the mounts and should be allowed to capitalise and roll out their lenses before opening the system up via licensing. What I was saying I get that it is a pity that auto focus is not available, but to spend half a review bitching about it was annoying
@@rtyler1869 thanks for explaining your point. I do agree with the fact that surely they SHOULD capitalise on their development. It would be dumb for them not to. About me bitching, i also get your point now. I guess my complaints are ained more at Canon than Laowa or the lens. But as it was a review of the lens, the lack of autofocusing ended up being a big part of my experience and therefore the review video too. Now that i think about it, I probably should have phrased things very differently 😊
What’s the fastest lens you’ve ever used? 🤔
I have the Laowa 33mm F0.95 APO. It’s the sharpest 0.95 out of a few I have ever used. Laowa is really under the radar.
Laowa is just the best lens company out there right now. Love them!

Thanks a lot dude! The IBIS should just work if you turn it on. I really don’t know what to do if it doesn’t work
