  • The whole idea behind setting up a kuroiler farm is to hatch the eggs. I built a kerosene incubator for that purpose and here I am sharing the result of that endeavour with the public.
I mentioned what I believed I did right, and also pointed out what I feel could be done a lot better.

Carbon monoxide from the lamp could be a factor. Do you candle the eggs

I did few days to hatching and I saw that most of the developed to a certain stage. Only some didn't yield at all....some tried coming out of their shell but died in the process

I have gone through your previous video and now I know why your hatch rate was low. The problem is a the way you constructed the incubator. There isn't supposed to be any wood below the trays, i.e your trays should have been hanging on the edges not on a flat wood, that wood below prevented heat from the lantern from getting to the eggs and also this will consequently lead to you using more kerosene than required, also there will be a great temperature gradient between the top and bottom trays. This is the only reason your incubator failed. Every other part was well constructed and should be left like that. To fix your problem is very very very simple. Just call a carpenter to cut of the bottom wood on which you placed your trays leaving just enough at the edges to support the trays. That's all!!!!

Will be difficult because of the design. Need to check the temperature.
