for everyone here: most of these packaging videos are definitely not the norm. though there are people that love packaging their trades this cute, most people stay with the simple toploader, card and envelope! if you want to get into trading or already are into it, do not feel bad if you cannot package your stuff like this! we, as collectors, never expect things like this. as long as the photocard is safe, your packaging is good :)

I reuse the freebies people give me and I have tons of stickers just because I have a sticker obsession😭 you don't have to go all out like some do, i have barely spent extra money because i just reuse items
rarely do people make a profit from selling photocards! they pay for shipping to get the photocard in the first place and overcharging shouldn't be the answer to adding extra freebies. if anything, the tiktokers probably added more extras just for the aesthetics and extra seconds of asmr

Nope, this isn't always the case. The reason why photocards are expensive is because of the demands from buyers. Sellers can't just put a price on it esp if it doesn't in line with the market price.
I've spent a lot on photocards on Ebay and usually its pretty rare for extras to be included i've had some fan made photo cards and blackpink stickers a few times. Other wise its just the letter with the photo card in plastic taped to a plain piece of card board with no letter or anything. So the packaging is usually quite simple as well , i've never had anything like this before (so far at least).

some fans that collect rip pages off to not collect dust since they might have dubs (because they're hosting group orders or buying an extra copy for fansigns) or this are just old albums. in my case, when I received my first album I didn't know how to take care of it so the cover got ruined for the sun and my brother accidentally ripped a page off. if in the future I want to sell it, the price will be at like $1.000 arg pesos (basically, nothing compared to the original price) so I preffered to not waste money for nothing and just use the pages as freebies. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes I don’t sell nor trade I buy PCs for my Collection I NEVER get a pc packed this nicely and cutely! Like they just put a sleeve and a top loader a lil note and in the envelope I rarely buy rare PCs so when I buy them I get these typa packages

As someone who does trades often. NOBODY packs like this. I’ve had one person pack me something nicely like this. But most people who trade pack the pc in a dirty top loader, overused greeting card and no freebies. It’s frustrating because I would put a lot of effort into packing and most people do the bare minimum.
